Nice suite. Even if I had the $$ I don’t think I would stay there because I love to be out exploring, shopping, & gambling in Vegas. If I had this room I wouldn’t want to leave it.
That's why we ate dinner in the suite, breakfast too. We usually don't spend too much time in whatever we stay in. Still nice to have something special to come home to
I've been to Vegas many times and stayed in different hotels but this suite has to be up there. I mostly stay at Green Valley and one suite I would love to check out is the one with its own private pool. I think it's $8,000/night. Great video by the way
Thank you so much for the kind words. I'm basically the poster child for don't give up until you get what you want. Just keep asking at check in and you might just get that pool villa. I think Pompsie has a video of it.
Would have been nice to get this room for my 40th birthday for a guys trip, let alone been nice to even be able to go to Vegas, especially since I never been there.
For some reason MGM doesn't like to update butler's pantries. In my Luxor Penthouse video you'll see a surprisingly similar one. Even The Mansion doesn't have great kitchens. At Mirage they don't even bother including them anymore. Design is straight out of an 80's Sears or Montgomery Ward catalogue. Mike E has a video showing one in his Lanai video.
as fancy as that room I still think i would take a terrace suite at the Cosmo over it any day. there is nothing like coming back from a night of gambling and drinking with friends and hanging out on your balcony overlooking the strip. there is also no chance I would ever be offered a room like this anyway so it is a moot point.
I've stayed in a Skyline Terrace Suite at MGM and a Bellagio Grand Lakeview Suite with balconies. The terrace can be cool except when it is incredibly windy or scorching hot. My wife would hate it when it is cold, that's when I love it. I have vids of those too. I've hung out in friends Wrap Around at Cosmo. The balcony is awesome but the suite is meh. If I had to stay there would only be in a Penthouse with a terrace, Lanai or Bungalow Suite. Almost booked a Bungalow once but cancelled that trip anyway. Thanks for watching.
I’m gonna second that opinion on the wraparound suite. I was very underwhelmed. I stayed in it last week, and the room felt like a warehouse, compared to their normal terrace suites. Very disappointed.
@@dadblogCA Yep. The Wrap Around has a horrible layout. The selling point is the outdoor area and views. Check out the Terrace Angle Studio. Not many people know about it. Nice little room and a way better value.
Oh reason not the need... I agree, it is large enough for a wedding party. Funny enough this was on our list of potential suites to stay in for our wedding. We went with the Bellagio Chairman Suite instead. I like to try the best of what a hotel offers , especially when it is something spectacular like this.
I decided to go to Vegas day of, booked a Reef Suite online, when I arrived in VIP asked if it was available and negotiated the rate. All in was around $1600 a night. Normally goes for $5,000-10,000 per night.
That's the case with a lot of butler's pantries. Was surprised about that too, and the fact it wasn't updated. The Delano Loft has a full kitchen with stove. You could basically live in it full time.
If you are a major player, talk to your host. Otherwise, call MGM's Luxury Reservations department and inquire about booking it. They can book using your Mlife tier status discount but not offers. Suites like this don't come with a tier discount, FYI.
I wonder if they log their complaints? I would love to hear of any complaints anyone ever might have called in with this suite. That would be hilarious listening to 😂
Sadly no. MGM used to include all the non alcoholic drinks (water, juice, Coke, etc.) for free when you stayed in their super high end stuff like Skylofts, Aria Sky Villas, etc. That changed a few years ago. The irony is anyone staying in this room will have access to VIP which has all those things for free.
Nice nice but WHO the HE'LL pick that carpet on those stairs!!!??? It looks like that carpet belong in the Wynn & encore stile. Greetings from LAS Vegas
Companies take inspiration from others design all the time. The new Sky Villas at Aria have a Circa vibe for instance. You'd be surprised at home many of these high end suites for example have statues of camels or horses in them. Wealthy people like/expect that.
Usually anywhere from $5,000-10,000 a night. Upgrade rates on these used to be about $2500 a night, though this could have changed as everything in Vegas is extremely expensive right now. Depending on your requirements, also look at te Delano Loft, Skylofts, The Mansion, Aria Sky Villas, Bellagio's Chairman/Presidential Suites, Caesars Villas, the Duplex Apartment at Wynn and the Fleur de Lis at Fontainbleau. They all clock in at or below the cost of this and many come with more perks. MB (and Delano) price their highest end stuff way higher than most Vegas resorts for some reason.
@@ladietq26 I noticed afterwards that seemed to be the case but thought perhaps they were 3 Bed or something. Clearly the head on Strip view one is the version that gets all the attention. Not that the other views are bad. I like the airport and mountain views too. Plus for me was this one was featured in Las Vegas the TV series. A favorite of mine.
@@ladietq26 All I can say is negotiate and never give up on a dream. I wanted to stay in the THEHotel Presidental Suite for a decade. Finally got to do it in 2020 even though it was now the Delano Loft. Dreams are meant to be realized. Mandalay is weird with how they upgrade their rooms. They get the regular rooms and suites done quickly. The VIP suites they take their time on. Usually they do only a few at a time. By that I mean like a few every year. The Orchids are still original and so are all but one of the Coral Suites. That makes no sense.
I was able to negotiate a slightly more favorable rate, that's a skill of mine, but yes. Then we came back for NYE, VP Suite at Harrah's. Got that day of as we literally decided to pack when we woke up on NYE. It's on my channel too. "Right" is a matter of perspective. To most people I didn't do what was right. Dropped out of college for instance. People tend to not realize there are almost always multiple paths to a destination. The well traveled one isn't always the best one. Thanks for watching. I actually really appreciate it.
I mean you can call what you own whatever you like. A Presidential Suite is just a big suite that would fit a President or world leader should they stay in a particular hotel. You can't buy one at the Mandalay Bay.
NO hot water in a Ceasars Palace villaa? Wha'-what-WHAT? Firstly, I wasn't aware hotels can rent rooms with no hot water ... but a VILLA? I'd LOVE to hear what the compensation for THAT was!
They took comped about 1/3rd of the cost and were really nice about it. Apparently the 2 Bedroom Villa next to us has the same issue and so did many people that week in the Palace Tower. Unfortunately things like that happen. I wasn't thrilled with it but I appreciate Caesars employees nonetheless.
@@PKPhoenix83 IMHO, the stay should have been free, or you should have been moved to a room with hot water. I mean, no shower in a high-class "Villa"? And so, you still spent thousands, even at 1/3 off? My heart goes out to you, but this was completely unacceptable.
@@ThatRascalMerlin I could have pushed for more but I already negotiated a discount on it anyway. Plus the manager of VIP Services or something gave me her card for the next time I want to stay there. Eventually I'd like to stay in one of the almost impossible to book Octavius Villas (when I can afford them). This is my in so to speak. That's more worth it to me.
@@PKPhoenix83 Yes, those are THEE apex villas in Vegas! The Mansion and Bellagio villas don't hold a candle to these. Heck, the only Villa I have ever seen that compares to these is the Nobu Villa ... INSIDE Ceasars! LOL! I have watched all the viddies on those and they are eye-watering! Wow, just wow!. My two favs are the Vulcan and the Asian decorum one (forgot what it's called, Cleopatra maybe?).
@@ThatRascalMerlin You forgot the villas at Wynn. Not the Fairway ones they have on their website but the Garden Villas. Narek #NGSlots stayed in one of the single story ones. There's also two, two story ones that are basically like palaces. Everytime I stay at Wynn I ask about them. Eventually I'll worm my way in there as a guest lol.
Room looks awesome! I'm a young dude and I just started my career in IT. I'm also a music producer, and firearms instructor. I don't mean to be rude, but how do you afford $4,000 a night suites? I'd really like to reach that level of financial freedom. I'd love to learn and gain some knowledge on how to get there.
Best thing I can tell you is be smart with your money. We charge basically everything to credit cards and use points from them, but pay them off in full every month so we pay no interest. So a credit card might have an annual fee of say $95 but it comes with a free room per year too. The points we earn allow for more free rooms or airline miles, etc. We finance things at very low interest rates because we both have excellent credit, so we can keep more cash on hand to invest in things that potentially can earn us a higher rate of return than saying paying for a car in cash. Not having kids helps too. You have to find what works for you. But, even if you are broke today remember, you don't just think about today but 5 or 10 years in the future of where you want to be and how you want to get there. IT will be by far the surest way to make money. If you are talented, the music industry can too. Just passed our CCW classes a few weeks ago, seems like a good way to make extra money too. Remember, you have to focus on what you really love most though or what is the majority of your income. Don't spread yourself too thin. Finally, never give up and never let other people or the world in general beat you down and tell you that you can't do something. Almost anything is indeed possible.
when you compare the price of this compared to the majority of the overpriced Vegas homes this is the way to go especially for a long-term stay . . . food and entertainment included!!!
I imagine suites like these on the strip are not just for whales but mainly for major performing artists in residencies such as Adele, Santana, Katy Perry, Celine Dion, Britney Spears, etc., as part of their contracts.
Whales mostly, celebs and politicians. Bill Clinton stayed in the Bellagio Chairman Suite and Delano Loft that I have videos of, or at least so I've been told. Britney used to like the 2 Bedroom Terrace Skyloft and I think stayed in the Rio's Palazzo Suites when she had her residency in Vegas, though she also went home.
Sometimes an experience is more important than money. Had no idea we would be laying our heads down in Vegas on Christmas Eve. Originally just drove up to Flagstaff to see snow, and was going to come home to Phoenix. Ended up checking out Williams which was basically all closed down, realized it wasn't much more of a drive to Vegas vs going home. Since we've only lived in Phoenix a year, not like we have many friends. Decided to just say screw it and go someplace we'd have fun and where things would be open. Usually when we plan a Vegas trip I barely get any sleep the night before, wake wife up at 3 AM, push her out the door by 4 and we are there by 9 or 10 at the latest. Last minute isn't ideal but it also can be fun. The pandemic has made me realize you have to enjoy things in life when you can.
Steve Wynn before mgm took over bellagio and mirage are two beautiful designs and layouts. Now hard rock taking over the mirage I hope they don’t screw it all up.
I dreamed about staying in places like this for a long time. Now I can. Almost anything in life is possible if you try hard enough. Enjoy the journey and the destination. They are both special.
WOW I like how quiet it is... no thin hotel walls to hear the person next door.... Yet, I don't have the income even for the thin walled hotel room these days with the prices so jacked up thanks to many people within GA being evicted from 2020 and 2021 they rent out extended stays and other hotel room because of the eviction they get screwed in finding a new apartment even with a job. There's no price protection on housing or goods within the State... so people are getting eaten alive. I told them the way out of hades is to save me yet they continue to shit on my efforts to save myself... LOL
I was able to negotiate a better rate, though still exorbitant by most standards. This was thanks to my status with Mlife and my history of staying in other very expensive suites within MGM Resorts such as the Delano Loft, Aria Sky Villas, Skylofts, etc. I also know what the suites are, what they are worth and am a highly skilled negotiator. That being said, I often do pay rack. Most I ever paid per night was just under $7,000 for the Bellagio Chairman Suite. That was for my wedding so I booked it 6 months in advance. We don't need 4 Bedrooms but if the opportunity presents itself, you take it.
No. That human garbage can was 9 floors down. He had a Vista Suite now called the Horizon Suite. This was his exact room: th-cam.com/video/EJpfAU4f-5k/w-d-xo.html Or if you want a better tour of it, Pompsie did a video on that room type, not the actual room a while back.
Considering the video as it stands was over 13 minutes long, I really was trying to not drag it out even more. Plus, I was hungry, it was Christmas and I'm not getting paid to do this like so many people who post Vegas content. But, thank you for watching nonetheless.
Haha well considering we invite our friends all the time and they never come, at least you are eager. BTW your channel is awesome. Subbed and cats are always welcome.
Bad things have happened at every hotel. There have been numerous jumpers at Luxor. Harvey's in Reno was bombed. Horseshoe, then MGM Grand caught on fire. It's a comfort level I guess. I'm not staying in the suite the shooter was in so it makes a difference. Now Horseshoe, most of the top floors had people die in them. That's far too morbid. Besides, if too many people avoid Mandalay Bay, which is a great hotel, the staff are the ones who suffer.
OMG how gaudy can you get I haven't liked one thing about this place even if I had the money to spend it wouldn't be here, it just feel's very cheap and not very well thought out, it's 2022 and it look's stuck in time like the 80's. If I could spend that much it would be Miami!
No offense but I wonder if this is the suite that crazy man shot and killed all those people from. He was in a huge suite and they said they were going to remodel it. May be the reason there is only one in the entire hotel....I'm kinda disgusted if this is that room...making money off the room he used to kill so many people....hipe not but the thought crossed my mind...
No, it isn't. His suite was on the 32nd floor. They used to be called Vista Suites not Horizon Suites. They are far inferior to this one. You can find videos of his exact suite on TH-cam. Mandalay won't rent it out anymore.
I don't know how anybody can stay there when a guy shot 56 people dead. How quickly one forgets. I would never ever stay there just to honor the People who died.
Different suite. He was in one of the Horizon Suites a few floors down. There's deaths both natural and sadly from violence in probably every hotel in the world. You try not to think about it. My wife and I were married in early October the year before this happened in Vegas. Woke up that morning to a flurry of texts asking if we were okay as everyone assumed we'd be back for our anniversary. Thankfully we didn't come out that month. Best way to honor the victims and to figuratively crap on the monster who shot them is to act like he never existed. To support a business that employs thousands. I'd rather they not be economic victims of that human garbage can too.
While I see so many struggling during the pandemic this seems gratuitous...can think of a,lot of other ways to invest 5 grand..into people not things but a nice room friend.
I was laid off in April of 2020 thanks to the pandemic and still don't have a job. Almost everyone is struggling, albeit in different ways. We can all be different in our problems but in the same boat together. You have to realize, anything people spend is investing into other people. How many could Mandalay Bay employ because I stayed there? Do you not think everyone I tipped our was not happy and ultimately grateful for my stay? Without business, the company would fail, the economy would fail. I'm proud to have taken 12 trips to Vegas since 2020, many of them when the city and the employees were struggling and uncertain. I love the people of Vegas and want them and the businesses they work for to succeed. Spending money with them is how that happens. You are also making assumptions that I Scrooge money away and don't do nice things for people. Simply because we try to enjoy our lives to the fullest, especially during a very challenging time at best, doesn't mean I don't care. What I do or don't do with our money is our business. Unlike so many fake people I don't need nor want public adulation over acts of charity and kindness. I prefer quiet, meaningful, personal moments. I hope now you can see the other side of things. If not, that's fine too. Thanks for watching and good health to you and those you care about.

@@PKPhoenix83 one of the reasons why I love Green Valley is when you check in, they ot uou can ask for an upgrade and get a pretty good discount..

Would have been nice to get this room for my 40th birthday for a guys trip, let alone been nice to even be able to go to Vegas, especially since I never been there.
Hope you get there someday.
Are those old fashion white / non-stainless steel appliances I saw? Was this video filmed in 1999?

Very nice, just very excessive. What are you even supposed to do with all that space in a hotel room? You could sleep a whole wedding party in there.
Oh reason not the need...
I agree, it is large enough for a wedding party. Funny enough this was on our list of potential suites to stay in for our wedding. We went with the Bellagio Chairman Suite instead.
I like to try the best of what a hotel offers , especially when it is something spectacular like this.

How did u get this room? Was it comp’d or did u pay for it?
I decided to go to Vegas day of, booked a Reef Suite online, when I arrived in VIP asked if it was available and negotiated the rate. All in was around $1600 a night. Normally goes for $5,000-10,000 per night.

Normally $6,000-10,000 per night.

Full size refrigerator but no stove or oven?
That's the case with a lot of butler's pantries. Was surprised about that too, and the fact it wasn't updated. The Delano Loft has a full kitchen with stove. You could basically live in it full time.
How would you book this to stay their
If you are a major player, talk to your host.
Otherwise, call MGM's Luxury Reservations department and inquire about booking it. They can book using your Mlife tier status discount but not offers. Suites like this don't come with a tier discount, FYI.
Mandalay Bay is nice but I just hate where it's located on the strip. Gorgeous but I'll probably never stay there
I wonder if they log their complaints? I would love to hear of any complaints anyone ever might have called in with this suite. That would be hilarious listening to 😂

Ok I feel stupid lol you told what they cost 😂
Never mind
8:40 Yall he almost said hot shit, but caught himself.
Are the drinks 🍹 in the refrigerator free
I like the carpet. Probably because I like the design of Wynn and Encore. Wishing I was in Vegas right now. Enjoy!
Why would they do that to the stairs
I like the butterfly moteif. Ironically enough we have it to a lesser extent at home.
What’s so strange is that they used items similar if not the same from Wynn (art) and Venetian (powder room sink) are some examples. Very strange
Companies take inspiration from others design all the time. The new Sky Villas at Aria have a Circa vibe for instance. You'd be surprised at home many of these high end suites for example have statues of camels or horses in them. Wealthy people like/expect that.
Happy Winter Solstice. 👍

How much for a night ?
Wow nice 👏

From a design standpoint seems a bit dated for the money. Thanks for the review though!
Did you love this, or the Delano Loft more? 😎
WTH… just casually dropping 5k for a room cuz your board?
Lol you must of done something right in life.
Christmas Day is the best day to access some of those crazy suites for relatively low prices (not cheap just lower)
Right..got bored so rented a 5 grand room ..never been that bored
Can you own a presidential suite?
I mean you can call what you own whatever you like. A Presidential Suite is just a big suite that would fit a President or world leader should they stay in a particular hotel.
You can't buy one at the Mandalay Bay.
I’m happy with a reg room
Damn Paul ! Are y’all hiring at your job ? 🤣🤣👀
Considering I'm unemployed at the moment, you all hiring lol?
You didn’t mind spending $5k to stay there? I believe I would have gotten there at check in time so I had more time to spend there.
Even if I was rich.. I would still feel guilty spending 10k for a room that's a fraction 2 floors down.
I was expecting some kind of fish tank lol
Those fish would have so much PTSD from what many of the high rollers probably do in these suites.
We were bored at home so we spent 5k on a suite for a single night. JC.

There's no price protection on housing or goods within the State... so people are getting eaten alive. I told them the way out of hades is to save me yet they continue to shit on my efforts to save myself... LOL
So you guys paid $5,000?!?!???
