I like how the call is so baffling that the commentator questioned if the card graphics were displaying incorrectly 😂
😂
😂
Right. But it's a hero call.. let's not forget about the crew member who worked upstairs in view of the cameras & card displays, and was caught taking 15k from Robbie stack sneakily. This all occurred around J4 incident
She called with J high because she thought he had A high, makes perfect sense.
He even win with A high, in this spot we don't call with J high
She knew she didn’t have Ace high. She scoped her hand, & knew exactly what she had.
I agree it was a bad call that worked, nothing more.
Her revised story could make sense, but yeah it’s a bit late after the Ace high comment.
what makes perfect sense is u didn't listen to the context like a typical dolt
she said she thought A high after he agreed to running it twice, instead of just once.
Imagine hellmuth was on the receiving end of this
“Honey she called me with Jack high!”
@@JakeReynoldsYTthe fact that I read that in his voice shows how good a comment this was
@@Vidarr90 I laughed for 10 minutes straight at that comment, lol
@@kirilkirilov7938me too
wouldn't happen, he's a nit and that 87s play would be considered spazz in his repertoire. he only spazzes against good players. but if a similar thing happened.. yea.
then again he wouldn't play a nosebleed line up with several skilled pros in it.
9:48
Her: "I thought you had Ace high."
Garrett: "So why call with jack high then?" 💀💀💀
Wasn't she just misreading her hand and thought had a pair of 3s? She even says before going all in "is 3s good here?"?
@@ralfzacherl9942 No she just lied about that in the interview. They ask her right after the hand reveal if she has a 3, and she says (implies) no "I have a pure bluff catcher." She also tries to make excuses. Garett says he could have the Ace of clubs, she says "I know you don't have Ace Jack of clubs" meaning she knows she loses to ace high.
05:20
06:24
"You got pocket 3? You got a 3?"
"No. No. This is a pure bluff catcher. But... but... I don't... I don't have...."
11:59 " I ran it twice, because I *didnt* think jack high could be good"
Commentator award show when? This guy needs one. Kept it respectful while keeping us perfectly informed about a crazy situation
Bart Hanson the goat
Bart Hanson rules. Check out his youtube channel "Crush live poker". He does a call-in show where he reviews his callers' hands. Posts new clips every week. They're great. He rocks.
Exactly. HCL seems to forget in the razmatazz of what qualifies for bums on seats production (personalities, carnage, humiliation, millions won & lost) that poker-centric content has its place. There are 1000s of viewers of this channel that tune in for the poker. Period. To keep it right, keep it tight. Bart Hanson was majestic in the way he explained and commentated to pros and recs alike the extraordinary poker play that just unveiled.
Facts well said
Her reaction to winning is so sus. She seems like she regrets it instantly.

Hitler was calm also when he did all the bad things.
he asked nothing, she gave it back.
Allthough we‘ll never know the truth, as we both weren‘t there to hear the conversation
At 9:50 she said she thought he had Ace high. Garrett said, "so why call with jack high?"
And she dodged the question entirely.
Thanks for pointing that out, I just noticed that
It's just a game and she got lucky with a wonky move.
I think he gave up a tell, she got him talking RIGHT before the river which is super dumb on his part. At that point she knew he didnt have an ace. I think she meant originally. Also you ever bluff and get in too deep so you raise or call, hoping they fold? its a thing people. She may have got in deep and got lucky.
@@werewolf74 I understand if she raised ie Bluffed, but when calling a big bet with Jack high ie nothing, and stating at one point you know the Jack isn't good, is just so weird. I hate playing bad players who call your All In with only a face card. It's bad poker. The odds are way off for such a bad call. It makes you not want to play anymore or get upset or in this case, think something nefarious is going on.
She was also interviewed after and said she thought she had J3. so wtf.
In the end he didn't make his straight or flush (or even 2pr) and lost. but the way she got there was odd, even to the casual viewer. how does she call that confidently and smugly on a weak coin flip.
"The most insane" is an understatement. It's the type of call a beginner player does playing with his friends to joke around, not when there are $130k in the line.
To be fair, she got bluffed a lot by Gman.
It's the same thing. 130k is like 130$ in your game.
@Yaowza111 zzz her avg buy in last year was $400 suddenly handing out 130k lol

That man looked like he was lost in the Twilight Zone 🤣
Garrett was smiling when he said "I have 8 high" knowing that he lost both times already, so the money he lost is not the issue in his mind
Yeah, he clearly knew that he lost the hand when he saw the river and was only shocked when he realized how he lost. Her play only makes sense if she misread her hand (J/3) which is a bit doubtful given how often she checked it during the hand or suspected/knew that he had 8/7 which would be god level poker skill.
Yeah she most definitely lied during her interview that she misread her hand.
Yeah he lost but that call is hella sus

" i have a blocker" killed me lol. blocking bluffs so it is more likely he has a value hand. good blocker indeed!
Ya that was my favorite, it’s like uh if you’re blocking straights and flushes then your opponent is less likely to be making a move. More like protecting a made hand on a wet board.
This is what happens when poker commentators overuse terms, monkey see monkey do.....
@@trefwoordpunk2225 At least the commentators know HOW to use them correctly. She obviously had no clue what it even meant.

In a game of instincts, Garrett's are blaring that something is wrong.

@@devildickdeep Shazam gave me "Hush Little Baby" DJ Baby Beatz
Super suspicious to anyone who knows the game well. You just don’t call all in pots with nothing in that situation. You lose to Queen high of clubs which is easily in his range. His reaction is a response to the fact that it’s almost impossible for her to make that call in that situation. And for those asking why the 6th card- they “ran it twice” which means they both have two chances to win post all in.
Can you explain further? Let’s say it had been a Jack or an 8 they would’ve stuck with it? And since it was just a high card still winning they flip it again.
possibly just a nit call
Its absolutely impossible if playing only odds or using some kind of stat comp, however in the end she won! And maybe her statement of "I was playing you and not the pot" was accurate. I play tons of poker and when playing strangers or ops who I haven't played much I stick to script, however with players I seen make bluffs after awhile I can read pretty good. And let's not forget in the end this is a game of chance. I could tell at that point he could have neither a straight or flush and when she realised which may have been a feeler he took to long thinking to have had third ten. Sometimes if I have big stack I will make such calls just to show others bluffs are not always a good idea! As for her I put you on an ace, that is somthing you might say to smooth feathers he was already beaten so what's the point of rubbing it in? Or maybe she didnt want to give away that she spotted a tell?
@@sissywalker1955”takes to long to make his decision so he doesn’t have a 10” man I really hope your playing .01, .02 or your gonna go broke quick lol
The first thing out of Robbie's mouth after the raise to 10k. Was if Garrett can he beat a pair of 3s? You can see the gears turning in her head and she put him on an 87 or a draw of that nature where she might be ahead and she was ahead. The whole time. Anything can happen in poker. It's not about the cards every hand you can play the player. An experienced player can read when someone's on a draw might just be bluffing with a 7/2 off suit
It’s a little surprising that most players other than Andy kept joking around and laughing as if nothing happened. I’ve seen this many times before, read about it and followed it and still many years later watching it on my phone I’m still shocked and have the same reaction.
Nobody hates a Phil Ivey story more than Phil Ivey.

You can see and it’s quite obvious.
“I just wanna call to see it” sais it all.
phil really didn't want to hear that story lol
Imagine if this happened to Phil Hellmuth. 😂
Nuclear fallout.
ahhahaha lmao
So what phil
Phil would get arrested for abuse LMAO
HONEY! SHE CALLED MY RAISE WITH A JACK AND A FOUR!
"I thought you called with ace high" holy hell LMAO
“I put you on ace high”🤨🤨😂
She had the blocker to the straight flush draw, lol
Firstly, hats off to the camera men /women. They really understand poker and what shot is important. (Long extended shots of Garrett’s face!)
That's the director's job but yes
Didn't even think about this aspect and that's how you know they did a great job 👍
They don't have any camera women
And shout out to her for getting her twins in the frame at all times
Lets call it camera person please. Glad you tried to be inclusive.
“Honey, she called the shove with J4!” 😂
Have a feeling Garrett doesn’t get the support from the poker community in the aftermath of this incident cuz they are all sick of losing to him
Literally
He played this hand perfectly
Like he does most hands
For those in the comments, of course it isn't losing the money that is bothering Garret here, he plays these stakes routinely and loses much larger pots with a smile, the problem is the hand doesn't make any sense, so it's destabilised him, he's trying to work out what might be going on. When you play for this much money a single suspect situation can potentially cost you millions. You have to understand when something doesn't add up, why and how it's occurred. This is just weird. You can't call there, no matter how 'good' a read you have, it just doesn't make sense. Something weird went on, or she just cannot play poker.
Yeh she just cant play poker, same way I lose to double pair 2 and 3 on turn and river when I have A and 8 Diamond on my hand, with flop Ace
She's just bad
Bart is such a good commentator. Called it perfectly.
Nah, he sounded like a whiney baby. It was patronizing and misogynistic. I’ve seen Phil Ivey and Daniel Neg make similar reads to call someone’s bluff that seemed crazy and they were also right. And they get praised by the announcers for their insane reads and instincts. There is a reason she is at that table and has that chip count and while the whiners and complainers who play just like everyone else get bounced. She knew he didn’t have it, and her intuition was right - PERIOD.

Am I the only one that replayed this 100 times?
You definitely can't watch it just once..Or at least I can't that's for sure..
“Little bit of a straight draw”
The more times I watch this video, the more lies I catch her saying. Now it's coming out that she was just caught on live TV with Rip at an NFL game, and Rip's wife confirmed it on her twitter page too.
Garrett will remember this hand for the rest of his life.
so we.
hopefully we don't see him again.

Exactly, can I get money back
@@bigcockedman714 nonono, stfu plsc he’s good player and we WANT to see pro’s playing PRO poker, not a dumb ass calling on Jack high.

She had the better hand that's why she won.

@@Lymbe06 look for Garret Adelstein in TH-cam, what do you find often ? Bluffshove Turn .. what else Mr. Adelstein should do ? Against most other Regulars it works, but if you do something to a person at the table again/again and again .. they call you.
@@Keptionpoker sure with an Ace maybe a King high but Jack high come on now. there are more hands he bluffs with in that spot that accidentally bests hers than doesnt. even an all in bot that goes all in on every turn you dont make that call with the cards in your hand.
That guy remembering Ivey of a hand played in thr past ... using the word " LIKE" a 1000 times 😂😂😂😂😂😂
If anyone is dumb enough to believe this hand was legit, quit poker. Actually, don't! we want your money. The time chip said it all. Stall to get the information and then call knowing you have a slight edge. Hilarious this is still a debate.
the stream has a delay.
"I thought you had Ace high"
*calls with Jack high
she could of hit a jack, the ace then would be no good
@@johnkemple Lol
She thought she had J3 (and was too embarassed to admit it). You can hear her asking "is 3 no good?" when she's pondering the call. She also had J3 the hand before, and she looks visibly distraught when she flips her own hand - it makes sense. It might still be a lie, but it definitely makes sense.
@@johnkemple hahahhahahahahhahahahhahahahahhahahahahha
@@Cowtymsmiesznego nope she checks her hand couple of times she was lying about the J3
For the first time in poker history the title isn’t hype.
lol
it shows that he doesn’t play tournaments and only cash. Lol sitting at the table with a very large chip stack and having power in that way to control the table is a very comfortable situation at times. But you have to know at some point you’re gonna have this situation happen. Lol
No one makes that call with J high for that much money.
I was playing you instead of the cards I thought you had an ace high so I called you with Jack hi😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

That’s nuts
it’s weird but like what would the ring have to do with it?
@@iSwearToCod in poker and chess I've heard stories of people using devices like rings that vibrate. The other person with access to hole cards can signal decisions using a series of vibrations. Like vibrate twice means call, once means fold, etc.
