I was lucky enough to see Exodus during this same tour with the late great Original vocalist of Exodus Paul Baloff.I had been a fan since Bonded by Blood came out on vinyl and have always considered it top 3 of greatest thrash albums of all time.I Remember Baloffup on stage with a broken leg in a cast and sang the entire Bonded by Blood album sitting on a stool.Great FUCKN show!! R.I.P Paul !!.

This show was at the Trocadero in S.F. '97 - I was there and it went on for two hours! Every old school SF/Bay Area headbanger was there.

I wish Rick was still with Exodus..Rick and Gary's rhythm and Lead swapping is fucking insanity! Rick comes in with those super revearby solos while Gary chunks out the rhythm part and as Rick wraps up his lead Gary comes screaming in just fucking burying the bar and shit while Rick grabs the rhythm as it comes back around.. its pure Exodus and no band will ever do it like them...no, not even Slayer.
And let's not forget about Toms ripping fills Jacks 1 of a kind bass sound I've never heard anywhere else..and oh yeah, Paul MOTHERFUCKING Baloff best goddamn thrash front man ever right next to Sean Killian.

Most Iconic thrash song right there, will never be topped . Slayer are my all time favourite for dark death metal but I bought this vinyl when I was 13 years old................When you hear the german plane come howling down and this burst into life.....WOW.

Let's not get carried away. The live version here sounds great, to be sure. But his voice isn't as dynamic as the album, and there are a couple spots here where the guitars and drums get slightly out of sync (though they pull it back together skillfully).
The album though, that is a masterpiece in every sense. From the musicianship to the vocals to the recordings and eqs.. it is a *masterpiece*.
