  • This was a great exploration trip with Gene and Ryan in a very beautiful part of Florida. This was our last fishing trip with Ryan before he passed away and it was difficult to get around to putting the footage together. RIP Brother.

    Why does Gene Look pissed? Gene is so right about the great thing about a kayak is being able to explore places and not being limited. The memories you guys make and the people you meet on these trips are awesome.Keep those lines tight brother.Looking forward to the next one!!

      +WestCoastBassin Thanks brother. It was just a tough time for him with what Ryan was going through

      Its rough brother. I remember reading some of his stuff on BassResource.com. I am going through the addiction thing with my older brother. Heroin is a big killer. I pray everyday for him. You can only do so much. Then you just have to let God handle the rest..Tight Lines.

    Loved watching this video! Especially in my neck of the woods. The fishing is like no other. Chad, thanks for putting this video together. Glad to see Ryan in one last video. Sad to see him lose his battle... RIP Ryan. Chad, is absolutely love to wet a line with you anytime you are in Old Florida again.

      KayakBassinTV make sure to check out the Blackwater River over towards Milton, too. 30 Miles Out did an awesome Striper Video on the river there.

    Hey Chad- this is Ryan’s Mom. Thank you for posting this video. I didn’t know there was video of this day! Ryan loved hanging with you guys and told me about the prank you pulled! Loved seeing him smiling.... thank you for the bottom of my heart.

    Great video really like when you fish with other TH-cam fishers. You not only fish but educate. Would like to see more videos like this.

    Chad,
    I know this video brings back memories of Ryan, it's good that Gene and you were able to share those times with a great angler. That lodge looks like a great place to get down to that super dark water and cypress looks real fishy.

    Great video. This might sound mean, but it was great to see you guys out there marking fish, but not slaying them. It is so frustrating to me to mark fish but not be able to figure out how to make them bite

    8 seconds of fishing, 10 minutes 3 seconds of narrating your day. Should re-name the video, because this is not a fishing video.

    How long do your yaks last? Isn't dragging them really bad for them?

    • @ChadHooverFishing
      @ChadHooverFishing  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Garrett Stilley several years. Dragging them is no worse than floating a shallow river. In fact,
      It's often not even as bad.

    • @stillcarlG
      @stillcarlG 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      KayakBassinTV good to know I have a FF lure and I try to keep it from dragging as much as possible... but it does happen
