Withe Maya Moore in the house, no wonder Caitlin's game was off.

How awful for Caitlin that the match where she took the record was the one that put Molly out of the game for weeks. Poor Molly, she missed almost the whole post-season.

That moment was one of the most important moments of the season. I don't think many people realize how important Molly D. was to their success and how she took some of the pressure off of CC. Molly came up big at times when the rest of the team was not shooting well. I think the team was at its best when both she and CC were on the court together. Having 2 great point guards with excellent ball handling and passing skills is an incredible advantage. She was second on the team with assists despite missing a significant amount of the season.

Of course Caitlin Clark broke the record on the FT line. CC had been making opponents pay by dropping these charity points all season. CC actually looked relieved after … the record is fine but winning is the goal.
So sad Molly Davis was injured.
Iowa turned up their intensity in the 3rd quarter with everyone harassing OSU.
Gabby Marshall had if I counted correctly four 3s. But the PLAY that defines GM occurred at about 2:31 (game clock) left (43:43 on the video timer). GM steals the inbounds pass, flips to Kate Martin who finds Hannah Stuelke for two. That’s good ball movement. BUT, rewind and see where Gabbie Marshall is at 2:31 on the game clock. GM is going full speed after the in-bounds pass as if a 13 point lead (89-76) isn’t enough. A steal to seal the deal. Kate Martin called Gabby Marshall “relentless.”

I think the commentator (like me) has a soft spot for Gabbie. He always sounded just that little more excited when she sniped a three!!
She's like (in a good way) a spider, or octopus, on speed. One second she's harrassing the throw-in and two seconds later she's climbing all over the other side's point guard. I loved watching her play. Shame, in a way, she didn't stick with basketball.

1st of all give her props for making history in college. Therefore, nike will make money off her and that is why she is getting the deal from nike. Let's just see if she does well in the wnba or get destroy by some wnba players who might think she is not gonna live up to all the hype on the next level. Either way she got her bag from nike so I don't think she really cares what anyone thinks😂😂😂
