The throttle body has a brass air bypass adjustment screw that can be used for tick over adjustment. Using it does not put the TPS out of calibration,. It works the same as the Monty FI adjuster, CCW (turn out) to raise engine speed. I have found on my 2023 250 it has a lesser effective range than on my Montesa. I set it to 1400 rpm, up from 1200 as delivered, I have yet to foul a single BPMR6A plug while burning Canadian Chevron 94 Non Ethanol.
Good evening, love the video as I own a 250 JBR myself, do you know where I could obtain some half dome plugs to protect my frame as in your review? Cheers Kev
Hi Kev The JBR is a fantastic looking bike & I love my 225cc bike. These are the one’s I got for my frame,25mm ones & they just tap in with a rubber mallet. Hope this helps cheers www.ebay.co.uk/itm/155004263407?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=7mzay4pntzc&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=skbxnNDDSn2&var=455170188344&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
I don’t have the plug code to hand but it has a 6standard I put in a 4. I am going to put a scott oiler adapter in the air box with a short length of pipe going into front of bash plate
Standard is a 6 but I run a 4 that allows it to run a bit hotter to burn off the fuel as it was running a tad rich. My running issue went away so it must of helped
Thanks for yout TIPS in my channel I have more about Vertigo! Greats from Toledo (Spain)
