Just to let everyone know if they are curious, it works on a 2012 SE AWC US SPEC. Also there is no need to replace the bottom cover for the steering column, it actually has lines in the inside of the cover if you would like to just modify the original cover yourself. Thanks for posting this video man! Very helpful!
@@OGRCO I wonder what’s wrong with mine then. I plugged in the paddles such as shown in the video and I can’t get them to work. Do you have the Drive/Low shifter?

Thank you man, I'm still waiting on my lower trim piece to come in and I'm happy to see that it's not as hard to install as I thought it'd be. Looking forward to putting the paddles in soon:)
It's it's a small plug that's hanging there, it should be for the shifters but I'm not so sure since it's a different colour wires. Mine is a 2011 lancer, I don't know if they have different colour wires for the newer lancer

Wonder if this works with the 2016-2017 CF model as they’re different enough compared to the 08-15 CJ Lancers to where certain parts would no longer work.

Just a tip. Before taking off the steering wheel, put a mark using a marking pen so when putting it back, the steering is properly aligned.

Amazing video my dude, definitely gotta do this after installing my turbo in my ES.
Nice!!
Is it safe to add a turbo? I have a Lancer SEL 2017

Im gonna try it see if it does or not.
Does this work on 2017 lancer se
Is there a port for cvt transmission? I have 2009 ES CVT
Hey man I have a 2017 SEL and I'm interested in doing this to it. I see your airbag maintenance light was on. Is that because of the paddle shifters?
No. It was from the seat i swap out
Will this work with Lancer EX 1.6 MX 2013
Hey man, thanks for posting the video. I was wondering what size screws you used for the bottom holes on the mount? Are they Also 10×3/4?
Have you tried swapping the Floor Shift gear selector assembly from a GTS to get the + / - gears?
Nope

My paddles won’t down shift. any idea why?
nvm one of my cables was cut(: i’m assuming that’s why i can’t downshift
I have a 2015 lancer SE do you think it would work with that?
It could work. Check if your transmission is a CVT, if it is than you’ll have a plug behind the steering wheel.
Just checked and I have the plug. Thank you so much for the tutorial.
Your car is cvt or normal automatic ?????
It’s a cvt

Wondering that myself as well did you figure it out?
The wires that are on the shifter are blue, green and yellow. The other wires that come with the car are black, white and blue
do they even work? if they do how can i use them?
they do work. i included it in the video and how to use it
Where can I buy it? Is there a link online? right wheel.Right rudder.
You can sometimes find them eBay. www.ebay.ca/itm/184646392885
How do you engage the shifters since there isn’t a gear setting for it. Does it automatically do it?
just be in drive and press on the shifter and it"ll select a gear for you on fast you are going
