They have said that they're not playing their best yet and haven't worked on their tactics enough yet. So comparing them to the other Fnatic run where they were at their peak and were totally in sync is not really fair. It's almost like you're taking greatness for granted. The fact that they're not totally dominating everybody yet makes it even more amazing that they just won 4 tournaments in a row.
admittedly winning 7 tourney in a row in 2012 meant you dominated for a much longer timespan, that what that would mean in 2015/2016 as the calender is now ridiculously packet with events.
OR... the competition is way weaker and more inconsistent then a couple month back. I think youre making valid points about this fnatic lineup, but maybe they were lucky in a sense that their mostly skill-based style wasnt so much affected by roster moves, the end of the season, looking for a new org, and the holidays

I really think Fnatic are getting less and less dominant (and also worse as a team overall), however they have this huge clutch factor in big games that always lets them take the hump and the win.
I think their strats are weaker now but pure aim they are so far ahead of most teams like even if they get out stratted and lose a round they can just by pistols and by shear aim destroy the other team
it is also about game fundamentals. They have a lot of games where they look really bad, simlpy because the team does not work as well as with pronax. Then of course their strats are not so great now. Of course their aim is good, but aim alone gets you nowhere, as can be seen with g2

Fnatic is the best team in the world, no doubt, but their success doesn't come from pure skill; their match-ups play a big part in their success. Since Dreamhack Cluj last year up to this point, the trend has been: Fnatic dominates Na'Vi, but can't beat EnvyUS; EnvyUs dominates Fnatic but can't beat Na'Vi; Na'Vi dominates EnvyUs but can't beat Fnatic. It just so happened that it's always Fnatic vs Na'Vi on the grand final of the last couple of tournaments Fnatic won.

+Peter Enis new envyus is actually really good but sadly they have recently choked massively looking like silvers after beating some of the strongest teams. New envyus have high win ratio vs new fnatic in terms of overall matches but sadly these two teams have not met in the finals of a tournament yet. Fnatic got knocked to lower brackets twice by envyus in the last 2 tourneys but envyus failed to make finals as navi seems to have got their number right now
I think we can all agree, IGLing makes even the best of players play worse, excluding fallen it seems, cause he IGLs, Top Frags, Clutches 1vXs Fallen is a monster.
Dont take it the wrong way. Flusha is one of the smartest players in the game. look at his demo on inferno vs LG. just insane. He is still a top 10 player (and better than fallen)

IGLing will make any player worse if they're put into the role for the first few months they're in the role. A player like Flusha is good enough that with time he can be a good IGL and a good player.
+Fishy Stick I very much agree, but he also will most likely never be a big execution type of leader like ex6tenz or pronax either, he will stick to a loser, less strict give your players opportunities to make plays kinda style. Like happy does, which can be very rewarding if you have the right players and dynamic positions where everyone is comfortable. I don't mean this in any way to make flusha seem bad, but lets be honest. You have olofmeister, Krimz, and JW. You kinda just need to not go overwhelmly negative and you'll be fine cause they're taking a lot of the kills anyhow. :P
I feel with dennis they didnt become better. Everyone else just became worse. (tsm and envy). LG and navi have definitly stept it up, but they arent on the top 3 lvl yet.
I believe Pronax set fnatic up for greatness. Pronax gave krimz, flusha, olof, jw the knowledge for months, now it stuck with them and they're teaching it to Dennis too. And since Dennis was already a good player, better than Pronax aim-wise. And now with the knowledge of Pronax coming from the rest of his teammates, it makes for a better team. That's my theory.
If fnatic continues to be as dominant as they used to, it's because of how terrible their opponents are, imo. They all have some kind of mental illness or something so they choke vs them. Na'Vi had no right to lose the last final, although i kinda felt they are gonna get rekt because that's what everyone does in finals vs fnatic.
