I salute Dr Olumide’s courage and foresight to push this message. I am still listening and learning however i have certain comments. I feel the system of lower high school or junior secondary school is essential but must be intentional. The Nigerian system was designed to be so but it was influenced otherwise. JSS was signed for self discovery and exploration of careers. Sadly the cast system and elite mentality corrupted it where certain courses were promoted as superior and better of. Most of us who innately are gifted with sounds, words and other gifts were forced to go after STEM courses or become ‘science students’. So much to talk about and advocacy for reforms especially in this era were university education is also becoming obsolete
The basic things we need in education is to read write a know arithmetic, how to count your money then aquire skills. Thank you Dr. Olumide

Great message sir. I am so happy to hear this from you. I have been saying this for years but people only muck me. 7 years ago I wrote a book called "Certificate is not enough ", I only produces the sample copies and no one could believe bc they are consumed with certificate. Some even labeled me "mad" , some said that over study and bible dey worry me.

If you are a teacher/lecturer , listening to this ryt nw, don't be discouraged even in China(the hub of technology) they are still in need of Teachers/Lecturers... Upgrade your skills by in coperating tech....

Africans and Nigerians in particular need to have some courage to redefine our educational curriculum from primary to University.
We have to copy only what will make us line others and not our true identity.
Check the Igbo apprentice model for instance, many mocked them for wearing short Nika doing apprentice for 5 years or so and ended up mastering a skill that put them, person, on the path of financial freedom.
Yet, another person goes to
Preschool
Nursery
Primary school
Secondary school
University and still confused, complaining the government did not create opportunities for him/her.
The educational system we have right now to a large extent has ducked many potential
AI's are demons.
Just like they said TV is a demon box. We need an awakening. What the devil intended for evil God intended it for good. Let them give us a platform to use to advance the kingdom of God
