Welsh Dragon Rocker - a Blender sculpting timelapse

This video is a timelapse of the Welsh Dragon Rocker sculpting process in Blender. The artwork was made for the fun 'Urban Monsters' challenge by CG Boost. I wanted to create my version of the Welsh Red Dragon as a tribute to some Cool Cymru era bands which I like (Manic Street Preachers and Catatonia for example) and I was inspired by plasticine claymation videos of Primus and Green Jelly - I tried to give the sculpture a little of that vibe which I think fits perfectly with the character. The sculpt was finished for the challenge deadline but I don't consider it fully polished. Probably will give some more refinement for the next stage but as a concept, it is done.
