The Highland Nilotes are subdivided into two groups, the Kalenjin & the Datog. Kalenjin: Elgeyo, Kipsigis, Marakwet, Nandi, Pokot, Sabaot, Terik & Tugen [Keiyo] Datog: mainly the Barabaig & small clusters of other Datog speakers
