+dadO That's unnecessary because that region is more complicated (language barrier), and because EU isn't in a shit state. West EU (NV) Scandanavia (Fnatic) East EU (Na'vi/VP) and of course G2. There's so many good functional teams in EU, but in NA there's so much drama, imbalance, etc. It's a good idea just based on pure skill, but this is more valuable to analyze the NA scene.

I think this was a great video and by far the best possible choices with the acceptation of 1. I think the argument can be made for sgares ( coach ) and have cutler as the support / 2nd lurk who can also be an igl or even micro lead based off what the coach is saying and what is happening in game, or get a more raw skilled person on the team since most events now allow coaches to be behind the players and talking.
Mine: (also note this is going to be biased because I'm a huge C9 fan) Skadoodle - Great AWPer and chill dude, works well with his team Shroud - Has a great aim, good in clutches and in general Great player Hiko - Awesome lurker and clutch player in general Elige - An entry fragger that can do business, I think if hes consistent can be the best in NA Cutler OR Sean if he ever decides to unretire - Both are awesome players when they aren't IGLing (look at sean in IBP Cup), and they both are also very good IGLs.
I feel like a 5-fragger setup with a coach as an IGL would work soooo much better than the current model. And it just makes more sense. Send Cutler into a second lurk role like you wish he could do, then get Sean to be the mastermind behind the team. It just seems like the best way to do things.

When you chose Nitro over Shroud my confidence in your team went up by 100%. Shroud is so hyped up yet he can't do anything at LANs, and if he does, it's minimal. Great decision to go with actual talent over hype.
This was pretty much my exact line-up pick for pick. I agree with basically everything you've said. The talent is far too spread out within the teams right now in NA. We have a plethora of "decent" teams instead of 1 or 2 GOOD teams that could be capable of competing with EU. Simple as that. The only thing I could go either way on is Roca vs Shroud. I want to see Skadoodle be a little bit more active though. He's passive, basically a turret which can be good BUT also makes him predictable allowing teams to simply avoid him if necessary. Fortunately, IBP remaining banned doesn't help the NA scene either. Them being unbanned would be a direct injection of talent into the scene, and things would change immediately. Don't know if for better or worse, I just know change would happen. Here's hoping the leagues such as FACEIT and ESEA decide to un-ban them. They could still make things work even if they remain barred from majors.
Hey we've got very similar teams! I've always said, hiko, nitro, skadoodle, cutler, Stewie.. Another point is that hiko & nitro have IGL experience as well, so they can always give input if needed. I always get flamed for having cutler and Stewie in this lineup, I'm glad to see you recognize the value in cutler as well. As far as Stewie, I know he doesn't have the lan experience yet but with a lineup like this I think he would flourish. I've watched a lot of streams and I see this kid shit on shroud, freak, roca, a lot of these "top NA guys". He's not just another pug star IMO, I've seen way to much potential, he's on a level of swag where he just tools some of these top players and 1v3 clutches against them consistently like its nothing. Only time will tell I suppose. Roca is safer and more proven I suppose, even though Stewie tools him online. Great lineup Thorin!

Entry Fragger - Rush Trade Fragger - EliGE Hybrid Riffler - Tarik IGL - Stewie2k AWP - Autimatic You could also swap out Tarik for Stanislaw if you want a real/stronger IGL and move Stewie2k to the Hybrid/star Riffler role. IMO though you need more Firepower then Stan could bring if you want to beat Europe's best right now. I actually think this all NA Team actually could win a major!

Even though he is a very passive player, I think he can be the best player in the NA, maybe even the word, but the problem is, he is too passive. I think if you can get him in the mind set of "ok I have to be the second one in the site to kill them all", then I'm sure he can boost the team even one just due to the insane aim shroud brings to the game.
