    Great fishing boys....... Was thinking when you were holding the flatty hope he doesnt kick on you cause thats going to hurt...... Great release shot under water with the blood trail from your thumb......

      Hahaha yeah it was a bit rough, always seems to be the little ones get me the best. Had a pinky spine in my thumb for a year before it formed a big enough cyst that it was pushed to the surface so I could get at it 😂

    Love the vid mate. Bit of a novice here.... what bait and what rig are you running? Also looks like you’ve head out at low tide?

    • @adventureboundd
      @adventureboundd  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey man, fresh caught prawns are best or pretty much any bait you’ve collected yourself. Then a running sinker with around 10lb main line, it was a run out tide 🍻

    I was gonna say you’re brave holding the flatty like that

    Hey what line do you use for main and trace in lbs thanks

    • @adventureboundd
      @adventureboundd  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Andrew, depends what you’re targeting I Spose. Estuary species you can get away with 6lb main & 8lb trace, I normally run 10lb main & 12lb trace in case I hook a big flatty or something. If I was fishing off a boat I wouldn’t go lighter than 20 main 30 trace, double that for kings

    Circle hooks will help your gut hooking issues.

      @adventureboundd  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      There’s no shortage of bream in there bud, especially in the top lake

      @@adventureboundd Bream are a slow growing fish. You know how old that bream would be? Plenty of other eating fish in that area. It’s not like you’d starve without it.

      @@seymourskinner2533 yeah 20 or so years, if they start getting thin on the ground I’ll leave them be but like I said they’re everywhere man
