Bitcoin is not stored in the cold wallet. It is store in the Blockchain. As long as you remember your seed phrase. Even your physical wallet is lost, your assets is still yours safely in the btc chain
Your coins are stored on the blockchain instead of the physical wallet. Hence, even if you lose your wallet, you will still be able to retrieve your coins as long as you have your keys.
Halving is in April not in March.
I love how the podcasters look so uncomfortable, talking about buying crypto :D but thumbs up that u guys actually put out this video for viewers! Thank you!
To those who speculate, LFGGGGG :)
Haha no worries! 😂😂
Bitcoin is digital Gold! #BTC #Bitcoin
Doesn't matter if its good or bad, as long as you can make money from it
Fair enough
why will you wanna own a paper version of the original asset? just like gold etfs the same thing
Because it's backed by the asset itself? But, of course, some prefer to own an asset directly.
Actually if you buy the bitcoin ETF because it’s backed by the asset itself, you are defeating the true purpose of having bitcoin.
If you speculate, it’s fine, but if you want to own bitcoin and think of getting into Bitcoin ETF, I suggest you really go to the rabbit hole and understand bitcoin
Thanks for sharing your views, Drew. In your opinion, what is the true purpose of Bitcoin? Is it to create a decentralized digital currency system and an alternative to traditional fiat currencies?
@@TheFifthPersonChannel it’s written in the white paper of Bitcoin. It’s meant to be peer to peer payment system without the use of middleman AKA the banks.
It’s transferring value to one another without a third party.
You are your own bank, hence you are responsible for your own bitcoin. Centuries ago we removed religion from the state.
Now Bitcoin is attempting to remove money from the state.
It’s definitely an alternative to fiat currencies, but it’s not looking to replace it.

I just want my NW to go up
having zero exposure to bitcoin is dumb at this point. We've seen it "die" and then "rise up from the ashes" again like a phoenix a third time by now. There is already enough price data to make this a good risk to reward bet.
Yes, fair enough. How would you value Bitcoin to know when it's a good risk-to-reward bet?
@@TheFifthPersonChannelsee the previous price actions. The 4 year boom bust cycle in crypto matches well with the market boom bust cycle. All of crypto is "concept stock", you can't value it using traditional metrics.
You guys were pretty late, still remembered 2021 you guys were bashing BTC asit's not backed by anything.
We're actually still not interested in owning Bitcoin ourselves, but we wanted to do a discussion on Bitcoin ETFs as an alternative for those who are.
I might not like crypto but am vested in Coinbase for the reason they're the dominant custodian for such assets of many funds. Down the line, there might even be ETH ETFs and if crypto can survive till now, i guess the worst is over and they're here to stay. Also, even in a bear market, Coinbase still earns through transaction fees. The stock movement while correlated with Crypto currently, I feel should be less so due to their business model. I feel we're still early. Not financial advice 😊
Yes, Coinbase is a good proxy to cryptocurrency.
If you live in a country that’s considered stable then buy both BTC ETFs and Self Custody BTC
What about Gemini (exchange)? Legit?
Crypto is riding AI theme and will multiply in the long run
Easily 100k in 2024

What if the BTC ETF bitcoin gets hacked and is lost?
i believe you can find it in the respective ETF issuer's investment prospectus that there is an insurance for theft and fraud. Iirc for Blackrock, it insures up to $300m per address.
It's not ETFs Bitcoin
It's your Bitcoin in ETF
What i predict 1 day will come is no ELECTRICITY & good bye .
Much more to worry about then if that happens!
Bitcoin is never for me.
So you’re saying you are going to save in fiat ?
Why so negative? ... no one forces anyone to buy any asset... eg nvda or tesla...same logic.. Gensler just make motherhood statements but it is worth $0...
