YES! PT5000!!! Miyota "ticked" me "off" in the last few months, with several watches landing in the bin, all with Miyota battery quartz calibres! Thank you for the review
EXCELLENT Video! I especially like the strap monster section. Clicked on the link for the Quick Release Bond Nato - unfortunately sold out. PS I've got the Phylida 007 NTTD just like this one - and yes great value for money. Wish it had the lume pattern like the original (incl fully lumed bezel) and the matt BROWN instead of black, but it's still great value for money.
I have both of the watches plus a real omega seamaster the phylida is very good that said the omega is a better time keeper but it cost nearly ten times more great video nice watches cheers
Thank you! I appreciate it! I also have an Omega Seamaster, however, the quality is not that far off if you think about the price, it's ridiculous value for $150
Harsh, my lad desired the watch, was never going to afford the real thing until much later in life. I bought him the Pagani version, keeps him happy for now. Wouldn't want a 17 year old running around with 10k on their wrist! I think homage serve their purpose as a "test drive" to the real thing, helps to decide if you want to put the effort in. I have a 300m pro, I love it, I'm a Bond fan and dislike the NTTD watch. Much prefer the Planet Oceans or Aqua Terra.
I definitely agree, homages allows you to do a test drive instead of risking wasting a big amount of cash on something you might not wear! I have the Omega Seamaster "Peter Blake", 36mm version, and that one is amazing to me. Will have a review of it sometime this month. Thanks for watching!
Hey there! Yes, the thickness is 14mm from the case back all the way to the center of the crystal if you don't include the crystal, just the bezel, it's in the 12mm range. Thanks for watching!
@@christiancastillo3043 if you are interested in the watch, check in 2 days, there will be a sale on AliExpress and I think it will drop $20 on both movements!
Stunning watch, but for that price, it should have better lume and a lumed bezel... I really don't get it, even an Addiesdive Submariner quartz has better lume and lumed bezel and costs around 35 to 40 euros... I bought that watch anyway with a Miyota because it is, and in my opinion, the best NTTD homage, I'll second the Octopus and Heimdallr in third. Great video! Keep it up! 🎉
I agree! The lume is not the best but everything else is nice! It has a crazy price right now due to AliExpress yearly sale, each movement is $20 cheaper + some coupons. Will do! Thanks for watching!
The homage works for some people as not everyone has a disposable income of $10,000 and even after savings, that's a very big amount of cash to spend on a watch if you have other duties to take care of. If it was half the price, then maybe it could be attainable for us common folks.. A fake is something different. Much better wearing a homage than something that you know is an actual "fake".
@@RageAgainstTimeEXACTLY RIGHT. Bottom line my $46 Casio DW5600 tells better and SAME TIME as a $9k Omega Seamaster. So does my only slightly more expensive $98 Pagani Design NTTD homage. Guess what, I get the look without the expense. I sometimes wear my NTTD homage to work as a firefighter without worrying about damaging it or losing it because I don't have to "save for 3-5 years" to replace it.
Very nice photography! I bought this watch when it came out and still love it, great value for money!
I appreciate it! It is a great watch! Thank you for watching

Oh no, sucks for Miyota 😂 thanks for watching!

Keep up the good work

Hello, great content, did you take the measurement yourself? Cause the thickness has kinda kept me from purchasing it. Thanks in advance.

Thanks man

@@RageAgainstTime thanks for the info, I sure will.
What does the other crown do?
Helium escape valve
Yes! I forgot to mention about it, however, not sure about its functionality as I never took this watch on a deep sea dive.

It doesn’t even come close to looking like the real thing.
For 1% of the cost it's very nice...
It’s another fake! Homage whatever. Save for 3-5 years and buy the original. Stop wasting money on fakes.

Why are you watching this video then? Lmao 😂😂
@@ragr5133 that's what I ask myself 😂
Nice watch but the names they use suck. Sounds like a std
I know, right? However, it's actually a Greek word and it means "green foliage". Thanks for watching!
It sounds like an STD only if you have a dirty mind!
