There are very few jobs today outside of the lowest entry level position in fast food or slaving away at an Amazon “fulfillment center” that don’t require connections. I don’t hold that kind of thing against her.
Although it is kind of cringy and disingenuous when these second generation show biz types try to downplay their connections and act like they just hopped off the bus from Keokuk .
It is because of comments like these that many of those second generation kida have to hide who they are or at times have it harder. I bet if your kid decides to do what you do you would jump through hoops to get their foot at the door. My point is the first generation suffers and struggles so the second and third generation get a better chance in life. I wouldn't have it any other way.
