Not that he hasn't had some memorable calls in those years in taking after his father in what lines he uses, but we got some very excited calls from him after that. And to be fair...some of these games, the final out is recorded with the game more or less decided by a lopsided score. Unless it's their first Series win ever or ending a LONG drought or the game is a tight win.

Just know this, many of these wins were important for the fan base and the franchise. Some of them hadn’t won in generations. The Dodgers win was not just for the fans and organization, but also for themselves seeing many of them were a part of multiple letdowns and past playoff failures.
It's only too bad the win was in the middle of the pandemic and we were all worried about a virus. Glad they finally got one. Just wish that they were able to have more fans there live to enjoy the win with them.
They absolutely deserve it with the way they developed Mike Yastrzemski. In a moneyball-esque team, a power hitter like Yastrzemski complements the lineup perfectly.

The fact Adam Wainwright pitched in the 2006 World Series and is still pitching in 2021 says a lot about how good he has been
that 6 year run with the Giants with Big Time Timmy Jim, Cain and Abel and Mad Bum was my favorite in mlb history.

I remember watching the Cubs VS Indians at Walt Disney World and got to see one of the parades down Main Street USA and hearing the park ERUPT with Cubs fans and W flags. Even though the Cubs are one of our ( the Braves) competitors, I was so happy.
