I’m a Japanese representative who lived on the 27th floor of that apartment until the end of March. The place is convenient and the view is perfect, and the management company is great. So I really recommend it. Thank you for your video. I felt nostalgic.

That's one good location for an apartment. Glad you got to do another sponsored video and hopefully there's people going to rent these. Pretty affordable for expats staying in Singapore. The discounts might seemed little but the rich are always looking for discounts that's why they are richer than us. We always underestimate that they don't. They love a good deal lol!

as a guide, a night at the mandarin oriental, ritz carlton, the “cheaper” 5 star hotels nearby costs $300-500 a night , while this costs $200 but you have to stay at least 2 months

Ya I agree...I expect the toilet to be more grandeur. Maybe it's because it is meant for guest since it is located at the main door. Need to see the toilet in the master bed room for better gauge

Wow, the apartments and surroundings are beautiful. However, I would rather get a HDB because it costs less and the amenities surrounding the heartlands are cheaper. Example, supermarkets, restaurants and even kopi-o kosong is cheaper. Hope you consider those when you and your wife get a place, a little bit goes a long way.

Yes, HDB is for long term! And you own one is better than you rent one, thinking of the rental you paid but at the end it’s belonged to other people! After renovation HDB would look like condo. You should think further 🤔

I do agree service level cannot be compared to Japan. But Japan's service standard also seem to drop? My last trip to Osaka was in Nov 2019. The young sales girl in the H&M store treated us as if we were from China (maybe because we spoke Mandarin), she gave us super black face and did not seem willing to serve us. When we asked for extra paper bags to put our purchase, she gave us black face too and put the paper bag on the counter top unhappily. I wasn't expecting this kind of service in Japan. It was kind of shock to me.

Most show room has a lot of mirrors to make the place look big. The only advantage is it reflect lights to give the room a bright feel to it. That location is very suitable for Japanese because there is a Japanese supermarket nearby.
The building top at 3:42 looks like a spaceship, reminds me of Jupiter 2 from Lost in Space! Thanks for showing this. Great to know of alternatives to hotels when in Singapore. Hope we can visit again soon.

Mature estate hdb are the best; facilities and shelters well thought and implemented, annual great maintenance of the surrounding facilities and convenience which doesn’t require transportation other than your own two feet.

50万円＝6,500 SGD. つまり、You got to be a high-flyer to live in there. It will eat up your entire salary otherwise. ちなみに、このアパートの正面の前にシンガポールの国会がありますよ。
Frankly, that rental rate is common and actually just median rate for that size and often rented out by expats (esp company sponsored ones). A few folks I know personally stays in 5 digit rental flats around River Valley or edges of Orchard, for example. So at 6.5K, it's not bad at all... if you can afford hehe.
Covid must've dropped their prices significantly.
David Tong yes. For expats especially Western expats with big families and generous pay packages of 66k Sgd/mth. But for the average local white collar office worker or Japanese salaryman? Do you think they can spend 50Man just on rental with 1 BR and no real kitchen or space for children?
Nah. This is targetted at gm/director level japanese expats. They usually come here by themselves for a few years and stay inbthese kinda places.
To be fair, $200++ per day for everything, the location and those views is actually not that expensive, even without facilities. Hotels nearby on this level would be suites that are well above $400 per night. If I was a short-term expat, long term tourist or whatever, I can see how this is up for consideration. Also the value covers itself during seasons with major events and fireworks.
But as a home, that would depend on the individual and what they are willing to compromise.
