Nah I definitely think the post plant spam is easier to deal with. A big problem before was that any time you used util on B main in a retake, you couldn't capitalise on it without pushing because they'd just hide behind the box. Now, you can easily util dump and counter spam B main if they try all play there. Imo trying full B main post plant now will have similar, if not less success than playing full C long on Haven for example I wouldn't have done this change though because I really liked the box in B main, it makes the B main fight a lot more interesting. Now it will probably just be a one way simulator as you said. I would've just removed the stairs plant
@@mckinleyostvig7135 first off they’re not even unbreakable, many abilities can break them. Secondly there’s several other unbreakable trips on other maps that haven’t been questioned. Thirdly if they are gonna remove that trip on sunset they gotta add some other trip-friendly areas to make the cypher setups a bit easier to get down
While the spam might be use I think it’s better to hold the site now. It will be hard to wingman in with 4 angles being able to sting each of the plant locations team will have to actively get in to site. This is especially true since there is no wall in main so a flank can be devastating as they have cover.
its still so easy for attack teams to smoke close market/stairs and get a free b plant. the indent into the wall gives more cover and the side close to market seems impossible to deny. the centered cover in b main getting removed makes it harder for defenders to take an early b main fight. and the one way box is so lame
While i feel like there's more ways to just plant in that corner and just chill on main, I think that these changes somewhat removes the ability for attackers to smoke off and spam as there are way less cover you can hide on on main compared to the current one, where this huge block of a wall just gives you a way to spam, hide, spam, hide. whereas now, youre smoked off and you can still spam, yes, but you are way more at risk of someone spamming you back
that is basically every other map except Ascent B and Split A where you cant spam the site. the main issue before in the Sunset B is multiple angles to spam and you dont have to hide your body which is same in B Pearl before with the ramp (which they removed).
@@Kyuushichi yeah but i feel like it's just more advantageous to just do post plants on-site but I see the problem when you're in a 1vX scenario, then it's incredibly strong to still just go for the spam when out of site
i totally agree with ur concerns about the corner plant, but it doesnt seem like u can plant in that area based on the floor graphics, like theres a different texture so maybe its not that bad and it would be one more space for attackers to play with ?
Komodo (one of the Aussie casters for Pacific Ascension) said that Vyse is not available for Pacific ascension. And Pacific is also playing the pre-buff Astra and Chamber
It 100% DOES NOT. 2 different boxes to play on top of, quarter of area to defuse, and frankly with astra coming back, that new plant spot is going to be a nightmare. I can already see all pro teams running HEAVY post plant comps with astra now and utilizing how easy it’ll be.
If you watch a semi-circle from one their ends, you basically have the same area to shoot than when it's a quarter of a circle. Idk it's the same to me. (Idk why I'm explain how GEOMETRY works)
@@soraorganik and? U r assuming all players r shooting dead on in a straight line. That is not how geometry works and not how an angle works. It is no where near as hard to shoot someone when they have only a corner than when they have a semi circle. Stair depth exists as well so there is literally 0 way you can treat every semi circle as a quarter of a circle bc of “a straight line FOV”. Don’t correct geometry when you don’t know what your talking about
You're both wrong and right. The defuse range is the same it's still going to be the radius of the defuse ( the spam length only gets bigger at certain angles but it's literally impossible to go any smaller than the radius of the defuse) except now you can spam from both main and market. Imo the real big changes are the ones back site, the changes make it easier to defend meaning if defenders can keep back site control retaking is easy but if they lose it, it becomes infinitely more difficult to retake in other words back site becomes util dump heaven
If you want the math the min leng to be spammed before the change is R and the max is 2R or D. After changes the minimum remains R but the max changes to √(2R^2) So op is right in some angles will be reduced but the other guy is correct in saying it ain't going below the length of R
@@DankSammy this was a whole lot of explanation about how I am right and how he is only right in a straight line view of the bomb. This is simple math the radius obviously can not shrink it’s still a circle
"one tricks that might fall off if they nerf the trips" ;-;
Spawns lmao

At least it kills the unbreakable trip
No that was like the only good trip on the entire map, idk how tf imma play cypher on it now 😭
@@bandit2613 unbreakable trips are poor game design and should not exist.

Bunset lives on
MAN ITS ALWAYS LIKE THIS they introduce a new agent and to make that agent the main character they nerd all other agents in similar category
great video

Sage wall, molly the left, spray it while wingman plants, then play main spam again 😂 They even put up a lil box to protect main spammers from a flank
