Maybe try introducing Ollie to sand by getting a little sand box. Since you guys can't go to sandy places (like the beach) all the time, having a sand box at home to help get him used to the sand for future vacations might be a good idea :D
Ollie is actually pretty incredible at baseball considering his age... already hitting those balls.. wow i can see him being a sportsman when he's older with his swimming and all his energy! :)
Oh Missy you guys are so blessed to have your family around all the time! They are literally there for everything! My family is so distant and I just wanted to tell you that, that is so awesome and so great for Ollie!
My little cousin was also afraid of sand and it was a problem, because he and his parents were living close to the seaside and they were there really often. They put 2 of his favourite toys on the sand and went to stand next to them and just waited. He was crying and screaming for like 10 minutes, but his parents were telling him "everything is ok" "sand is not scary" "look, mama is standing here" and he finally decided to calm down. He looked at his parents, stood up and went to take his toys. It worked and he's not afraid of sand anymore :) sometimes kids just choose the easier way of living- who would choose walking when your daddy can hold you when you refuse to walk

I wish my kids were blessed with Grandparents and an Auntie and Uncle that see them every day and want to be in their life. Your kids are very fortunate! Don't move away from that support!!!

Missy and Bryan I know u guys go to the movies a lot and I just wanted to recommend the movie: San Andreas it sounds weird but I promise u guys will love it! It also takes place in L.A. I'm not a movie person and I loved it!
We have the Primo water unit but ours has the buttons on the top of the unit instead of the front. My four year old can reach it but the one year old can't, which is great. Also, I fill up those large blender bottles and carry that around with me and it works out great. You'll get used to it :).
I remember when I was expecting with my son it felt like his foot was in my ribs and it was like ouch! - So many changes but they are worth every one - Great video- so cute watching the baseball- Ruthie
