My cat tells me when it’s time to go to bed. She sits and watch me as I’m brushing my teeth and doing my skin care. She waits until I’m in my bed before she jumps up on the bed. She gets her belly rub for 1 h, when she’s satisfied she jumps down from the bed and sleeps somewhere else.💕
My cat used to hate sleeping with me especially if i tried to "force" him. I stoped pushing him to do what i want and instead i let him do whatever he feels he wants to do and i have also started feeding him(not just my family members). Well guess what, he now wants to sleep in my bed 24/7. We have reached the point where i sleep, he comes outside the door room and starts scratching the door and i immediately wake up to let him in. LOVE HIM SO MUCH
I had a cat named Marie and she insisted on sleeping with me. She even had her own routine that she must follow and I as well. I had to lay down on the bed and she'd knead my stomach like mochi and then she'd plop down on my chest for a while to warm up before snuggling next to me in her favorite cardboard box. She used to sleep on me and then I realized it was her sense of smell that made her sleep on me. So I took a work shirt that I didn't wash after work, stuck it in the box, and she was right at home. When I first got her she didn't like anyone in the house, as she was a rescue that was mistreated. She couldn't meow and could only let out a whisper. She whisper meowed at me and I whispered back and we had a great conversation and I was her human after that.
My family also had a mute kitty growing up (he's still around just lives with my mom in my hometown so i don't see him often), he likes to have whisper meow conversations too. I'm not sure what causes the issue, but in our cats case i think he was born with it bc we adopted him when he was around 4 months and had it even back then. he doesnt audibly purr either but you can still feel when he does. Hes so sweet, loves meeting new people and immediately getting on their lap never scratched or bitten anyone in his life Honestly, your cat is the only other case of a mute cat I've heard of personally, i could never find much info on it. But the vet never noticed an issue and he never seemed in pain, so i assume its all good, hopefully the same for Marie
Oh what I wouldn't give to have my cat Gracie whisper. She constantly hollers loudly and doesn't quit, like all day noise. I had to eventually close my bedroom door to get any sleep myself. 😂 But I did have other cats that slept with me so nicely, cuddling and usually spending most of the nite at bend at back of my knees since I side sleep. But those were all males, it's the females that are crazy 🤪. Always best are male cats and female dogs. This is from someone who is 72 now, worked for vets for 8 years, then had my own business grooming and training dogs and some cats.
My Odin would lay on my arm til I fell asleep then go his corner of the bed, waking and good morning to him, then he knew breakfast was coming, Loki preferred the living room couch.
@@davidblakeschannel2544 no, after I broke up with my ex (who had half ownership of my cat) I moved and couldn't ha e pets so she took my cat and and I haven't seen her since. It's been a few years so idek if my cat is ok or not.
My elder cat became blind and deaf too near the end but she knew the layout of the house perfectly and navigated through the rooms a bit slower than usual, but she still went wherever she needed to.
My cat sleeps with me every night and stays in my bed all day, along with my two other cats. I love these animals, and they don’t deserve to be disliked, because they’re so cute! ❤
The real reasons are actually 1 and 5. Can confirm, after my elderly cat passed away I got a Maine Coon kitten, and first we lived in a house and he was getting used to things. Soon after we moved to a flat and he wouldnt sleep on a bed with me for whole 3 months, and I would never move him or force him. I just kept wainting. Can absolutely not explain the quiet joy I felt the morning I woke up with him snuggled against my side. I was late to work that day. And even though I kick in my sleep, hes always there when I wake up😊
Dude i don't even close my door if rare occasion one wants in he first yowls constantly from my loft stairwell then hops in upon hearing me sleepily react
my late cat used to be my little spoon. every night i would lift up my blanket and he would tunnel down to my knees, make a U-turn, and then come back up and flop hard against my chest. its been three years since he passed away and sleeping still isnt the same without him 😢
Mine does the exact same thing. I dread the day where I won’t have my cuddle bug do that anymore 😭 He also has to lay his head on my pillow too, just like a human.
I’m a “loud side sleeper”, but so is my cat. He sleeps curled up with his back to my chest. He likes being tucked under the blankets with me as well. He’s been doing this for 13yrs now, so if he decides not to, I know something might be wrong. 🐾❤️🐾
my kitten will lay close to me but doesn't come up close to my chest of arms or legs(i'm a very restless sleeper)...although he will get on my chest and start purring DEEPLY when I start having night terrors(I also talk in my sleep and occasionally yell) and he seems to do that to calm me down(i've noticed since I got him I wake up less tired than I used to although I do wake up more from his crackhead time at like 3am rofl)
When I had to replace my pillow, I bought a king sized one just because my cat likes to sleep on the same pillow that I do _while_ I’m sleeping on it. 😂

We're owned by seven. One sleeps with our grandkid, two sleep with my better half, two sleep with me, and the last two kinda rotate their affections. They're all very social, with each other and with their staff. Sweet little creatures. 💕
@@IvyDoggins The eldest was one of a six kitten litter from a TNR cat who was too far along to be spayed. The rescuers, our friends, raised all six and needed to rehome them. He chose us. The next was a local feral, a barely weaned runt, abandoned by his mother. We could not ignore him. We nursed him to health and the elder kitties adopted him. The next two were local ferals, just past kittenhood. The boy found our front door, we fed him, he promptly brought his sister. We started TNR with them, but the older boys insisted that they come in and join the pride. The next two were recently weaned ferals that a friend of a friend rescued and tended. One went to his friend, two went to my better half's boss, and we got the last two; no one else stepped up. The last and youngest was another barely weaned feral who found our front door and begged his way in. We believe that Bast herself marked our door as a sanctuary. 😁 (We've done six other TNRs over the years who found their own paths.)
Funnily enough, my cat loves to sleep under the covers with me. He'll climb up and nose around by my face until I open it up for him, then in he goes! I'm sure it's mostly for warmth, but I love it!
My cats do that too. I woke up this morning to one of them asking to get under the covers and we snuggled for a good half-hour. The other will get under the covers and use them like an actual human would 😂.
My mom had several cats growing up; today we’ll talk about Midnight. Midnight usually kept to herself throughout her life, and would sleep in a regular cat bed during the night. However, one time she decided to crawl into my mom’s room to sleep next to her. My mom found this adorable, and fell asleep with Midnight curled into her side. The next morning when my mom woke up, Midnight wasn’t breathing anymore, and she had to bare the news to the rest of the family. We’ve always seen this as her final goodbye, but this really proves how otherworldly the cat brain is.
You know, Cats usually find a place to die cause they know its going to happen. Some, While uncommon try to spend their last days with their owners. Becoming more friendly and such. I'd say Midnight loved your mother a lot.
My Bennie was a gift from someone who could no longer care for her. At first, she was more timid and would sleep alone, but as she got to know us, she quickly became very cuddly and chatty. She's a great girl, it just took time to get to know us and feel like she could trust us.
My cat sleeps next to me like he’s my chosen husband. The way he STRETCHES out his body to mold to mine cracks me up when I find him there when I wake up! Under the covers with me and everything with his head on the pillow too!!!!!😂😂😂❤❤
I don’t even pick up my cat unless I need to Like a loud vacuum or a storm She is at my feet in bed right now Cutest cat ever Small for her breed and age
My cat that I grew up with almost always sleeps with me. He gets upset if I leave the house for too long. He seems to have gotten even more attached to me lately. If I'm out of the room for too long he normally comes and finds me in the different room to be near me. He's on me right now. He's an 11 year old ginger and his name is Buster. He's my baby. 💖
I start snoring in the middle of the night. My two cats tolerate it for about 5 or 10 minutes and then they start hitting me in the head and screaming in my ears to wake me up. I recorded this. 😂😂😂😂😂😂
My little tabby brother only snuggles up to me for some zzz's if he feels unwell. But that makes me feel more loved than if he always sleeps next to me. This way it proves he trusts me enough to be with me while he's vulnerable.
My little bugger would sometimes sleep between my legs and nestle in to keep warm. Shoot sometimes I wake up and he's already sleeping in between my legs knocked out. I love waking up to him just sleeping there, it always brightens my morning just seeing him all cuddled up and cute. Love that little rascal
i know right, the other day i woke up to my cat in between my arms and it was so precious that i had to stay in bed a little longer to cherish the moment
@@rigby9145I'm the same. If I wake up and one or both of my cats are sleeping, I'll just lay there....until it's their breakfast time, then I don't feel MOM GUILT for waking them up. 😂❤
My cat Ollie who was paralyzed passed away 3 weeks ago he loved sleeping next to me, when I would toss and turn I would change his sleeping spot next to mine so we could cuddle and he would fall right back to sleep. Sometimes he wanted freedom to play with the other cats and I would let him but when I'd wake up he was cuddled up right next to me it's been lonely since he left I will never be the same🥺 miss you Ollie we will meet again!
Mine doesn’t, but I know I move around a lot when I sleep-I have also been told that I snore. Depending on my stage of sleep, I may react violently if I’m woken up unexpectedly.
Mine is a British Shorthair and she’s literally obsessed sleeping on my shoulder. I just get on my bed and she comes too. I think the main reason is that we’ve been doing it sinse she was a little baby, so she’s used to it.❤
I'm honored that my cat actually likes to share a bed with me, and would scream his lungs out for me to let him in. He is that kind of a cat that literally hates everything and everyone, everything pisses him off, and if he trusts you enough, he will let you only touch his forehead (even I can't pet him anywhere else). But I'm glad that as a little kid I always respected his boundries, and backed off when he wanted me to. This way he always liked to sleep next to me, sat on my lap when I studied, walked with me to the bus station and only left back home when I entered the bus. I love him so much, and it's really a shame I couldn't take him with me when I moved out, but he still likes to share the bed when I visit my families house ❤
Alice is super independent, but in a 'I choose when attention happens, not you' kind of way. She'll lay by you in bed, but don't you dare move her, or give too much love, or put the blanket over her lower half, or anything disruptive she disapproves of. She'll leave the moment she's too fed up. Her sister puts up with it and even adores the extra affection to an extent, and her brother is a big baby who intentionally burrows under blankets or begs to hide in your room, hah. Always love how different they all can be ^^
Kitty is exactly the same. I call it the "tortitude"...but she sleeps on the floor beside our bed though. Always been like that since she was a wee baby...lol
When I went to the the shelter 13 months ago, this kitten cried to come with me. So I chose him even though I wanted a ginger. Once he got home he's as you said "I choose when attention happens" also WHERE. He'll climb his scratch pole and shout at me to come pet him
My cat had no problem sleeping with me. He even tucked himself under the covers, popped his head on the pillow mimicking me. I awoke one morning to see his wee face snoozing on my pillow in front of me. I lifted the covers, and he was stretched all the way under the covers. How he did that is beyond me. He also didn’t awaken for the alarm clock. I had to get out over him as the bed was against the wall. I put the covers back over his lordship of course. I had a shower, came back, and he was snoozing still. As soon as I was downstairs in the kitchen getting my lunch ready to take for work, he appeared. He probably went back to snooze after I’d fed him his breakfast. He was a crazy wee character. I do miss him an awful lot. He’s been gone over thirty years, but he was such a lovable creature. He certainly ruled the house. ❤
My cat Millie loves to snuggle with me under the blankets. If I am using a blanket she will always paw at it until I lift it up, making a little tent for her to go in. She'll spin around and then lay down next to me, usually wanting me to let her sleep with my arm supporting her, like wrapping it around a warm fuzzy teddy bear 😊💕
I lock my cats out of my bedroom at night so I can get a restful night sleep. They used to claw and cry at the door for hours but they've since learned that I'll eventually come out. 💀
My cat used to hug me and sleep all night with me or my mom and he really didn't care if my bed was messy or if I moved too much he hugged me until I waked up, I really miss him.
I go to bed but my cat manages to sneak into my room and snuggles under the blanket in a position where she lays like a human but has her arm under me and pokes me so i get woken up and just shuffle a bit to not bother her and my other cat will just jump on me cus she loves attention and me being a 13 year old and the cats favourite ( cus I always feed them ) i love the attention 2 🥰
My cat is always glued to me in bed lol and I’ve been away from home for 2 weeks and realised I now struggle to sleep without him 😅 even if I roll over he will just get up and settle back down right in front of me haha
I had an old cat who recently passed away due to old age. I loved her dearly. She used to follow me EVERYWHERE. She always slept with me and sat next to me, as well. One time she went outside, and sat by the door the ENTIRE time until I came. (We have no fences, so i felt it was amazing that she trusted me so much) About 5 months after she passed, my parents adopted a kitten. (hes still about 3 months old as of now) It took a whole week to bond with him, but hes such a sweetheart and I honestly see the resemblance between the two. Only problem? He loves to cuddle me in the middle of the day (When im trying to get stuff done or have to take a piss), and at night he does his own thing such as chasing the other two cats we have around the entire house.
@@Sugar-hr9il Absolutely not true, the common picture of witches with black cats started during the black plague. Women who didn't get the plague were often accused of being witches but it was just that their cat companion would take care of the rats that caused the plague. If dogs are mans best friend the cats are women's best friend.
Every cat that I took care of will sleep next to me or above my tummy. As soon as they realize that I won't harm them they eventually became cuddly and chatty they also demand petting too. Which made my heart warm since they kind of trust at some point.
Sometimes, I bring my cut up to bed with me. She sometimes stays and sometimes doesn't, but I don't care. If she jumps off, I let her. Most of the time, it depends on what temperature it is. If it's cold, she might want to stay for extra warmth. But if she chooses to stay for a while, she will come on her own, which i love! 😊
Is the cat young? Maybe he will grow out of that phase and start relaxing at night. I trained my cats to be on my schedule of 7:30am awake time, 11:00pm sleep time. My cat doesn’t even meow after 11pm unless something is bothering her like a fly in the room.
I nap with my kitty too. Usually around 5-6pm we both feel drained and enjoy a nap. She knows when I’m tired from work and traveling in heavy traffic. She still has those kitten zoomies too though. I hate it. But as she’s getting out of kittenhood, she’s calming down ❤.
@@amirahal-wehbi Woah! Seems like you and your cat share a very nice bond! I'm happy for you. And yes my kitten is still quite young ( Four months old ). I would be very happy if you can help me by sharing how you trained your cat to sleep according to your schedule. 💙 😺
@@TheSecretCat648 Yes of course! Mine is 4 months old too. Almost 5. Now, this might be hard for you but I promise it gets easier with time and consistency. I sleep at same time mon to fri. I start to turn down the lights an hour before bed. That’s when my kitty lets out her last bits of zoomies. I don’t let her eat at night. Only water. At bedtime all lights go out and I keep the home silent. For the first month, I put her in my bathroom at night with lights off for bed. (I told you it is hard!) She would cry, I would go hold her for a little, then put her back on her bed in my bathroom (I have a medium sized bathroom). Then I’d go back to my bed and sleep. The first 2 weeks she hated it, but I was forcing her to learn what times of day are for play and what times are for quiet and sleep. Now, I don’t need to keep her in the bathroom at night. When she sees the lights go out, she gets tired too. Like me. Now we have the same schedule. But from my experience, when I used to let her run around the house all night, she thought it was play time at night! Then I couldn’t get any sleep. It was no good. You have to get her to be still (at least semi still) at night. You can’t hold a cat down lol, so a confined space at night, and don’t forget to turn off all lights for her so she recognizes darkness as sleep time. It’s hard, but if you work or need to wake up early, you must get your kitty on your human sleep schedule. ♥️♥️♥️♥️

My cat have the same name as yours❤ so cute
❤❤❤ Good job 😂 Lovely, God Bless you
My family also had a mute kitty growing up (he's still around just lives with my mom in my hometown so i don't see him often), he likes to have whisper meow conversations too. I'm not sure what causes the issue, but in our cats case i think he was born with it bc we adopted him when he was around 4 months and had it even back then. he doesnt audibly purr either but you can still feel when he does. Hes so sweet, loves meeting new people and immediately getting on their lap never scratched or bitten anyone in his life
Honestly, your cat is the only other case of a mute cat I've heard of personally, i could never find much info on it.
My last cat loved sleeping with me. I'd wake up and she'd be there with her head on the pillow like a person. I really miss her.
I would like to know how you get your cat clean enough to sleep on your bed. I'd like to sleep with mine but can't help think he's dirty.
@@michellemwangi1749 she was always clean. Cats in general are really clean. Plus, I make all my cats indoor cats.

#5. He went blind and can’t get up there anymore (without help) 🥺
I have a blind cat. I made a ramp at the end of my bed. Covered it in carpet stair runners so he can get in and out of my bed without worry.
Lol my cat almost never leaves from under my bed or from on top my bed 😅. She is such a hermit 😂
And even though I kick in my sleep, hes always there when I wake up😊
In other words. .if your cat sleeps with you. You're a real G.
Imagine calling people gay
My cat usually starts scratching my door to be let in and sleep with me. He hates closed doors, and he loves my pillow.
Dude i don't even close my door if rare occasion one wants in he first yowls constantly from my loft stairwell then hops in upon hearing me sleepily react
You should get him one of those separate cat pillows! I think he'll love it
same
Mine used to sleep with me but not anymore, i doubt its because i moved too much to the point he kept waking up.
Mine does the same. He sleeps on the floor, not on the bed. After a few hours, he starts meowing and scratches on the door as a sign to open it.
my late cat used to be my little spoon. every night i would lift up my blanket and he would tunnel down to my knees, make a U-turn, and then come back up and flop hard against my chest. its been three years since he passed away and sleeping still isnt the same without him 😢
😥
Mine does the exact same thing. I dread the day where I won’t have my cuddle bug do that anymore 😭 He also has to lay his head on my pillow too, just like a human.
It's been one year my cat died honestly it feels super lonely although I have my parents and friends with him nothing is same
I’m a “loud side sleeper”, but so is my cat. He sleeps curled up with his back to my chest. He likes being tucked under the blankets with me as well. He’s been doing this for 13yrs now, so if he decides not to, I know something might be wrong. 🐾❤️🐾
Omg, that's so sweet ❤️
my kitten will lay close to me but doesn't come up close to my chest of arms or legs(i'm a very restless sleeper)...although he will get on my chest and start purring DEEPLY when I start having night terrors(I also talk in my sleep and occasionally yell) and he seems to do that to calm me down(i've noticed since I got him I wake up less tired than I used to although I do wake up more from his crackhead time at like 3am rofl)
My cat literally dies if I put her under the blanket like I threw a top on her today by accident and she was stuck but got out anyway
I try to give my cat some space but he jumps on me and starts sleeping on me and starts purring,I'm pretty sure he likes me 😅
When I had to replace my pillow, I bought a king sized one just because my cat likes to sleep on the same pillow that I do _while_ I’m sleeping on it. 😂
Lol same
Lucky you, my cat would try to directly sleep on your head or neck like a scarf…
My cat sometimes does that
@@PrettyGirlRock1115 When he got older, one of my cats used to sleep on my head when I had a migraine. 😄 His way of trying to help me feel better. I miss him. 🥺
@@mikaelafox6106 Awww I love that! My cat is the same too every time I was ill (which sadly was quite a lot lately) she came up to me purring and cuddling up on my stomach. Those are the best type of cats!
We're owned by seven. One sleeps with our grandkid, two sleep with my better half, two sleep with me, and the last two kinda rotate their affections. They're all very social, with each other and with their staff. Sweet little creatures. 💕
❤😊
Why do you have seven cats?!
(We've done six other TNRs over the years who found their own paths.)
@@IvyDoggins no offense but if they're able to take care of 7 cats, i think it's none of your business to command how many pets someone should have
@@countryoffelineshe asked out of confusion.. even the guy didn't get bothered.. why would you get offended?
Funnily enough, my cat loves to sleep under the covers with me. He'll climb up and nose around by my face until I open it up for him, then in he goes! I'm sure it's mostly for warmth, but I love it!
My cats do that too. I woke up this morning to one of them asking to get under the covers and we snuggled for a good half-hour. The other will get under the covers and use them like an actual human would 😂.
"Some cats are naturally more independent and just don't like sharing beds with others". Bro told my entire story in that frame.
Im so sorry, this is a very traumatic event. I hope she rests well up above and that your family was able to deal with her death well.
I have no words to describe how sad this made me feel. May she rest in peace in the heavens 🙏🏻
That is so depressing 😢😭💔
So she wanted comfort from mum 😭 I hope she passed peacefully and contently
Under the covers with me and everything with his head on the pillow too!!!!!😂😂😂❤❤
My orange tabby Brat was the same way, slept next to me like he was my boyfriend 😅😅😅

Almost every night my cat comes and cuddles with me. She’s such a sweetheart ❤

Why is that white kitten T-posing 😂
My cat sleeps with me but they wake me up way too early like 2-4 am
He'll climb his scratch pole and shout at me to come pet him
My cat t-bags me when I am sleeping. Now I am not sure if I won owning him or I lost getting owned by him...
t-bag him harder
My cats are never more than three feet away from me, and that includes at bedtime. 😊
My dad is the main person who feeds the cats so when they show me affection I know they truly love me 😂
The clips of the cats though 💀💀
My cat spike doesn’t only sleeps with me , he even chats before he goes off 😊
God is great to create such miracles in all kind , such a work❤
My cat Millie loves to snuggle with me under the blankets.
(We have no fences, so i felt it was amazing that she trusted me so much)
About 5 months after she passed, my parents adopted a kitten.

Yes of course!
