I'm sure GW appreciates Angel using all Citadel paints, but an exception should have been made for white scar. Having to use that paint is cruel and unusual punishment. Beautiful paint job.
When I started with the Hobby I bought a can of white scar. Hell, I hate this paint. Besides the fact that Citadel-Paints really like to clog up because the closure just doesnt work, White Scar was...Special. It spilled everywhere, separated like hell and was always to thick.
I don’t think I’ve ever had a brush tip so sharp and cooperative. Very nice final result and I would agree with those asking to see a non-timelapsed version. We can learn so much from you with longer-form videos. :-D

after 6 years it would be nice to assemble and paint mine Horus to...it is terifingly detailed. Looks easy and natural in the video, but i know it isn't. The Armor color though insanely fine built up. Angel you are a true master.
Watching this again, I am blown away by just how much work you had to put into this model Angel. I know I have balked at the obscene price but you do get a LOT of mini for the price. Especially if you include the base. I still wouldn't buy it though. 😉😂But I am impressed, as always.

Fantastic work Angel, I assume there was a bit of a learning curve and frustrations using another paint line as with most changes with materials. One day you'll have to show us how you did the leather and wolf's pelt, they looked awesome!
Yes, it was somewhat complicated since I did not know the colors and had not used Citadel for many years to paint miniatures, but the experience was fantastic.
Really beautiful work, very inspirational. I have a question, maybe not directly related, but I will ask anyway. Is it best to lay down a dark grey shade before painting with a black gloss? I have both, and I wanted to paint up my Horus, so the gloss picks out any and all highlights (or at least the majority of detail). Also, I intend to base his cloak with Tamiya purple to give a deep richness to the red.
he makes a mistake with the bronze highlight at 4:08 on the lower edge of the upper chest armor. HES HUMAN. HE MAKES MISTAKES. But also he corrected it in the very next shot and finished an exquisite Warmaster model. Thank you Mr. G!

Una pasada de mini, me ha encantado ver el uso que le das a las pinturas contrast. Por cierto, una pena no haber visto el proceso de pintado de la roca, tiene detalles muy sutiles.
I feel like I am in the twilight zone seeing these paint bottles, but I am very happy to see how you are using some of the contrast paints, esp. some of the surprising places volupus pink ended up.
Me encanta el video Ángel, como siempre. Es la primera vez que te veo usar pinturas citadel ;-), y alucino con que te vayan tan bien con el aerógrafo. Yo uso citadel i Vallejo, a la vez, para todas mis minis w40k. Las imprimaciones de Vallejo creo que son muchísimo mejores, el negro o blanco puros también, para uso de aerógrafo mejor las pinturas Vallejo de calle pero para pincel me van bien las dos por separado o mezcladas. Finalmente las metálicas y las especiales de citadel (contrast o tintas) te pueden sorprender mucho, pues son brutales (en mi opinión, pero sólo para pincel, las de aerógrafo creo que les falta mucho camino). Un saludo
Hola Gabriel Las Citadel con el aerografo es horrible, no va nada fluido..., yo le añadi thinner de tamiya y un poco de agua. Fue algo complicado usar solo Citadel ya que no estoy nada aconstumbrado, la textura es muy diferente y tampoco sabia que colores mezclaban bien jejej. Tanto Vallejo como Citadel son las mejores marcas de pintura, incluso para mi es mejor Vallejo pero cada una tiene sus cosas buenas y malas :)
