You’re absolutely right to direct the blame for the PCO’s inadequacies on the employer. If a man without a job and no income is offered a position with the police force likely he’ll take it, whether he is suitable for the position or not and whether it’s within his ambition or not. Anyone new to these islands would be over the moon to land this type of paid employment.
The fault for their inefficiency lies with the employer - in this case the police force.

I almost feel sorry for the two PCSOs because they are so pointless. Chris is about as sincere as a used car salesman, and he still doesn’t get the basics of his job after his 14 plus years that he should verbal identify himself as police officer when approaching a member of the public (especially in plain clothes) and show his warrant card (hopefully he’ll get the hang of it over the next 14 years).

I had an interesting one. I made a complaint that the Met was racist regarding a particular area.
So the Sgt rang me yesterday to put the excuses over. Namely they weren't racist and didn't have resources.
So I started going through the evidence for the racism, including things like other police talking about the racist policy on camera. The lack of policing etc and more. ie. Hard evidence.
At that point she started getting very angry. A sure sign that she knows its wrong and goes on the attack.

@@engineeringvision9507 well they cut my clothes off with scissors to search me while I was cuffed and held down on a mattress in my cell, left me naked in the cell for a long while during winter before giving me a white suit and plimsolls. Gave me beans and gravy to eat 😂, and they beat me up after I dipped a polystyrene cup in the toilet, jumped up and stuck it to the cctv unit and used my mattress to cover the door so they couldn't see in (which means they can't enter until they can see inside). Then they discharged me in the dead of the night without even a piece of paper, literally on the North circular. (I got NFA by the way) I don't know how many cells there is, since I got carried to mine horizontally, but the building is as modern as it comes. The other two need to brush up on the Body Worn policy especially the old guy who has had 14 years to read it , but obviously not got round to it yet.
Might be fun if another Auditor pops round soon to check up on their education:)
Focus Pocus would do an excellent job there.

Fines for breaching GDPR can be really high, so someone, somewhere needs to ensure that anyone wearing a BWC as part of their job understandins the accompanying responsibilities. If the police can't get it right, the abuse of people's civil liberties by officers of all stripes will continue to go unpunished.

Detective Sergeant at 12:47, quote: _"Not enough people are stoic enough, these days."_
    Oh, REALLY?
    *Definition of stoic...*
_- of or relating to the school of philosophy founded by Zeno, who taught that people should be free from passion, unmoved by joy or grief, and submit without complaint to unavoidable necessity._
No wonder he wants people to be stoic!!! 🤦‍♂

The detective has a warrant number not a shoulder number. That’s what you need to identify him. They create a report to add to the database on you. They record everywhere you’ve been, your description, demeanour, vocabulary, ethnic origin, time in the area. I think you can obtain it by the freedom of information act. AB yours must be a sight for sore eyes. Love you to get it and publish it. Not sure if it’s held nationally or in each police area. If you get taken to court they use it as a way of showing intent.

They object to cameras recording yet they do it and try to pull authority over an innocent man. They also forget, the precious stations are recorded on Google Earth and Google Street view! 🤣🤣

The more of these I see the less I recognise the country I once loved. Plod shops now resemble fortresses, all in the name of keeping you safe you understand, patrolled by people barely able to speak the native language, dressed up in an outfit that look like rags, with an unfathomable limited knowledge of the law of the land. All in the need to "keep you safe" unless of course you post a mean tweet!

They were confused how AB found the place, they disguised the custody station so well with a different style of wire fence in black. Superintendent said nobody would suspect a police station was there to record.

As others have said, the Detective Sargent should have identified himself before he questioned you, especially as he was conducting official duties of 'Stop and Account'. Otherwise, he was ok.

You're right, in 40 years Rowan Atkinson would be aged 107 years, but in our imagination anything is possible.
I must comment by saying to you that TH-cams suddenly sprang to life in February 2005. You've been a TH-camr since September 19, 2006. 5hat's sixteen years ago. However, taking into consideration that your anniversary is nigh approaching in another eight days, that's a tad shy of seventeen years.
Furthermore, for those who post responses to my comments, I do take time to read about some of the respondents' channel information. You, Sir are the only TH-camr that I've noticed to have been around for seventeen years.
Personally I think that's amazing, where and in what condition will TH-cam will be next year or in a another seventeen years is anybody's guess.
Finally, for enduring TH-cam throughout the years, you deserve a commendation and an early birthday gift. Happy birthday, please accept my humble offer to be your second subscriber. 🎁
