Hi,I'm a percussionniste from Sénégal living in Paris and this exercise is going to bring joy to play Samba but it's new from me and i need to work hard specially my left hand!Thanx!!!!
Michael, love your enthusiasm, expertise and patience in your videos. What you are doing is very highly appreciated, not just here but all your great videos.
I sure did! I always enjoy and learn from your videos. They way you break down the lessons into simpler chunks and show the notation! And the great music, of course! Keep it up!
Gostei muito das lições, embora não saiba falar inglês. Mesmo assim foi muito proveitoso Mas que tal alguns áudios em português. Aqui no Brasil o Cajon está sendo muito difundido. Mas a grande maioria da população não sabe Inglês.

Hola! In the third rhythm the slapa are on the 3 and 4 of the sixteenth notes. If you put the slaps on the 1 and 4 it will become more like a samba. I hope you understand my english.... Good luck!

If I play bass down and middle is wrong ?
You don't have to play the bass in the middle of the cajon. Just under the top and you play it with the middle of your hand, not with the fingers.
Your welcome, I hope you can use these rhythms!
j'adore
nadaadecirr Merci beaucoup!
Nice lesson, may I ask what is your cajon model and how do you record it??(mic position etc) because it sounds really good.
Thank you. My cajon is a Slagwerk model. And I have recorded it with 2 mic's, a DPA at the back for the bass and in front a Neumann km 184.
Noted. Thanks for info!
Thank you!!
What kind of cajon are you using??
Thanks!!
Your welcome!
buena perscusion
Yes, dutch.

+Federico Albacete I think you mean Ilê Aiyê. É um Bloco Afro de Bahia con muchos ritmos lindo.
