I have newly Sony Bravia 55x75K and Samsung Q800B that has Optical in.
      1. My karaoke mixer
      2. Digital to Analog converter
      3. DAC audio converter
I tried connecting from TV via Optical Out to Converter to
Soundbar and the mixer via RCA out of converter. Not working. Has a sound and video but no sound of microphone. And when I connect the mixer 3.5 it doesn’t work sound was muted.
Please advise. I might missing something.

as long as your digital-analog converter is RCA IN to optical out, you'll be good to go. If it's the other way around, it, unfortunately, won't work.

When you connect your microphone to a digital TV, there is one tenth of second sound delay - This does not happen to the analog TV. Since human voice is analog, your digital TV is trying to convert it to digital signal and it makes a delay during this process.

Man yes it does make sense ... recap the mixer is analog, tv and sound bar digital. So you get the signal coming out of your tv (optical ) converted from digital to analog and connect to the mixer.
Step two you get the signal coming out from your mixer to be converted analog to digital and then connect it to the sound bar digital optical connection .....
but in the video it seems that he picture of your analog to digital is wrong ?... please can you let me if I understood correctly? Many thanks
