Another reason shoplifting can affect everyone else is that a lot of stores will account for theft and increase their prices to make up for the loss. So in a lot of cases its actually the rest of us that end up paying more for the stock thats being stolen by others. Given that most of us are living paycheck to paycheck too, that actually affects us quite a lot.
That's just bs big surfaces give to increase prices and keep on cucking the populus. That would only be acceptable with local/small businesses, if you see the recent and astronomical profits of companies like Walmart in the last year you would start shoplifting too.

@@MykoMethod Eh nah. Literally doesn’t happen unless its a mom and pop shop. Which your original comment is clearly not insinuating. the examples jackson and andrew bring up at the beginning aren’t really what we talk about when we talk about dealing with confrontation though. complaining to a service worker whose ability to argue is severely limited isn’t the same as getting into it with someone on more equal footing, such as a friend, relative, lover, random stranger, etc. It’s not really an argument or a debate, which is what we’re generally talking about when we ask someone how they do with confrontation. not that they’re completely invalid examples, but someone who loves complaining to workers/managers may fold when presented with someone who can really argue/fight back (e.g. the neighbor jackson cites in his own situation). i know such people and i wouldn’t say they actually like confrontation.

On the topic of confrontation, I have a recent example of a woman and her husband sitting right next to me and my sister at an almost empty movie theater. The woman even cracked a joke about it as she was taking the seat so she knew what she was doing. I have truly found that 80% of the time, it is not worth arguing or talking to these people. More times than not, there will no understanding of the situation and it causes even more drama. The couple gave us nasty looks as we got up and moved over a seat, but it really felt like the only option that wouldn't ruin our movie experience. My family rarely goes out because of how much we hate the people in our community, and it is in Florida btw.

I don't feel bad when someone shoplifts from big chain stores. I don't condone stealing in general, if you can help it. But I'm not going to shed tears over a company that makes multiple billion dollars a year Also stealing from individuals is scum
It's not the company but the effects it has on everyone else. These companies operate on pretty low margins and rely on volume for profit so theft effects them a lot more. So theft will just force them to leave and fuck everyone that was depending on their low prices to survive.
not only stealing but especially scamming ppl. But for some reason ppl normalize it and will even justify the friends around them. Cops don't care or anything. This world is fucked
his point about stealing was so stupid. so a homeless person steals something from a store like bread or a chocolate bar that means everyone is going to start stealing and thus the end of civilisation as we know it?! bro just shutup, your takes are 1 dimensional. it's also not the job of a shop floor worker to chase after criminals and do the job of police/security.

I hope you are having a excellent day Charlie
Wow Jackson you have finally blessed us with your face again
As a diabetic, the comment before 26:26 is my biggest fear that someone won't know what my stuff is and see it as just something valuable when it's literally my only way of living
even if they knew what insulin was it's still valuable on the black market
It do be valuable though... Gotta snatch it!
The intro is the goofiest gaming channel dubstep intro it’s the best
Protagonist doesn't mean "good guy". Protagonist means "main character".
If you had a movie where Hitler was the protagonist, then he would still be a bad guy AND the protagonist.
Andrew didn't pay attention during high school English class.
Lmao Black Adam is a VILLAIN this movie made him a HERO PROTAGONIST because of the rock's demands. Get it?
I handle confrontation by saying, “stop being mean to me. 🥺”
...
1:16:52 as a 5'2 man, I can confirm being bald would be better than needing a stool to help reach high places
edit: messed up the timestamp oops
Man I feel like Ive heard this episode come out two or three times specifically the Jacksons neighbor story, heavy deja vu
On a serious note, the voice crack at 30:56 is just 🤌
20:00 ive seen that video and just hearing about it makes me want to cry
Hey Charlie my parents love your videos keep up the good work
Jackson looks like the default model in the character creator in tony hawks underground
Just finished watching the last one and this one comes out 😲
I’m 24 from Pennsylvania, I’ve never had my car broken into and never heard of anyone who had their car broken into in my local area. It’s so wild they just let that happen in California
9:00 it takes like an hour to smoke a cigar, you can choke down a ciggy in like a minute.
Husband needs to get into the vape game fr fr
I know more ex vapers with lung issues than current smokers with lung issues, I know 5 people who vape, 3 of which have issues while only 2 of the 9 smokers I know do, I’ll take my chances with real tobacco
@@badrott8028 good luck lol
@@badrott8028I have no idea why people think vaping is better. They’re both equally bad
i remember when i got one of my first thc carts that i had to get rid off so when we went to a work place i put it into a garden pot i could reach across the fence on the other property, I hope no teenager/young adult is getting scolded 5+ years later. trash can was to complicated for me at the time
ngl i thought kaya was sitting there with that smug look on his face for way too long before i realized it was a picture i was looking at
Best kaya preformance in months
That execution in the street happened in my area. Dude was a war vet that was pushed too far I guess… sad case
The new zoom for andrew is so gooooooood! :D
I wish our old friend Daniel Naroditsky was on the podcast some day. He is well spoken and thoughtful and an old friend of Charlie.
Shoutout for my man Jackson!! Finally has his camera on. 😂🎉🎉
I loved having Jackson's camera on this time. Just a nice little change
The video charlie was talking about at around 20:00 is haunting. Presumably the daughter of the couple saw it all as well. It's absolutely fucked.
I watched it to see what they were talking about and gore usually never bothers me but thay video was so fucked
I think I’ll watch one of these and see if I should binge these front 1 to most recent.
I forgot what Jackson looked like 😆
the vegan part had me laughing its been a minute from the show!
Watched the whole thing 30 times and loved every minute of it
Bruh it was just posted
same
It came out a minute ago
it came out 1 min ago
It came out 1 min ago
“That’s a charisma check!” I’m dead 😂😂😂
hows the afterlife
Charlie sits so still its hard to tell that his camera on sometimes .
I had the same thing with neighbors dropping cigg butts down my fence
Hell yeah Charlie this podcast is legendary
@YeaMan .
33:22 as someone who's been homeless for a while you can be vegetarian easily, vegan is hard but I've met several people who do
On the 6th week of being homeless while working daily jobs as a contractor and living off of free food handed out by volunteers, I started eating ham. The conversation surrounding who needs it and what is theft in this podcast is incredibly shallow and tone deaf.
charlie has the best videos by far, not to mention podcasts
I was shaving with my Harry's razor when the Harry's razor ad came on 😆
Jackson's beautiful face is back!
Jackson is finally moving.
@YeaMan I think your a bot
16:50 they were probably listening to music while in the shower, I know a few people who do that and it's always super loud.
39:10 typically Pain and Suffering refers to those things physically. For mental grief or trauma, it would be emotional distress/mental anguish, and it would have to be proven by mental health professionals who have treated the families for their trauma.
Once I was walking my dog. And this dog out of nowhere tries to attack mine. Me trying to defend my smaller dog kicked this dog for him to get away. Then the dog owner appeared and started running in my direction. He literally got in my face yelling that I shouldn't have kicked his dog. And I told him to back off and that his dog attacked mine. The dude couldn't care less, he was ready for a fight. I had to create some space because the dude was much bigger than me and me in my 30s that never was in a fight, didn't want anything to do with this absolutely maniac... And when I was walking away while the dude was literally bitting his tongue and you could see he was possessed by anger and hate, his father appeared and also started yelling and coming in my direction. I was like I'm out fuck this...
Since then everytime I go walk my dog I bring a wooden stick. If someone wants to mess with me again they will eat the stick first before me haha
I had to go watch that video after you guys were talking about it. Wow! That truly was haunting. What a thing to piss 3 lives away over.. Nutjobs with guns scare the shit out of me.
If I know I'm not in the wrong it's easy as hell. If I feel even slightly bad for my part in anything it gets way harder.
Great video bro
I stg the intro goes foolishly hard
🔥
Jackson has one of them moving pictures going on, nice!
Finally!! Jackson's camera is working again! But Kaya should have his fixed!
I don't feel bad when someone shoplifts from big chain stores. I don't condone stealing in general, if you can help it. But I'm not going to shed tears over a company that makes multiple billion dollars a year
Also stealing from individuals is scum
It's not the company but the effects it has on everyone else. These companies operate on pretty low margins and rely on volume for profit so theft effects them a lot more. So theft will just force them to leave and fuck everyone that was depending on their low prices to survive.
not only stealing but especially scamming ppl. But for some reason ppl normalize it and will even justify the friends around them. Cops don't care or anything. This world is fucked
Been waiting for this
can we just appreciate how good kaya is at staying still
thanks to the official podcast i am now fearful of every social interaction to exist.
i will now live in a soundproof bunker for the rest of my life.
I don’t understand why anyone would VOLUNTARILY spend time with Kaya, let alone call him a friend.
agreed lmao, dude is ITCHING to bring the convo to some weird vaguely politically charged drivel nearly every episode i've listened to.
Kayas a freak, hope the guy gets humbled
Because there are people in the world that can tolerate another's opinion if there's some goodness to them
his point about stealing was so stupid. so a homeless person steals something from a store like bread or a chocolate bar that means everyone is going to start stealing and thus the end of civilisation as we know it?! bro just shutup, your takes are 1 dimensional. it's also not the job of a shop floor worker to chase after criminals and do the job of police/security.
OMG MORE THAN JUST 2 MP4s LETS GOOOOOOO
75% of the team has their camera on! Only 25% to go!
The boys are back baby let's fucking go
33:17 So, if a Muslim person can't afford food, they do not deserve to abide by the dietary restrictions of their religion. I.e., the poor do not have freedom of religion?
Bad takes, guys. This sounds super privileged and out of touch with the struggles of the poor and working class people.
The economy is really bad out there for regular folks. I don't think they understand this.
Holy shit! Jackson's camera is working!
Imagine one second telling a audience its ok to pirate and steal and its justified. Immediately turning around to say stealing is wrong.... hmmmm there's a word coming to mine and its starts with an H and ends with ypocrite.... nooo that can't be, clearly when the host steal its a good thing and completely different the instant they aren't the one benefiting, that can't be it, nope.....
Yeah sometimes they have L takes / echo chamber
@@grimdeth2197 i like the guys for the most part but damn they can be massive hypocrites at times and its just infuriating because they will just use schrodinger's douchebag if they are called out. tho i have a massive bias towards anyone who uses schrodinger's DB as a excuse.
My old upstairs neighbor was so loud my friends and I referred to them as Hippos lol
Kaya's the type of person who would advocate for more extreme anti-homeless design.
He's got just barely enough self-awareness to know not to say "gay people are mentally ill", but just barely
That thumbnail gave me Wilson vibes. 👀
The bpd girlfriend comment was rough. Not everyone who has bpd is like that!
Yeah I'd expect nothing less from Kaya
Tbh I’m more shocked that he didn’t go on a 30 minute rant
@@ey3z4ya Yeah I don’t even know why I’m surprised about it honestly, we’ve really heard it (almost) all from him at this point, but that one just made me physically wince…
