- Chihuahua is often overlooked as a tourist destination, but there are plenty of things to do when in the Historic Downtown of the Capital city of Chihuahua. We took a day exploring the downtown area, and not only is it beautiful but there are some very impressive structures and tons of history here.
Check out our day as we explore the center of Chihuahua. We went ahead and took a tour around the city on El Tarahumara. We were pleasantly surprised that we got so much out of the $5 tour. If interested in getting more information you can have a peek at their website.

I ♡ CHIHUAHUA! The hometown of my wife and the city where her family still resides. If you return there make sure to see "Las Grutas DE Chihuahua". The cave is accessible and beautiful! It's NOT Carlsbad Caverns but it's still worth seeing.
