This has been happening for years. I remember back in the 90s going to one of these spots on Blue Hill Ave. It was an older folks gig but nevertheless a basement afterhours club. Not condoning it or saying its right, but if cops and authorities are acting like its new they are lying.
They came out like roaches tells you exactly how these cops think about the people they swore to serve and protect. Find out where the mayor, police chief and city council members live, drive by every night and call in a complaint about an illegal nightclub anytime they throw a party. How many friends do you need to invite to a party before it becomes a nightclub?
In the 1980's my bands rehearsal place in our basement turned into an after hours club, hosting 3 bands and seating for 40 people - cans of PBR beer for a buck... We did clean up after and neighbors were cool and there were about 5 other bands on our street. We ended it when we got a write up in the Phoenix newspaper as the best after hours club in Boston *lol Do not play with fire.
Oh good god a gun! And loud music! Ahhhhh Those maniacs! how could they? Il bet they even had a can opener and a shoe horn! Our police MUST keep us safe from these horrible threats!Thank god our heros made us safe from that loud music!
No stupid some people actually have lives and work so fortunately the cops shut it down so one of the neighbors didnt loose it and end up on the news they only had 16 bullets between the 3 of them
For a landlord/homeowner, that’s a clear violation of lease which gives him/her the legal right to immediately terminate the lease. I don’t understand why the city is slow to act on this and targeting the landlord instead of the tenants from hell. The landlord is a law abiding, tax paying individual who shouldn’t have to suffer because some low life is destroying the value of that investment.
Yeah, unfortunately according to the United States Supreme Court six versus three justices said it’s perfectly legal to get a “financial tip“ to a politician after they have done something for you. It’s perfectly legal according to federal law. As long as there’s not an agreement beforehand that the politician will do X and they will get something of value. But obviously a wink and a nod agreement might be legal but it’s still a bribe just the same. And if anybody does not know what party the president was who appointed all six of the justices who made that decision, and the other side were all appointed by the other party who said no that during this type of bride is still illegal, then I do not know what to say to that person.
"Every weekend they having these parties...". Where is the Mayor? Where are the cops? Arrest the people that are renting the apartment for running an illegal nightclub! Seems pretty simple to me.
@josephboyce4522 The mayor? 😄😄😄 The police dispurse the people, and write citations for whatever laws they've broken and the landlord starts the eviction process according to the lease stipulations. The mayor doesn't follow the cops around while they do their job. What planet are you from??? 🤦♀️
