We left Osnabrück for Tidworth in 1993. We lived on that huge Army estate in Belm. The tank regiment in Imphal barracks was 4RTR, which was stationed there from 1984-1993 and then amalgamated with 1RTR
Thanks you guys for also taking me down memory lane. I'm English 53 yrs. Live in Osnabrück now for over 35 years, remember the army and all the fun we had back then. My sister married a REME soldier in 1988 and eventually moved back to the UK. Our family stayed here (Dad German) lovely to see you drive round and to see everything, it's really changed but I can't quite remember everything either. Thank you both so much for a beautiful trip down memory lane, when the world was still a good and happy place. The pub next to The Zwiebel (The Onion) used to be called The Stiefel and is still there.😊🇬🇧👍🌞
I was stationed at Robert’s Barracks 37 Squadron Royal Engineers, 1964 to 1968. Great memories. Tanks for the video. Regards from Chapel Hill North Carolina.
