Olsen is a good addition. McCabe might be a really big surprise. Fuerbach looks like she is stepping up as a senior leader.
Jaidyn Schomp, from Missouri, is a really good point guard. Once she learns how to body and control her layups on drives she'll be some trouble
These preseasn games are great warm ups for DI schools (Iowa) and excellent experience for the DII (MO Western) school. Both are preseason ranked at #4 on Massey in their Divisions.
Iowa Hawkeyes will be much better than people think. I think Taylor McCabe will be an upgrade over Gabby Marshall. Lucy Olson will is not Caitlin Clark but has better defense and can score. Sydney Alforter will be out the first month of season but we know can play defense and score. Hanna Stuelke will make the all big ten team, hopefully they will just play her at the four. Kylie F is a returning good player. Number 55 looks like she is a baller. I like this team will be watching ever game.
The Iowa freshman are awesome. Impressive bench! Looking forward to seeing what they all can do PC (post Caitlin). 👍🏻

Well, this was like an NBA team playing against a G-League team... nothing really to learn fom it. Specially if it comes to defense. But good to get some shots up under game conditions at least. But I still have no idea how good this team can be this season...
They’ll be alright nothing amazing, maybe like a sweet 16 team
One thing I noticed that's different from last year, even preseason, is that the defense is way way better. They are leagues more active in defense than they have been in the last 2 or 3 years. A little bit of that might be what Lucy brings from the Big East, but there's also a cpaching difference. I can tell they actually have purpose in their D now.

As per usual u know ur gonna get called for a foul from a ref in the worst position when the ref in plain view does'nt call it because it was a clean steal! Feel for Griffin although not sure why there tallest player is out on the perimeter shooting 3's. Griffin have short guards which they could run circles around the Iowa bigs but after getting the step on them they drive to the basket but run away from the basket instead.
