Counter trays and the little bead/tackle boxes are great for token/counter storage and quick setup. I usually get my counter trays from GMT (a stack of 10 two-piece setsfor $20) and packs of small bead boxes from Amazon or a local craft store if they have a fitting size. Especially useful for games like these which have a lot of different little stacks to be used while playing.
This is one of the best quality board games as well and the amount of content is insane. I lucked out and got this on sale on Amazon for 60 bucks about three years ago. I’ve still never reshuffled the Darkness cards because there are so many and I want to see them all!
Sweet. Looking forward to seeing how this band gets on. The replay value of Darkest Night must be really high when you factor in the variations in abilities for each character! Great stuff thanks Doug.
Thanks Doug! This is such a great game. BTW: re the smuggler's network, you gain a secrecy when you move via a travel action. So you played it correctly. You don't gain a secrecy just for moving.
I never tire of another Darkest Night playthrough.
Me either. When I see someone post one I watch it right away.
@@Dougmysticeye Almost had my chance to pick it up at a con in the spring, but someone else got to it before me. Someday…
I too enjoy this game. I try to play it from time to time when I get a group together.
Such a great game. I wonder if the new owners will do anything with it.

Sure thing.
Clearly the acolyte is named Sparky.
Sparky it is!

Its funny. I have many plays of this game but as soon as I start to film it I start to question myself on rules.
Looks like a good group for a 3-relic strategy.
I may try that. We will see how many mysteries I can complete. I have never gotten close to a three relic win.
@@Dougmysticeye It's certainly tough, but with the right characters it's a fun challenge.
I love when you revisit games. A big and welcome change from ks games. Ty. What kind of trays are those, for the tokens?
They are Chessex token trays. Works really well.
