IRL dropping your tire pressure allows for more surface area of the tire to grab more sand and allows the tire to form to the always changing surface which will give more traction which I believe also apply's in this game. Hopefully they also come out with a paddle tire for this game if the physics emulated real life, just would think that would take so much processing power to calculates everything going on like it would IRL. A paddle tire works wonders on sand track which you always want to keep your forward momentum and inertia going toward at all times, as soon as you slow down, you sink in the sand and it gets harder to move forward. If you were to use a paddle tire on a harder track soil or surface it would negatively affect your cornering as cornering on a paddles create an unstable bike and cornering which would honestly make sense to anyone with half a brain. Those new MX14 paddle tires this year are a favorite of many riders, especially at tracks like the Southwick 338. Tomac was using the MX14 at tracks that you wouldn't think would favor a paddle setup like Jersey Martins parents track at Millville as their is really only a shirt section of sand but I believe the dirt there is pretty soft and loose as well which might work in that tires favor. As far as sand tracks go, the rule of thumb is the softer suspension and tire pressure will be the most beneficial to allowing the bike the most traction. I would also think that a more gradual engine and fuel map will keep from just blowing out the sand which would give the bike more momentum and speed instead of just burning out in place. Hope this Info helps you some, if the game is anything like real life than it should help wonders.
Oh and also it seems on smaller bikes a skinnier tire like the 110 is going to be less bulky and allow the bike to spin the wheel at a faster rate, but to skinny will not stay up on top of the sand as well. So the 110 is a better choice and the front I have heard it isn't as sticky so it won't stick better and ride up and over the face of the berm which will allow you to hold in the ruts and berms better and also the skinnier tire fits in some of the smaller berms and ruts better as well. I haven't been playing very long but I am play a lot lately since I am injured and since my racing days are pretty much over unless I want to be more handicapped than I already am. 😁
