Swami Dayananda Ashram, Rishikesh is famous as aspiritual hub, was established during the 1960s by Swami Dayananda Saraswati, who is a globally renowned teacher of Vedanta and foremost scholar of Sanskrit. The Ashram is situated on the banks of the Holy Ganga, in an exclusive location, but not far from the airport and rail stations. Dehradun Airport is situated 21 Kms away from the ashram while Rail Station is 3 Kms away.
In addition, throughout the year, regular retreats take place on Vedanta, Yoga and other subjects by Arsha Vidya Teachers who bring their students for specified periods and conduct classes.

my father - a strong german soldier(WW2), my mother a very devoted catholic. so I would say I had a very good start . full of useful german traditions. when I was 16 I became independent, organising my education. when I was 20 I found the yoga, when I was 24 I first time visited india. became connected with pondicherry/auroville. coming and going for decades. living an east-west life. taking the advatages of education in india and in germany. always feeling that I should not too much plunge into ambitions. so I became a gardenmaker, floristmaster with my own little company. in winter in india, in summer in germany. some little money, freedom, inner progress. I could touch the feet of swamiji in great respect if I would meet him. I would say my gurus are sri aurobindo and the divine mother. that also means to be in life. I am even in a political party since some years to work for germany. and progress is going on and on. I am happy about what I could do/or not do in this life. and I am very grateful to mother india for that what she gave to me.

The goal of all the sastras is to seek out Krishna. The final sastra written by Acarya Ved Vyas, a commentary on all the Vedas, is the Srimad Bhagavatam, which is the mature fruit of all the sastras. In this he gives the activities of God and His pure devotees. Then finally he concludes that Krishna is the cause of all the causes, the Adi Purusa.

Swami Dayanand Saraswati is a deciple of Swami Chinmayanand and a guru of Prime minister Modi. Good information madam. I would say teach some verses of Vedas to your children. If not then let them learn some stanga of Bhojogavinda stotram and Shivastakm and first 5-stanza of Vivek Chudamani written by Jagatguru Adi Shankaracharya. But Bhagwat Gita is a summary of all vedas and vedanta. Being a parents it is also responsible to all the parents to make aware their children about our ancient Indian Philosophy. Vedas and vedanta tells about the purpose of human life and freedom from birth and death. In the present time I have analysed many saints who are supposed to export in Vedas and vedanta is late jagatguru shri kripalu Maharaj, I am not his deciple. I was in Uttarakhand (in IIT Roorkee) but at that time I didn't have knowledge about Swami Dayanand Saraswati. You are really doing good job but a big applause to the man who is behind you.👍👍.
