Sadly.. Gale will never be a wizard again in any of my play throughs. After I discovered that he's the best warding bond anchor left in camp to self heal, he's always left behind lol.
It’s funny Gale is the only one who automatically heals with that spell! I think it’s to prevent losing him as a character but it doesn’t happen with anyone else
@@JasonDunna haven’t tried the spore Druid yet. Though I sort of got a taste during the underworld chapter. A spore Druid plus a necromancer wizard and you basically don’t need any fighter or barbarian in your party.
6/6 spore Druid necromancer wizard is awesome. Grab the staff of cherished necromancy in act 3 and scribe circle of death as a wizard spell. You’ll heal for 18hp every attack and you can spam that skill endlessly. And it doesn’t hurt your undead. So good!

It’s nice to see the druid ranked so highly! It’s my favorite class! 😊 Honestly, I’m not a huge fan of how Druids work in BG3. I think they are so much better in the tabletop version. I was also not particularly impressed with the way they handled summoning for druids either. (I’m pretty much just salty that they can’t summon animals. Only fey, elementals, and zombies. I don’t care for any of those.) also, the classes they added - Land, Moon, Spores - those are literally my least favorite druid subclasses… Still, it’s literally the only class I ever pick in my playthroughs. 😅
On my 1st playthrough i went 3 Rogue thief then Gloom stalker Ranger. Had something like 4 attacks per turn at level 10. Was ganking NPCs with my bow constantly 1 shotting. Bosses while sneaking a couple more shots.
Couldn't agree more about the druid, love that class, just wish we had more dialogue in the underdark. Wish i could say to spaw "hey yeah i can do that too, and i also have my own "circle" 😂"
Eldricht knight 7 5 abjuration was one of my favorite builds ever could self cast haste never break concentration never took damage had insane AC with heavy armor and was outputting 40-70 damage per slash it was bonkers
I love that, eldritch knight is so strong on a lot of builds but even by itself it’s great. I like to have my sorcerer use twinned haste on itself and my eldritch knight
Tempest cleric 8/Storm Sorcerer 3/ Wizard 1. Gives you a wide range of spells; healing; and can cast quickened spells. Shadowheart is perfect for this and I dumped her Strength and Intelligence and gave her the band you get in Act one. Very powerful.
Everything about the Druid is fun! Land Moon or Spore are all very powerful with lots of great options. Moon Druid is the best tank in the game I personally think, and it has crowd control and summons. Incredible class
I beat honour mode as a moon druid with 2 other friends. In Act 3 i just strictly used the earth elemental summon and earth elemental form. The class kept me alive through most things when i should’ve been dead.
Swrod Bard can use slashing flourish to hit 4 times and stack their spell save dc to obsene numbers, if they get the djin ring that lets you use illusion spells with a bouns action you can one round most encounter and disable any leftovers, not as much burst damage as an Gloomstalker Assassin or as many attacks as an sorlock eldritch blaster, but still fun as hell.
Oh yeah I think I talked about that in the video, band of the mystic scoundrel is really useful. You can also add 2 levels of Paladin to add divine smite to your flourishes!
I'm new to DnD, so when I was researching classes I specifically wanted to play as a caster that didn't necessarily do a lot of direct damage but could CC, talk his way out of situations, debuff and whatnot. I almost picked bard, but I enjoy cosmic horror. So the Pact of the Tome GOOlock was perfect for me. I kept everyone their original monoclass the first playthrough and I had a ton of fun with it. He'd knock someone off a ledge with EB, hypnotize big groups and misty step away so the other party members could go to town, and at later levels telekinesis and the hold spells just trivialized encounters. It made every encounter fun to strategize, and balanced mode was easy enough that I didn't feel the need to use his concentration for haste much. Also, with all of the deception options in dialogue I was constantly getting Astarion's inspiration. I wish there was more subclass-specific dialogue, but I would play that class again.
Fighter is S-tier for me. Im a sword guy all the way so battle master mixed with warlock for fire magic and pact of the blade for a third attack (though in my case more like 5 attacks) is just peak entertainment for me
Fighter is funny when you play with 20 STR💪🏻 or higher. Throwing people to each other, pushing them from the cliffs, using great weapon master feat to deal good damage, jumping like monkey - very funny. Also, battlemaster have dice ability to push enemy with attack - and you can push very big enemies with it like Steelwatch.
I was considering Gloomstalker 8/Battlemaster 4 so I could refresh superiority die on short rest, disarm, push, trip. Figured I'd go 8 with Ranger so I could have a more Ranger flavored build. Probably not optimized but it seems like a fun fighting style with Bows and dual wield.
Gloomstalker is a great multiclass! I like the sword bard for archery as the slashing flourish with a bow can attack 4x a turn and also cast crowd control as a bonus action with the band of the mystic scoundrel
Hey that’s so cool man! I wonder what some of the biggest changes since then have been. Openhand Monk 9 / rogue thief 3 with tavern brawler and strength potions is the highest damage class Sword bards can flourish smite and can cast crowd control as a bonus action with the Ring of the mystic scoundrel. Very OP
@@JasonDunna Being away from D&D for 40 years and coming back to find there isn't THACO anymore was weird. It was a central game mechanic and now it's gone. Greatly prefer the BG3 version though.
I’m so happy to hear that! The monk is an absolute blast to play. Open hand monk 9 rogue thief 3 is so strong and fun to play. Jump around beating people up
I’m not sure how I do it either my friend, but all I think about is making content for people to enjoy! Thank you, comments like these keep me motivated!
I'm nearing the end of my first playtrough as rogue and I coudn't agree more. At the start of the game it was fun once I figured out how to actually play the game. But later on it's just soooo booring. Any other class seems to have so many options in every situacion then rogue is just hide, sneak attack, hide again. And if you get beaten on initiative you can just get pumeled by a monk (still hurts from the time that happened). Another thing abaut rogues is the fact that you either need to min-max engages or you need to just do stuff that I would consider extremly booring (like that strat where you debuff enemy with some DOT spell by walking away and back million times). I just fail to see that as fun. Fine if you do It's just not for me. And finally rogue feels like a class for someone who has limited imagination then it comes to fighting. In pretty much every situation your goal is get that sneak attack off on enemy for big damage. Then any other class has so many more options. Like if ur playing rogue you just sneak attack and hide again then something like a wizzard can: de-buff enemy, buff an ally, chuck a fireball (I usually go for this option), maybe ur out of spell slots so you go for a spell scroll you picked up. I mean you just feel limited. Now what I really like abaut rogue. Mooooney! You'll never be poor then you play rogue. Save, sell an item to a merchant and then just steal it back. Ur in a place where you can't loot because it's stealing? It's not stealing if your a rogue because you are pretty much invis in your stealth. In fact I started second play trough as a warlock and I was so used to stealing that I keep on trying to steal stuff forgetting it's not going to work with such a low stealth. My reaction litteraly was: "What!? What is happening right now?! Ohhh right you can't actually steal stuff, there's consequences for that..". Specially to a loot goblin like me who leaves every merchant with 0 gold he meats by selling him every little thing he can (it became a personal mission of mine, send help).
You make a lot of grey points! The cool thing about rogue is you have so much more freedom, but it really helps on subsequent playthroughs when you know where everything is
Currently playing a rogue and I hear ya. Yes in combat rogues are one trick ponies with sneak attack and it can be quite boring. Outside of combat is a completely different story! For exploration and RP (if your charisma is high) purposes rogue is definitely an S tier class. You get into places you shouldn't be in, steal things, and talk your way out of trouble (lying, smooth talking, or death threats)
Interesting list, but I disagree with you about rogues. I feel like they're essential to the party, between the stealth, the damage sneak attack can do, and them being skill monkeys with expertise. I don't think you can roll higher than a rogue with expertise on a skill, unless you're a bard with guidance and inspiration. My first playthrough, I went 6 levels shadow monk/6 levels assassin rogue dark urge. So much fun. I would get something like 4-5 attacks on the first turn, with all of them being crits as long as I hit. I was dual wielding shortswords throughout, and going full Dark Urge and getting the slayer form and the cloak made it so that because I was turning invisible every time I killed something, I could use sneak attack and crit and slip in and out of range all I wanted. It was a blast and I'd highly recommend it. :)
I remembered that right after filming!! That legitimately is the most fun class in the game because of all the wacky stuff that happens. I love the ring that increases the wild magic chance
Interesting opinion, especially on the druid 'cause I personally find it the most uninterested class, I just don't clic with it. I'd prefer rogue (which is objectively the weakest and less fun class to play when not multiclassing) just thanks to its proficiences in stealth and deception. My personal favorites (including multiclassing) are Bard and Paladin, especially 2 Paladin and 10 Bard : because you get the main character syndrome from Pal' and the Bard in BG3 is just too fun, in dialogues, in CC and in utilities. It's peak "I'm the face of the party, and I'm fancy doing it too" hahaha. Then sorcerer, overpowered, metamagic is really fun and you get some nice dialogues too sometimes. Clerics. can. do. it. all : buff, heal, big damage, I didn't think they would be that fun, but dude, I had Shadowheart as a full light cleric and she was ripping everyone to shreds everytime it was her turn. I'll probably do a cleric/bard or cleric/sorcerer, have Selune as a deity and have peak dialogue with Shadowheart x). Wizards, and especially the abjuration school, the idea of reflecting hits and killing mobs with their own attack is just too much fun. Dip 1 sorc in the beginning for con proficiency + 1 tempest cleric for armour proficiences and create water = the perfect build for Gale I personally find Battle Master fighters ultra fun because they CC as well as dealing massive damages. In my current run I intend to make Laezel a fighter/war domain cleric. Rogue, hands down the worst solo class but best multiclass. rogue/bard or rogue/ranger or especially rogue/shadow or way of the open hands monk are just insanely powerful and fun Monk is my go to for Karlach. honorable mention for 4 barbarian + 8 monk, quite the interesting approach if you ask me, going around naked and either crushing them with weapons or unarmed strikes. Warlock is ok but I really dislike its spellslot system, however in terms of dipping into it, it's really good, especially for melee classes. Getting eldritch blast, devil's sight, darkness and the pact weapon is SO deadly. Gloomstalker ranger is my go to whenever I want to use the ranger class, the other two didn't interest me that much. Overall I didn't enjoy this class as much as I hoped so... yeah. Druid, don't like it, but I'll try to go with it when I get Jaheira in the team to test the spore haste you talked about. byee
Bard 10 / Paladin 2 is SO good. The best face of the party if you don't play as the sorcerer! Charisma is an awesome stat Cleric is really good, I like the tempest or light cleric the most, and spirit guardians is one of the best spells in the game. Planar Ally at level 11 cleric is hard to give up though, it is seriously so useful 1 Level draconic sorcerer also gives Gale survivability early game in robes which is useful. Luckily the wizard can scribe scrolls so mixing with any full caster is great! Fighters and Rogues have lots of great muticlasses, but the rogue is not great at higher levels compared to other classes. Spore druid is a LOT of fun, treat it like a necromancer, and you can even do 6/6 necromancer wizard and its very strong. Lots of summons and temporary health Thanks for the detailed comment!
Great Video Jay - learned a lot on the various classes. Will try a Monk and Druid next after my current Durge Sorlock run, which is a lot of fun. Did you share Monk and Druid build? I will need to check your channel.
Hey so glad you found it useful! I have guides for both monk and Druid on my channel, I have pretty much covered every subclass by now! If you ever have any questions please let me know!
Sword bard 10 paladin 2 is such an awesome multiclass, it is so strong and if you get the band of the mystic scoundrel you get awesome crowd control as a bonus action!
Beastmaster ranger is very good. One of the safest to solo honour. Too bad it's boring, like dialogue with rangers is straight up like "cool, I can find him, I'm a good tracker". While I do get where they're comming from with it, it could've been better, more broad. Personal favorite, bard. Bard is way too good, people say jack of all trades, master of none, yet it is master of all. It has everything. Melee damage, check. Ranged damage, check. Amazing CC, check. Dialogue, check. Fun factor, check. Insults, check. Play instrument for fun in the middle of the battle, check. Dialogue wise, nothing beats bard. Second place for barbarian, barb dialogue is whacky, intimidating, roar, chug, chug, chug. Fun times. Third place druid. Due to versatility of it. Also aaaamazing tanks with tons of backup HP. Fun fact, contrary to how much I love bards, druids are my most played classes.
Totally fair! Wizard has a lot of utility. Have you used sorcerer? The ability to cast two or even three spells per turn is extremely useful and synergetic!
The most fun I've had playing the game was Figter/cleric multi-class. Though if i had to pick a single class it would be Warlock. Though i feel i should add a note. My group healer is a cleric/bard, and i usually also have a bard/paladin. So my team has access to a lot of short rests which makes the warlocks power curve significantly higher
Team synergy has so much freedom in BG3! A warlock can become really strong if you short rest often. I did Paladin/warlock my first play through and 3 attacks at level 10 is pretty sweet (doesn’t work on honor mode) Bard 10 Paladin 2 also goes so hard
Looks great, but would change Cleric with Monk. Cleric can almost do it all like a Bard, except the Cleric is not as great with dialogue + skill checks/ dice rolls compared to a Bard.
Cleric is definitely an S tier class. It's the class everyone wants but yet nobody wants to play. Go githyanki knowledge domain and you will be a skill monkey cleric 😁
I think it would've helped to clarify what you meant by "fun". It seems to me that fun was more centered towards the battles and tactics here, but some prefer the interactions with the world and roleplaying.
I feel the same way. Definitely should have had separate rankings for fun. Yes the fighter might not be the most enjoyable role play and exploration class but in combat they are absolute S tier beings. Rogues may feel weak or limited in combat but outside of combat is the true fun for rogues. Overall I did enjoy the video and hearing the feedback
@@Druid4099 oh really eh? About to start BG3 soon and was looking for a fun class. Didn't think of Rogue until now - was mainly debating between the classes high in charisma.
Im, started aš aš a Druid because I want to play aš a cat (can you blame me? Come on). And on level 5 I transfer Ed to Monk. Monk diallgues are just avsolutely crazy. Avsolutely savage. Its Luke Brice Lee in bg3.
The monk is a really fun class, 9 levels of open hand monk with 3 levels of rogue thief is a top 3 build in the game! Druid is also a lot of fun, but you get two druid companions
Oh yeah very true! Vengeance Paladin was my first playthrough. An extra fun multiclass is 2 levels paladin for the smites, and 10 levels of sword bard, you can flourish and smite two people at once! It also gives you much higher spell levels for stronger smites, and you can get Banishing Smite at level 10 bard!
@@JasonDunna Last tactician playthrough I went with 3 Paladins and one Sorcerer. The Netherbrain stood no chance. Karlach, My Durge and Minthara as Paladins and Shadowheart as Sorcerer.
Uhhhg So conflicted. I really like my main two characters (Tav & Romance) wearing matching adamantine armor, but that often shoehorns me into certain builds. Kinda want to play with Druid & Monk, but can't see those two builds really benefiting from those armor sets.
Yeah Druid loses armor benefits in wildshape, but you can dip a level of cleric and run a spore Druid!! Monk benefits from their wisdom modifier and clothing so yeah not a big armor user
Storm sorcerer or Draconic are so much fun. I can’t play without one since twinned haste is so good. Lightning and cold damage is also so powerful! What’s your bard / wizard build like?
@@JasonDunnait’s a swords bard, 4 wiz for scribe and 7 flexible slots. Otto’s irresistible can be scribed so that covers that. Headband of intellect of course. Three feats so a CHA improvement then dual wielding and sharpshooter. I think people sleep on the Band of the Mystic Scoundrel being not just a bonus cast of enchantment but Illusion as well. Being able to mirror image, greater invis etc on the end of the turn is super powerful. Extremely flexible build, could probably solo with this one
@@ecbrown6151 Greater invisibility is a really powerful spell, you could definitely solo with that build I think! Ill have to give something like that a try, Thanks for the detailed comment!
@@JasonDunna my pleasure, should be noted that you get summons too like this, level 6 summon and either free cast with illithid power or spell restoration item
In games, I like going round collecting everything, milking the game fully, but that also includes fun combat and role play, what build would be best for this?
Together they are pretty great! I had Astarion as a gloomstalker / rogue thief and a splash of fighter and it was good, but that’s three classes. Level 12 rogue is kinda boring in comparison
Huh, I had a blast on my strength ranger which can either go into hunter to spin to win at end game, slaughtering groups of enemies with a blood lust potion, or beast master to provide crazy combat flexibility. That, and you get all the spells to do the crazy jumping, as well as are resistant to a silly amount of things. Its all pretty nuts.
Ranger is still fun! Level 11 is where the hunter and beast master come online so it’s less enjoyable earlier in the game unless you multiclass gloomstalker and add in rogue. I still think the Ranger is a great class, I just prefer playing as a Minsc Ranger with Boo 😂
berserker barbarian with tavern brawler is fun.. I pick every weapon i found on the ground and just throw it to ppl.. ohh yeahh.. throwing a dude into another dude is fun too
I was going to put an edit in and say that throwserker is S tier 😂 it’s fun throwing enemies off a cliff, although any class can hypothetically do that with strength potions
@@JasonDunnaI was hoping to see barbarian higher up in this list. With the returning pike from grat the trader in act one and nyrulna from the genie in act 3, barbarian is an absolute blast to play. The first character I made was a sorcerer but I've only finished one playthrough so far and it was on my barbarian. I tried paladin and found it completely boring.
I really don't get why sorcs are always rated so high. I tried to play as one twice, hoped that it would be fun. But they turned out to be rather disappointing. Each time I just respeced to wiz in Act 2, because they are definetly way more versatile and powerful. Give them just one cleric level and you'll have a magic tank. The only place where sorc wins is charisma based dialogs... but who needs charisma when you have a fireball
Draconic sorcerer can add their charisma modifier to the damage of their spells, so a fire one can add +6 damage to each scorching ray, or multiple people in a fireball! It’ll out damage a wizard. But quickened spell is the best sorcerer feature, being able to cast 2 fireballs in a turn, or 3 if you have haste!
Yeah with some play styles the barbarian is a total blast I could’ve moved it up a bit. I like the throwzerker myself but all the subclasses are pretty cool
I’m glad you enjoyed! The best part about BG3 is the fun is subjective! All the classes are honestly great. They can all do melee or ranged damage too with the right build. There’s something satisfying about opening combat with create water and then dropping a couple chain lightnings and cone of colds though! But that may not be someone’s preferred playstyle
Top of the A tier, could jump up to S tier depending on team composition! They’re a great damage class despite most people using them for utility and healing
Drow has the best dialogue options I think! The druegar and halflings too but I’ll never roll on I don’t think. Wood elves and high elves get decent dialogue too! Best classes for dialogue would easily be bard! Then sorcerer or barbarian. Any magic class has decent dialogue I find!
Agreed. They’re the best martial class but they are very basic. I prefer having a warlock/fighter or warlock/paladin with 3 attacks and spells over a dedicated 12 level fighter
Unless you mix them. My Thief 7/Champ 5 crit build outfights a BM Fighter even at level 12. So does my OH Monk. And that's consistant damage with no shenanigans.
Problem with monk and bard is that they both have limited resources per battle. Without ki/bard points, the class is kinda useless. That's not the case with fighter. Even without battle master points, a fighter still attacks more times than everybody else. The extra, extra attack costs nothing, and also benefits from action surge, and Haste or Speed Potion.
Yeah the battle master fighter has their maneuvers and the eldritch knight has limited spell slots so same argument can be made, but yeah 3 attacks is great! Just not as exciting as other classes
Gloom stalker Ranger is pretty fun but its later levels aren’t as stronger as the other Ranger subclasses and even then it’s outclassed by bard in a lot of ways. Not saying the Ranger is bad though!
Stopped watching the moment you said Sorcerer was the most fun to play. Compared to other casters I've tried I HATED the Sorcerer, it has so many weaknesses compared to others. You obviously don't have the same standards.
@@Kiljaedenas weaknesses how so? Draconic has built in mage armor and extra health, and the storm sorcerer can fly as a bonus action. I’m curious how you think they’re weak when the fan base regards it as a top 3 class?
@@JasonDunna FAR more limited spell selection, Draconic can't hit like a Storm Sorcerer, the Storm Sorcerer dies if you sneeze at it and only starts getting semi-OK at hitting all the way at level 6 (some other casters are death machines as early as level 2), getting flight access is a complete non-issue, and several key Metamagics were nerfed compared to DnD5e. Late-game it can be more viable, but that's LATE GAME. You have to survive that long first.

Temp cleric 2 storm sorcerer 10 is better
I am doing a moondruid run I swear to god is so fun to jump around with the owlbear
Everything about the Druid is fun! Land Moon or Spore are all very powerful with lots of great options. Moon Druid is the best tank in the game I personally think, and it has crowd control and summons. Incredible class
moon druid with open hand monk is quite good. Unarmed/unarmored bonus apply to wild shapes. I did a 6/6 build my first playthrough.
@@theKonfusion Im going to try it right now
@@theKonfusion unarmored defense worked for you in wild shape? I can’t get it to increase the armor class while wild shaped
My first character was an antisocial moon druid it was great
Wild magic barb once did enlarge/reduce randomly on 5 allies and enemies around Karlach in the wizard shop fight. Was funny.
Hahahaha that’s hilarious. The wild magic sorcerer and barbarian are awesome! Hate turning into cats in an important battle though
I beat honour mode as a moon druid with 2 other friends. In Act 3 i just strictly used the earth elemental summon and earth elemental form. The class kept me alive through most things when i should’ve been dead.
Earth elemental with tavern brawler hits so hard. Love it!
I did a thief sorcerer...... All I have to say is not 1, not 2, BUT 3 FIREBALLS!!!!!
Hahahah it’s an interesting multiclass but nothing beats a triple fireball!
Im a sword guy all the way so battle master mixed with warlock for fire magic and pact of the blade for a third attack (though in my case more like 5 attacks) is just peak entertainment for me
Battle master fighter is a lot of fun. Riposte and menacing attack is awesome
@@JasonDunna Eldrich Knight is the best Subclass
Fighter is funny when you play with 20 STR💪🏻 or higher.
Throwing people to each other, pushing them from the cliffs, using great weapon master feat to deal good damage, jumping like monkey - very funny.
Also, battlemaster have dice ability to push enemy with attack - and you can push very big enemies with it like Steelwatch.
Battle master is a ton of fun. Love trip attack and pushing attack. Throwing people is funny too
I was considering Gloomstalker 8/Battlemaster 4 so I could refresh superiority die on short rest, disarm, push, trip.
I played D&D back in the '80's. Monks and bards were extremely lame. But in BG3 they're both great.
Hey that’s so cool man! I wonder what some of the biggest changes since then have been.
Openhand Monk 9 / rogue thief 3 with tavern brawler and strength potions is the highest damage class
Sword bards can flourish smite and can cast crowd control as a bonus action with the Ring of the mystic scoundrel. Very OP
@@JasonDunna Being away from D&D for 40 years and coming back to find there isn't THACO anymore was weird. It was a central game mechanic and now it's gone. Greatly prefer the BG3 version though.
Really enjoyed this video, man. You helped me pick my new save's class. Monk.
I’m so happy to hear that! The monk is an absolute blast to play. Open hand monk 9 rogue thief 3 is so strong and fun to play. Jump around beating people up
@@JasonDunna that's how I'll go - do I get to Monk 9 before Rogue, or do I go into Rogue a touch earlier?
Go monk up to 5 and then you can add rogue, or wait until level 9
Pure champion. There is no end to the variety of your gameplay.
That’s true, I like eldritch knight and battle master a bit more since they get some extra actions to utilize
i dont know how you're able to put out so many videos each day but just wanted to say the content is very much enjoyable and appreciated! 👍
I’m not sure how I do it either my friend, but all I think about is making content for people to enjoy! Thank you, comments like these keep me motivated!
Cocaine!
You were talking about sorcerer being the most fun class in the game and didn’t even mention wild magic 😂😂
Dip 1 sorc in the beginning for con proficiency + 1 tempest cleric for armour proficiences and create water = the perfect build for Gale
I personally find Battle Master fighters ultra fun because they CC as well as dealing massive damages. In my current run I intend to make Laezel a fighter/war domain cleric.
Rogue, hands down the worst solo class but best multiclass. rogue/bard or rogue/ranger or especially rogue/shadow or way of the open hands monk are just insanely powerful and fun
Monk is my go to for Karlach. honorable mention for 4 barbarian + 8 monk, quite the interesting approach if you ask me, going around naked and either crushing them with weapons or unarmed strikes.
Charisma is an awesome stat
Cleric is really good, I like the tempest or light cleric the most, and spirit guardians is one of the best spells in the game. Planar Ally at level 11 cleric is hard to give up though, it is seriously so useful
1 Level draconic sorcerer also gives Gale survivability early game in robes which is useful.
Lots of summons and temporary health
Thanks for the detailed comment!
Everyone hates on the beast master, i think archers are fun its just too bad most of the pets get stuck minus the birds
Beast master isn’t bad, I have Minsc as that right now! The Druid just ends up feeling like a better version of the beast master
my first full playthrough on full release was swordsbard oathbreaker. No regrets...So much fun!
Fun fact, contrary to how much I love bards, druids are my most played classes.
for me, wizard and druid are the most fun...... cleric, warlock and ranger comes in second
I did Paladin/warlock my first play through and 3 attacks at level 10 is pretty sweet (doesn’t work on honor mode)
Bard 10 Paladin 2 also goes so hard
Looks great, but would change Cleric with Monk. Cleric can almost do it all like a Bard, except the Cleric is not as great with dialogue + skill checks/ dice rolls compared to a Bard.
Thank you! Yeah clerics and bards are both phenomenal
Fun in general so yeah battles and tactics but also dialogue options and interactions
5 ranger 5 rogue 2 fighter is my favourite class (other than tempest sorceror)
Nothing comes close to late game Vengeance Paladin in my opinion.
Vow of Enmity and Smites are just broken with Great Weapon Master
Oh yeah very true! Vengeance Paladin was my first playthrough. An extra fun multiclass is 2 levels paladin for the smites, and 10 levels of sword bard, you can flourish and smite two people at once! It also gives you much higher spell levels for stronger smites, and you can get Banishing Smite at level 10 bard!

@JasonDunna Thank you!
Nah. I played a dual hand crossbow ranger rogue mult class for my first playthrough. Total blast.
Together they are pretty great! I had Astarion as a gloomstalker / rogue thief and a splash of fighter and it was good, but that’s three classes. Level 12 rogue is kinda boring in comparison
I personally think Battlemaster fighter is the most fun
Battlemaster is an awesome class. Strong and has good crowd control
@@JasonDunna its true but serker is most fun because you can throw for 2 times in 1 turn

Literally my same tier list, Sorcerer and Bard are the most fun to play but the barbarian i would've set him in A, but it's my opinion ^^
Yeah with some play styles the barbarian is a total blast I could’ve moved it up a bit. I like the throwzerker myself but all the subclasses are pretty cool
Monk. Plus every class that cannot rest on short rest is tiring.
These kinda lists are fun. ^^
Big disagree though. Melee for life. Casters are bottom tier fun. And rangers are underrated fun-wise.
Bro, were you born in Ireland but then moved to America early in life or something? I can hear some of that accent popping up here and there. lol
@@影沼 that’s funny my great great grandparents were Irish! I live in Canada and the place I live is very much like Ireland. Too funny

Top of the A tier, could jump up to S tier depending on team composition! They’re a great damage class despite most people using them for utility and healing
what are the top 5 best Race/class for dialogue options😊

Drow has the best dialogue options I think! The druegar and halflings too but I’ll never roll on I don’t think. Wood elves and high elves get decent dialogue too!
Best classes for dialogue would easily be bard! Then sorcerer or barbarian. Any magic class has decent dialogue I find!
@@JasonDunna oathbreaker/archfey warlock is pretty interesting combo or monk 6/nature or light cleric 6 is fantastic too
Warlocks ? They'r fun is just repeat the same spell over and over for the remaining of the campaing
Yeah I prefer going sorcerer or wizard since they have so many more spells at their disposal
No f tier says a lot bout the game
Right? Such a masterpiece
I find fighters so boring, but when you see the damage they ditch... i always need 1 companion with it. its too strong haha
@@barbreyc interesting what does your rogue fighter build look like?
Problem with monk and bard is that they both have limited resources per battle. Without ki/bard points, the class is kinda useless. That's not the case with fighter. Even without battle master points, a fighter still attacks more times than everybody else. The extra, extra attack costs nothing, and also benefits from action surge, and Haste or Speed Potion.
Yeah the battle master fighter has their maneuvers and the eldritch knight has limited spell slots so same argument can be made, but yeah 3 attacks is great! Just not as exciting as other classes
barb gameplay is mid but their gigachad dialogue options are ez s tier frfr
Hahaha totally agree, some of the options are so ridiculous too
Monk was boring af
Really?? Jumping around and punching mindlfayers in the face was boring

@@Kiljaedenas not to mention sorcerers can cast 3 spells per turn, and twin haste to 2 people. No other caster can do that, they’re very strong!
