This was a the perfect mix for me who was born in the late 90’s. Songs could be played a bit longer but I really enjoyed it. I listen when I’m in the gym.
"Old School" needs a standard, nothing under 10 years should be classed as old school. Thats only my opinion though. But here is the problem .... The audience born after 1995 have a reduced attention span with music, maybe because of the massive volume, hence the short play space of each song. Then maybe after a song gets past 5 years its considered as old. I am forced to do these "short play times" for each song sometimes depending on the audience but I prefer to get a good dance length in before the change. Some of the transitions in this mix are great though.
I see everyone commenting on the quality of the playlist so I go throw in my 2 cents. I listened to this in two settings and it was perfect, gaming, and getting ready to leave the house. Now if you try to run this in a dance, it aint go wuk for me cuz by d time yuh run eeen on a shorty , d song switch, but for everyday vibes, I love it.
I thought the same thing. But it's the internet/online season. Everyone is ready to log off when a song play to long. At least when you thinking of logging off, this dj selected another memory lane tune..... As soon as I reached home, I was about to log off and heard @14:29 "(NYC) Voice - Bass". Lol. I had to stay on for that one. Definitely, memory lane when I drop that song in Miami.
Constructive Criticism: Alot of good songs selected. But they weren't played in the correct order and the mix feels rushed! Meaning you weren't letting the songs play long enough and they were transitioning at a bad point in each song. If you were trying to cram all of those songs, because there are a lot of good songs within those selected years. You were better off making a Part 1 & a Part 2 so your audience could enjoy the songs and the overall mix! Just my opinion.
Love this mix especially for a work out I don't know anything about transition except for when I whining and I didn't skip a beat so thats a plus in my book.
My workout music ❤

it won't be a dance and roll or thief a wine and bounce ...would be more like ease in and stay for three 🙌👍
