Hi Tudor. Many thanks for giving a 67 year old amateur hobbyist photographer recognizable, slightly out of focus photos, and compositions I myself would take. I've been learning about 5 years and still feel very inadequate, yet still enjoy the whole process. Your photo videos are great, and your chatty ways make your videos pure pleasure from beginning to end. I truly look forward to your videos twice a week. How you show age has nothing to do with enjoyment or ability to learn as you go is wonderful to perceive. Thank you once again, and may you have many more years of fun and enjoyment. Regards Sean
I often take a shot and think I’ve got it in the bag only later to find parts of it are out of focus and I think “drat” but as you say, the whole process is enjoyable so I don’t mind. I’ve still got loads to learn and sometimes I do get a corker of a shot. But what’s the fun in documenting my progress if all I ever present are 100% perfect images.
Thank you for your kind words 🙏
The frost and mist was great for photography :)
Mike Oldfield song was moonlight shadow and Cat Stevens song was Moonshadow
Ah yes that’s the one 👍
Excellent CR,12 thank you Tudor Roll ON!
Many thanks!
Love the Robin images ,and the moon I thought of Moon River . Roll on Tudor .
Oh yeah I didn’t think of that song 👍
Hi Tudor an idea for your focus stacking attempt is to go to your local florist and see if they will sell you a couple of flowers that you could put in a vase and then practice the technique hope this helps.
I like that idea. Short of picking up a cheap bouquet at Tesco I might see what plantage I have in the garden I can pick and practice on 👍
Back button focusing will improve your hit rate on Bird or wildlife photography
Ah yes I always forget about the back button focusing. I just don’t use it enough for it to become second nature.
Thanks for sharing Tudor.... great results of small 12:18 birds ss they are not easy to focus on..all other shots were interesting as well., maybe use F8 more as generally the lens sweet spot...just trial & error shooting... cheers from Australia 🦘🦘😊
You’re the second to suggest f8. I’m gonna give it a go 👍
Hi Tudor, you could try F8, which can be the sweet spot for most lenses. As tryonewhitehead2737 Moon River, that what came to my mine as I watched.
f8 - thanks Martin I’ll try and remember 👍
