The spit is not a random direction. You can choose which direction to be spit out by "Moving" in the desired direction. Makes it easier to avoid accidental cleaves. Nice guide ^^,
Love your videos ! Good tips and clear explanations. Gonna try t6 tonight with my fc and your guide is the best that i've found. Thank you and keep up the good job :)
Hey Haps, my FC Raid group is going to attempt T6 for the 1st time tonight...thanks for the guides...love them all. I like the way you do them, don't let people try to change how you do them.
Easy Solution for Blighted Bouquet: Manderville. Make a hotkey of the dance. Press it to interrupt any of your moves and lock you into it's dance. This will save you from death. :P
Hey there Mrhappy, speaking of fireball, i know the annonce too as i a ranged dps too haha. But like to add, i noticed it won't target you if you are very close to the boss, like hug distance :x. It ends up target a random dps melee, healers that are further apart. This is something might want take note as it may end up harming a party especially if they cluster somewhere else dpsing and a range near a boss, the fireball will hit the ones far away. ;p Also the renauld if stack all 4 together, no new one will pop, freeing up bard from kite duty. However, as someone mentioned here, got to careful of phase transitioning, if didn't refresh the stone on the stacked renauld, all 4 will unfreeze before a new curse is applied to them. if somehow you manage face all 4 towards melusine, on last phase they will get stone by pacifaction too, so alot of stone
One of the biggest problems I with endgame dungeons/trials is recognizing the status affliction icons, is it possible to include a small pic. of them in your guides?
Thorny vines gives you a debuf that looks like some thorn jaws, The Devour mark is kind of like a bright shinning sun over a player, hard to miss, even by main tank. Rotten Stench looks kind of like the Divebomb from T5... Honey glaze is an orangy looking debuf, once the hornet is out, look into the parties' status bars and you will inmediately notice it, for it will be the first or second (practically always first) on the left.
Look at the shape of the stat effect. Buffs have the point (arrow) at the top, debuffs on the bottom. Even if you don't know the exact icon for a debuff, you can tell it's harmful if it's pointing down.
Nice guide happy but there is also a slightly cheese method for dealing with the marker in phase 1 and 2. Have the dps and healers stack behind the boss wait for the mark to appear and disappear again then everyone including the marked person runs through the boss. Rafflesia will target the place the marked person was stood not where they currently are and the suck won't get anybody. The person with the mark still gets stunned for a couple of seconds but nobody needs to stand in the briars that way.
hi Mr Happy, The way our team deal with swam is: war MT, inner beast every swam, pld OT holly ground when adds still alive. I think it's totally the same as Turn 5 death sentence. Inner beast is enough, but MT can still use any defense skills when adds still there to make healer less stressful. Our team check out a lot of pld MT videos, all those videos use Bendi(sry i forget whm skill name) to same MT. My opinion about coil 6&7 is war do better than pld for MT postion. At last, thank you for you videos, i like your guilds very much. GLHF
I have a question. Can rotten stench be entirely avoided if the party ran to the front of raf at the right time ? similarly to the divebomb mechanic used in t5. If you were to wait for the marker to disappear and then run to the mt side for example, would it completely negate the damage ?
Mr Happy, everyone is doing the LOS method now, is it possible you could make a tutorial video about this way of doing the fight? New players are watching this video, thinking it's how to do it and the party has to explain to them a whole new method. People say that have watched a video, but I can't find any videos on this method and it would be extremely helpful to have people come in the raid knowing the method already. Thanks :)
LoS, you get big yellow circle, you run to tank, circle vanishes, you run back through... that didn't take long to explain, you don't need to watch a video for that.
Hey Mrhappy, thanks for all your videos. Just one question. Do you know if Summoner/Scholar pets are affected by Blighted Bouquet the same way as characters, i.e., should I worry about putting them in "peace" mode?
Mr happy, I was wondering which server you played, I would love help clearing the raids of the second coils of Bahamut with your group before Heavensward launches.
I have 2 questions for you Mr. Happy. One: If a group has/is having troubles with Turn 5, will the group have a very difficult time downing Turn 6, if not completely unable to beat Turn 6? Two: How would you rate the fight, in comparison with Turn 5?
Its about that time to do a walk thru on NOT limit breaking the slug. I'm a 100 monk, and I've done it numerous times. However, alot, of ppl are still new to this, and I think reducing the "gamble" should be a option now. Since all mains attempting this should be at least ilvl 95 or higher. Basically, I need you to tell what the OT should be precisely doing. I've pug'd a lot of these, and from your earlier video, once ppl get past acid rain, it falls apart. Instantly.
My view: Off tank HAS to take hate from the slugs (without provoke) and start hitting or mark one of them, dps should then get it below 50% life, so the slug will eat the acid rain and become super saiyan slug, dps give initial rape to slug, OT Provokes and starts hitting it to maintain aggro... Kill it, pull other two slugs to rafflesia, and AOE till they die... next set of slugs will be kited while another DPS check happens on killing Raf. Enjoy!
At least 448 for BLM (there was a single miss with 447) and 465~469 for SMN (garuda misses quite a bit at 464, but not at all at 469; couldn't get any number in between with what I had on hand). No idea about other jobs.
Auto attacks don't kill you during buffet.... We tried it and it never killed anyone that was auto attacking... But panning your camera around and turning your character counts as moving and will kill you
I know for sure you can pan your camera because I've seen people do it in a lot of these videos (though turning your character would be different) and I've seen people auto attack and get killed. Can anyone confirm about the auto attack thing?
Rc3651 I have been killed repeatedly during my auto attack animation while learning the fight. Buffet only kills you if you happen to be in your auto attack animation when the spell finishes casting.
If you can't spend 30 minutes (generally the length of M.H's videos) watching a video of someone explaining ENDGAME to you, which took them weeks to figure out, you clearly aren't even remotely devoted to completing endgame and should just quit while you're ahead.

YES
slugs and slimes may break my vines but also gets me back in range for rotten stench.
a poetic masterpiece by MrHappy 2k14

sorry i must have slip and click the wrong turn at work :P. was meant for t7. haha
very informative. looking to try this out the first time as a sch.
Good vid as well. I suggest you turn on close captions and watch the vid-pretty damned hilarious!
Thanks for the video..makes me less of a noob now in coil lol..appreciate all these :)

Eugenio Garza I guess mental visualization will have to do. Thanks for the help.

subbed lol greatly appreciate the advice and guide

Nope they aren't affected ^^
are you able to leeches/esuna during phase 3 or no? you say that you assume, anyone know if you can?
Mr happy, I was wondering which server you played, I would love help clearing the raids of the second coils of Bahamut with your group before Heavensward launches.
ugh, Just Got Done With T5 To Find Out That The Next Fight Is Even More Complicated.... ~Cries~ This is why I cant have nice things!
Mr. Happy, random question: What is your resolution?! I want that much beautiful space on my screen.
No views. That;s a first for TH-cam!
Thanks for the guide.
11:30 did i just see Solar Beam? O_o
Our group used potent poison potions on the final phase and well it helped us down it ignoring the slimes but lb the boss n slugs.
on the last phase my party just LB3 melee the boss and burn it down and dont do anything with the slimes or slugs.
What is the acc cap for t6
About 490.
I have 2 questions for you Mr. Happy. One: If a group has/is having troubles with Turn 5, will the group have a very difficult time downing Turn 6, if not completely unable to beat Turn 6? Two: How would you rate the fight, in comparison with Turn 5?
they're about the same difficulty-wise, T6 is more of a DPS check at the end, where as T5 is more a dps check at the start with the conflags.

wooo doing it
rafflesia is like Lord Ochu from ffx
OCHU DANCE!
damn 40 sec and ur already at the boss - would have liked to see more trash - do any turns have more than one boss ? ( or something like T2 ?)
whats the accuracy cap?

Damn.. wanted to clear it before you made your video
I thought I would never have to check this guide. n_nU
My brain. Do tanks get hit by those vine?
Not the main tank, off tank can
Auto attacks don't kill you during buffet.... We tried it and it never killed anyone that was auto attacking... But panning your camera around and turning your character counts as moving and will kill you

Mrhappy1227 True. That's why our bad just put away his bow during it.He got killed enough with a stupid auto xD
fail... autoattack does kill you... panning doesn´t... oh, if you are getting raised, you die again too.
Oh, and it´s not all you can eat around here... learn the spelling, its bouquet, not buffet
he she he she he she
This sounds like a lot of trouble just for 2 pieces of loot lol.
your guides are long, shorten them. Other than that, great guide
They're guides. It's not a 30 minute video. It's almost 15. I find that relatively normal.
Don't change your guide length get the information out to us to the best of your ability,.. Shorter guides don't go into detail

Hmm looks like hard
too many words….
