Great thumbnail and video-audio quality. Randomly came across your video and I would never have thought this was the first video on a channel with very little subscribers. Good job and you guys keep enjoying your bikes!

Hey thanks for watching. I had a Honda cbr 300 before I got my from. The grom is obviously slower but it does look better and is way more fun.

Nah 3rd Gen’s are the worst if you wanting to make power or do anything with a bbk. I own (8) Grom’s and a 2019 Monkey. Honda screwed everyone by moving the head studs so much closer. That’s why you’ll never see anything over 151 bbk for 3rd Gen Grom’s and 2nd Gen Monkey’s. Matter of fact until Honda revises the engine again you won’t see anything bigger then 151cc kits. The removable subframe is nice for stunt boys but if you squeeze your legs you’ll break the plastics like Dankwheelie did right out of the dealership years ago. Plenty of fixes for that and you don’t have to worry about how ugly it looks as it’s unseeable anyways. There is a decent amount of people experiencing a whining transmission on 3rd Gen’s but Wayne Strickland has come up with a permanent solution to the lack of oil that causes the problem. Not oil pump related or anything like that. However you can’t keep the 3rd Gen’s from oil starvation during wheelies. The people that make the oil pump mods (SUP and Grom Beardo) already have admitted these aren’t 100% full proof just nothing they can and will ever be able to do so that the oil pumps work 100% like previous Grom’s. So many lately are going back to the older engine and having those built for their 3rd Gen’s. The list goes on and on but those are the key points and stuff that’s easily confirmed within the community.
I tell everyone to pick the bike based on their end goal/build. Or if they don’t know what way they will end up going to just pick the one they thinks looks the best to them. I’m bias but I own every Gen and feel an OG with SF headlight is perfect looking. SF has the most sport bike look and IMO 3rd Gen’s look the best with a 250/300 swap as the flared out fairing help his the radiator the best.
