Best insurance policy on that boat is that awesome mantus m1 that is fitted to your bow. Looks like a 17# but i really cant tell. Could be a 13#. For people who do not know…the Mantus M1 is the best anchor which seems to have been handed to man from God himself.. Yes Im a sailor too. Anyways I really like your vids Alex. Keep up the good work.
Thank you! The Mantus is the 8kg version if I remember correctly. Hands down the best purchase for the boat! Only dragged anchor once and that wasn’t the anchor’s fault but you will see that in some coming episodes.
Brilliant insta360 shots from your boat! Have a great race and enjoy the time with your brother on the sea. Greetings from Germany (Lake Chiemsee), Felix
Great video! Im a novice when it comes to sailing but I have an 1972 Islander 23 in Portsmouth harbour! If you ever want to come sailing your more than welcome 😆👍
Hi ,are the brackets that hold your solar panels on the guard rail new as i recall the 3D printed ones looked different, if so where did you get them as i could do with some like that. Great channel...

Thanks Felix!!!
You're the first TH-camr I've seen sail with both sails, when the wind was 20 knots. Looking good.
Thanks Chuck! 20kts is ideal wind for me!
nice sail 2x👍
Great video!

Sounds like an offer that I can’t refuse! That’s a great boat and I will probably see you out on the water!
Well done
Crackin video as always brother.
I was at Studland Bay over the weekend and a day anchored off Browsea Island.
Stunning coastline
Cheers and I’m glad you got out on the water to experience it!
Thanks great fun
i could have sworn i have seen you sailing alone solo lol
Quite possibly!
Thanks Alex great video again and you are very efficient sailing and recording. Hope you had a great race with Daniel?
Thanks Jeff! All will be seen in the next episode!

Cheers! They are the 3d printed ones that I have made. They are different from the first ones as the panels didn’t last so I got new ones!
Great idea! What solar panels are you using? Would you share the 3d data with your communitiy? 🙏 Best, Felix
@@AlexGoesSailing Did you use a UV resistant filament for printing?
@@felixmuller3036 I would but I can find the panels for sale anywhere so the 3d is basically useless unless I modify it for a different panel.
@@felixmuller3036 yes I used ASA
Nice one buddy :)
Cheers!
In 20kts, my Catalina 25 is at 35 degrees! Did you do any close haul ailing?
The closest I got was a beam but mostly a little lower.
Young man- did you misgender your tiller-pilot? 🙄🤣
Haha I did notice that in the edit! I think I was saying that she the boat was liking it from he the tiller pilot😂
