I'm not interested in conclusions from the media. Especially from British media. After all, Max still defeated Hamilton, right? At his age? Hamilton did great for sure, but when matching it, you clearly see that the achievement Max vs this defeated driver that regarding the ages, Max is way more ahead already. It can't be denied. So yes, Max vs all other drivers from now and from the past regarding age and level, Max "IS" unique. In my opinion, you can call Max the best for now. He knows it and Max doesn't care either. He drives and he enjoying it. This is all that matters. In England, you just need to live with that fact and roll over. New talent will come for sure, but it's just NOT proven YET 🫵🏼😎
Max is not only the best F1 driver of all times, he is the very best driver of all times... I hope we may see him in other race classes after formula one. Mark my words: Max will dominate ANY racing class he will compete in.
Lets see how he goes when, or even if, he goes to a team that isn't built around him. Everyone was saying similar things about Vettel until he left the cradle of Red Bull and got out into the real world. Verstappens a huge talent, no mistake, but he's no Senna, he's no Clark, he's no Fangio.
“Or did this level of Redbull dominance elevate him to this level”, does this also apply to Lewis with Mercedes, Schumacher with Ferrari and Vettel also with Redbull? It’s a bullshit statement to make…

@00:10 The most remarkable is that only Red Bull has been able to achieve the consecutive 4 WDC's directly following the very first WDC, TWICE! Unbelievable-a British presenter like Brundle is hosting this. The constant diminishing of non-British drivers is beyond acceptable. Sorry, but this has become too easy to spot as unbelievable. For years, you have gone too far with your toxic, biased negativity toward non-British talent.
2021 was not his win it was gifted, I discount it completely. Not to take anything away from him, he is a superb driver. All time great, well only if he wins 8 titles. 2025 he we founder I think, but not because of his driving the car is simply not fast enough anymore. We shall see.
I disagree on this. Max deserved to win the 2021 season. We can argue about wether or not Lewis deserves to win the final race. On tactics alone, Red Bull did the best option to change tires and Mercedes was stupid to leave Lewis out with old tires. But I agree that if the incident didn't happen, Lewis would have won that race. Of course, we can't forget that Lewis got a free pass outside of the track on Max that was not penalised in that race either.
2021 he made less mistakes and was more unfortunately than Lewis. If you talk about the last race you're right. Massi made a mistake but Max deserved it when you take the whole season
Wasn’t Martin Brundle the person who cheated with an illegal engine in the Formula 3 equivalent against Senna. Martin also calls out the non British drivers as having questionable tactics while overlooking the the Brits questionable tactics
I was thinking the same. Claiming Max does not care for a reputation of a clean racer while in the end his competitors (though British) have done worse. Hamilton obviously in '21 but even NOR. The start in Spain for instance, putting VER on the grass in front of a stampede of 18 thundering F1 cars is as dangerous as you can get. Not a class act and I am sure if Max would have done that we would have seen plenty of re-runs of that action and hear a lot of condemn. With NOR no one cares and if even mentioned the response is, well it is not that Max is not aggressive. So framing Max the villain will inevitable turn him into one, since literaly every incident he is involved in you can make him perpetrator. Nobody is playing nice, don't get me wrong, Max is no saint, but I feel he is singled out for a reason and that reason is simply not being British. Take Austria this season for instance. What really happened was NOR being Bambi on ice in his overtaking attempts. Of course VER is trying to keep the lead, but he left more than enough room for Lando who ran into Max because...?
By the way, no driver has ever won a DWC after turning 40 years old. If Hamilton manages that with Ferrari (he doesn't even speak Italian) that would be astonishing.
Once Max has 8 or more championships under his belt, then and only then can he be called the greatest. Drivers that have more titles than him, Hamilton and Schumacher spring to mind are still far greater than Max. also Once his accumulated the most poles, the most wins, the most points, and holds more records then Hamilton then and only then Maybe. He Still has a long way to go before that happens...
That is a good point tho it does then you miss people like Senna. Prices are fun and games but isnt everything. 2023 max increased his wins poles and everything a lot even tho that wouldnt be the most impressive year. He did impress and destroy everybody including his teammate and be so good his team ignored problems and let the car go to shit. But he also had the best car by far enough that Checo always got second. Schumacher and Hamilton are rly great drivers but didnt go head to head or drove the exact same car or had the best car in the same way etc etc. People these days are so focussed on the goat of sport instead of just realizing that 3 or 4 people who were great in different times are the goat of those years but cant compare to the other ones.
Martin Brundle is a very frustrated guy, has NEVER won a single competition in his career and has only been on the podium 9 times in all those years... and we should take this figure seriously? I am 74 years old and have seen F1 since the mid-1960s in Zandvoort with Jim Clark (the sympathetic Scot with 2 World Championship titles, unfortunately died much too early in 1968), Emerson Fittipaldi, Lauda, Nelson Piquet, etc.... THOSE were Drivers (with a capital letter) you took your hat off to, which unfortunately I don't do with Hamilton, who doesn't have anything as special as Max Verstappen, Ayrton Senna and Michael Schumacher....so I would say Mr. Brundle: Please dim down (a Dutch statement)🙄 (translate by Google)
It's sad that guys with this much talent and skill, Schumacher, Senna, Max feel they need to resort to the kind of pathetically un-sportsman like tactics they do when it gets a little tougher for them.
Firstly, Max won his first title when he shouldn’t have. He won by default under a huge cloud of incompetence from the race director. He was superb, and genuinely only millimetres behind, but EVERYONE knows that Max should have come second in that season and Lewis should have won. That puts a different slant on things. Had that cock-up not occurred Lewis would now have his record breaking eight and Max would only have three. Three world titles does not make you a contender for GOAT, not when it is compared to eight. Secondly, Max drives like a thug. He stretches the rules like no other. He demonstrates less concern for his own safety than virtually any other driver has ever done. He threatens the safety of other drivers and unapologetically drives them off the road. As an Englishman I follow my national trait of abhorrence for ungentlemanly conduct in sport. Max inflames me with indignation with his antics and, like my fellow Brits Martin Brundle and Lewis Hamilton, I feel that winning cleanly is to be applauded, winning at all costs is not really what I like to see. So, for me, Max could NEVER be the GOAT. He simply doesn’t have what it takes. Compare Max to Valentino Rossi. Now he wasn’t British but he didn’t cheat either. A wonderful man with an incredible talent who still showed respect and regard for his fellow competitors. Truly Valentino was the Greatest Of All Time, and he rode hard but fair to do it, something Max is just incapable of doing.
2021 yes Max should have won anyway just on circumstances were bad for him, of course Max his DNF's and Silverstone was luck for LH to be able to stand there in 2021. No British speak of Massa while diminishing Lewis's seven titles compared to six. Lewis has almost always had the fastest car, with a 30-50 BHP advantage when he won-similar to Max with the 2023 car. However, Max had that kind of dominant car for a shorter time than Lewis had with his dominant Mercedes. FYI Lewis career before F1 wasnt bright at all, even Piastri has better figures.. I can understand 2021 AD must have been disappointing for LH-fans, but stating that championship belonged to Lewis is delusional. You can argue LH deserved to win that specific race (allthough Mercedes can thank themselves for their strategy), but over the season MV was stronger in a lesser car. If it weren't for Silverstone where Lewis torpedoed his rival to another realm, that last race would have been irrelevant.
The F1 underdogs are lifetime heroes, families that spend their lifetime savings on their kids to succeed and do.. those are the true champions ….max,,, daddy pays for everything,,,,everything is on a silver platter…
The F1 CAR REGULATIONS dictate the World Champion...NOT THE DRIVER, BUT HOW THE CAR WAS ENGINEERED AND SET UP. Look at all the past 4 time world champions, their car was better due to how they interpreted that 4 year rule cycle. Yes, each driver was good, not great since how did they do later without the engineering secret put on their car. So, stop making these drivers out to be saviors or super hero's. How did Max do when Mercedes had the magic secret on their car, how did Hamilton do when he didn't have the magic secret and Red Bull did. All the drivers in the field can be world champions.... with a car that has the magic secret that gives an advantage for four years. Michael had magic tires from Bridgestone, Lewis had a magic drive shaft lowering the center of gravity, later had magic steering, Vetel had a magic double blown diffuser same as Jenson Button, Max has had magic braking that as soon as it was outlawed his car didn't seem to have the same pace. Whatever team has the magic sauce for four years will most likely be world champion. I wonder what Max will to in 2025 without his magic engineering brakes?
Max Divebomber, is definitely fast driver.. could be also great champion and a roll model, only if the regulators didn’t fancy show and money instead of sportsmanship, character and true craftsmanship..
Sorry, brilliant talent and driver. A title winner but somehow his sportsmanship is out of kilter with the behaviour of a champion. When he learns some grace he will truly be a champion.
But he hasn't won 4 has he. He stole one from Lewis and this year he has run an illegal car for the first 7 races or he would not be champion. So we all know that he can be a good driver when he stops ramming into people and pushing them off the track but as yet he doesn't hold a candle to the other great champions. He still has that silly young boy about him and needs to grow up.

Silverstone 2021 was deliberate.
But Hamilton was not a dirty driver and he lied to the stewards
it's 2025 mate, stop crying.
@@mavadelostop crying about AD 21 . We'll stop as well
Lewis had the most dominant car in F1 history helping him get 6 of those 7 titles
And? Driver & car excellence right, that’s the Formula, right? I’m Not understanding your point?? 😊
@@pamelab.7131the point is that in the conversation of greatest ‘driver’ Lewis was aided much more by his machinery. When max had a dominant car he won 19 races in a season.
@@pamelab.7131 I guess the point is that max has won more wdc than lewis driving the not-the-fastest-car, Like the 2024 season.

He wins titles when the whole British media and Johnny Herbert try everything in their powers to give the wins to Hamilton.
😂😂😂👍
Motivation is key, dude is driving f1, doing sim time AND plays sim racing most of his free time... the amount of racing hours he has is more then of all of the peloton probably except Alonso.. If max will be driving at least 10 years more he can easily surpass any other achievements there is in F1 ..the only thing in consideration is motivation...
Remarkable comments from a Verstappen critical. Perhaps the result of Max’s open and clean point of view om the UK (read Sky Sports) press.
to be honnest ,it ios refreshing to hear Mr. Brundle say something possitive about MV If he would be some more nier during races his knowledge is great to tear
Martin Brundle, it takes one to see one... That's probably why you don't see it.
AS "IF" It "MATTERS"!!! LOL!!
Potentially gaining his 4th title? Already happened buddy
It’s not like this was released yesterday by sky…..
Without a doubt he is very talanted.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Yes because you know😂
“Or did this level of Redbull dominance elevate him to this level”, does this also apply to Lewis with Mercedes, Schumacher with Ferrari and Vettel also with Redbull? It’s a bullshit statement to make…
With the right passport you can do anything 😂
Martin Bundle is a slime ball, first talking nasty about Verstappen, second totally neglecting Verstappen ( he is not a British driver) and now trying to get back on the game and praising Verstappen seeing Verstappen will go higher in rank. Be careful for people like Brundle.
@00:10 The most remarkable is that only Red Bull has been able to achieve the consecutive 4 WDC's directly following the very first WDC, TWICE!
The only ones ever to have done this were Sebastian Vettel and now Max Verstappen!👴🤯⭐⭐⭐⭐
But no, those Brits produce a different list with 4 consecutive WDC's won, but containing of course at least one countryman. Unbelievably small, and so very predictable.👴🤮

Unbelievable-a British presenter like Brundle is hosting this. The constant diminishing of non-British drivers is beyond acceptable. Sorry, but this has become too easy to spot as unbelievable. For years, you have gone too far with your toxic, biased negativity toward non-British talent.
Michael was the best ever, Senna/ Max
I am a F1 addict for over 50 years.
2021 !
Do it , in any form is special!
I am a Lewis Fan,Max Fan , F1 Fan.
like this post
I am a 100% Max fan.
But for as now, Senna is the greatest for me.
Maybe nest year i'll have to reconsidder.
Natural talent is obviously one of the most important aspects but Red Bull is another…!
why are you yelling at me?
I saw a compilation of lewis Hamiltons fair drivingskills real gentelmenlike.

But you have to include temperament, the ability to keep your head when things aren't going your way. Max, on occasions suffers the red mist syndrome.
By the way, no driver has ever won a DWC after turning 40 years old. If Hamilton manages that with Ferrari (he doesn't even speak Italian) that would be astonishing.

Ill give him 3 championships but the first one we all now not his..daddy probably had something to turn the tide..so let's be real
I hate these clickbaity titles.
I noticed how he mentioned the way senna and Schumacher would cheat, but conveniently leave out what max does….
I was at RBR HQ for the Abu Dhabi GP - a dutch RB fan said to me "As a Dutchman speaking about another Dutchman... he's a little prick"...
Of course there are always haters around. Even the dutch big prick who said that!
Brundle sounds like he has a mouth full of bullshit. Give the facts I could care less about his opinions.
Brundle: Please dim down (a Dutch statement)🙄
(translate by Google)
Only as good as the cheats on the car
Martin Brundle has turned into such a woke crybaby I cringe whenever they let him in the booth during races... too soft
Still needs to grow up and stop driving dirty.

Max made less faults then lewis and had more bad luck. He deserved the title. If you talk about only the last race he didn't
How do you explain the fact that most of the teammates of Vettel Senna Schumacher Hamilton or Verstappen did not get the same results?
Max Divebomber, is definitely fast driver.. could be also great champion and a roll model, only if the regulators didn’t fancy show and money instead of sportsmanship, character and true craftsmanship..
Sorry, brilliant talent and driver. A title winner but somehow his sportsmanship is out of kilter with the behaviour of a champion. When he learns some grace he will truly be a champion.
He already is one of the most nice real persons in F1. British biase makes everything look more worse. Thats what brainwashing does.
Sad ......
He’s won only four there is two drivers above him nearly double and bear in mind the first one was wrong
