the gold pass skin question is just pure PR speak, the reality is that they wanted to test if they could get away with removing it, still sell the pass for the same amount and then put the skin in the store standalone. I get that companies won't just say that outright but I don't like being lied to either.

At the time that was very important to me, because myself and many other players weren’t sure what to upgrade, and weren’t sure what we liked yet.

At the end of the day it’s a business and they have to make money
I personally only cared about gold pass skins when I didnt have any skins for my heroes but once you get your favorite skins for each hero you will most likely buy the pass only for runes, books, cost reductions etc.
This sanctuary idea has potential. Obstacles can be _stashable_ ; a feature that could evolve into allowing us to move them to the sanctuary instead of just holding them hidden .
About the decoration sanctuary, it is a good concept for storing those decoration that are not 'OG' or 'for show', however this feature should be alongside the option for which obstacle we wanna keep on our base and which we wanna keep in "sanctuary"
You could buy an entire new game for the price of that scenery, which does nothing. SC pushing the boundaries to see how much they can milk their player base before the game dies. If the difficulty doesn't get harder at 17 then I'm done.

Chests from this event should have a somewhat existent "pity" system, like guaranteed rarity if next chests (like 10-15 in a row for example) are going below certain rarity like common and rare ones to make it a bit fair if those chests stay in game for a longer run

About an year ago, they added the ghost set which has all 4 legendary skins, including the RC skin in GP but after a while, they changed it to a gold skin. I thought it was maybe an error but guess not, as it's still a gold skin.
Yes, if I recall correctly I think they did say they were going to change it to a Gold Pass skin as it was a mistake, but that could have been a different skin I’m remembering too.
I guess we're thinking about the same skin here - Ghost RC. Would loved to have an all legendary set but...nvm. good to know that people who liked this RPG season are getting all Legendary skins.
if they are releasing a higher tier hero skin, they should make custom skins for all of that hero's abilities. So basically if they release a mythic king skin for example, he will have custom skins for his gauntlet, spiky ball; special effects for rage vial, earthquake boots etc. on top of that, he will have custom barbarian puppets and way more effects going on in his body as well. Also, maybe when you equip a pet with that mythic king, that pet will get a fixed cosmetic armor or something like that as well (applies to any pet that we will equip with him).
I’ve actually suggested the decorations storage back in 2016 or 17 I don’t exactly remember, back when the feedback in-game was not fully automated yet, having to chat with developers was the best thing back then, my suggestion though was a new village type of thing where all clan members can come together and decorate something.

This is the same idea that I shared on their video is have a quest system. Similar to like the battle pass and clan games, this own system rewards players with each quest. So you give players like 1-3 daily quest that are easy to complete and they get rewards those treats. You could even have weekly and monthly quest which are harder and takes longer to complete but players gets rewards with magic items, or with the chest. Its one way to reward active players.
Maybe another way to implement those snacks into daily gameplay is by giving them as rewards for a successful (3 stars+) in the builder base? You would be able to get between 1 or 3 of those in a day. This makes it so builder base has an indirect impact on the home village, which can cause more players to play builder base battles, as right now it seems like it is not that popular. What do you guys think?

An interesting spot for snacks might also be in the Clan capital raids, they could be rewards for taking down capital peaks. Or they could be rewarded alongside the raid medals. Or similar to Capital gold, they could add a chow hall or bakery building where a snack is produced every few days on rotations or randomly. Perhaps with some resources spent players could also choose which snack to get in the following days. Wars also take a few days to conclude, so they could rewarded there as well. Honestly there are so many periodic events in Clash where snacks could easily slot into. In terms of decorations and more cosmetics, the sanctuary is an interesting idea, and sort of sounds like it would imitate a lot of aspects from something like Animal Crossing if decoration is the goal. Maybe if they added some sort of mini game to it that is accessible to attacking players if they 3 star an opponent's base? They sort of have the beginnings of an idea with the clan capital homes. I will be very interested in how they solve the decoration problem. I think they are quite nice but I've already only got a few (about 20 or so counting limited obstacles I've shoveled) and have issues with space.

Maybe they could add a bakery. It starts at .5 or .25 snacks per day, and you can upgrade it to get to maybe 2 snacks a day. And the building could maybe be off the edge of the village. It could be interesting to upgrade a building that doesn’t actually take up space
Only thing they didnt discuss about treasure hunt event is drop rates i get why they had to make 3 chests every 48 hours but drop rates are really low, like 58% for common is just insane if they want every 2 day chests they have to make drop rates higher to feel rewarding, if they do every 24 h then drop rates would be fine but maybe a make them a LITTLE bit higher thats only complaint atleast for me
Avatar border and background can also be a good cosmetic. During war you can have your own banner shown... And many players do visit the profile of top players and clan mates.. So i think its a good cosmetic ideas. And many games are using this kind of cosmetic.
i personally like decorations more than skins, so i liked the dice more than the dwarf skin cause i feel like decorations are the biggest cosmetic you can have and it flaunts your base sometimes better than even a scenery. Their should be more decorations!!!!!
There is one thing that we all want... ability tu use heros in friendly challenges while they are upgrading..it's doable right..we can practice a lot more armies that way
More than adding a magic snack that gives the ability to use heroes while they are upgrading, I think it would be pretty helpful if they gave that when more than half our heroes are upgrading and when less than half of our heroes are upgrading give the mighty morsel. I have had some situations where i get mighty morsel with all my heroes down and it doesn't feel great. they could also give other condition to other magic snacks so we don't get them and feel like they are useless, but i cant think of more ideas.
They could make a garden section that’s separate from the main base (like the builder base) that can be used to decorate. It would make new decor items more valuable. Perhaps they can generate a little bit of gold too?
Also, spectating an attacker that’s attacking your base should have some benefit like being able to drop poison spells or freeze spells or maybe send your herpes to specific attacking units.. Spectating has little benefit other than adding some pressure to the attacker and sometimes being able to end the attack a few seconds early.
21:43 lowkey, put ‘em in the builder base and clan capital. People will go crazy for ‘em! I like the builder base and clan capital, but I’m max BH10, and our clan is almost max CH10, so I just don’t have much drive in the bases anymore.
I’d like to see them add a refund type thing for ore/equipment. You can choose to downgrade equipment and get a percentage of the ores back to use elsewhere - especially if they nerf something or buff something else
A trading shop where players can buy and sell cosmetics through the game (Supercell can take a slice of transaction). Give people opportunity to create a market for skins, create higher value for the more rarer skins/cosmetics.
6:25 The sanctuary idea sounds fun.. maybe they can add some sort of a decoration museum? Itll be its own fun building like animal crossing 😂 next to the can games building?? You’ll be able to decorate your museum and show off the decorations and make cool looking custom interiors! Lets say youd want to show off a piece, thats the one you can select to be showcased on the building. And it could have other functions as well for showcasing your skins!
I feel like a cool event they could do is like a treasure hunt week, almost like CWL, like maybe the week before CWL is the treasure week to try and keep people playing during the months
major and minor upgrade levels for the Hereros, say from 50 - 52 you can use them whilst upgrading and then on 53 you cant use it whilst its upgrading.
Having chests for star bonus that gives magic snacks would be good, and then they can add the snack to use heros while upgrading, for legendary chest, like a legendary snack. But then they will have to sort others snacks' rarities. Let's see what they do
i think it could be pretty cool if they added chests to the goblin maps, like every 10 stars or something you get a common chest and with every other one being a rare, then lets say every 50 stars you get an epic, and at the very end maybe you get a legendary chest, it's just an idea but it would give some life to the goblin maps plus some some chests for the players
Next things they need to make fair is matching, get rid of the 3 up 3 down matching and make it 1 to 1 based on TH Level, example TH9 should only be matched with TH9s etc. in every mode. Place the 3 up 3 down mismatching in hard mode, invite hard mode into multiplayer with those odds, and make regular mode fair.
They could make mythic skins like overwatch 2 does it. Making them personally customizable. They have an overall look but you can change the pattern, color, weapon model and more.
I think higher tier Hero skins should have some equipment animation effects like legendary skins have with puppet equipments (barbarian, archer) to make it more unique and rewarding for someone who buys it.
It would be good if they increased the expiry times of the magic snacks. A lot of the time I'll get one but I don't want to use it just then and I'll log in the next day and it's already expired.
Legend shop might be one of the best places to add magic snacks. Because they don't affect progression and help players in legend league to attack all 8 times.
I agree with your Gold Pass thoughts, and I'll add that the skin is also the "face" of the gold pass and makes each season unique and not feeling like a subscription to clash of clans
For the mythic hero skins I think they can add custom effects for every single hero equipment. That would be a lot of work especially if they need to keep doing it every time they release a new equipment and if they don't do it and just stick to how many equipments there were when the mythic skin released then that'd make the older ones way less valuable than newer ones so if they do add equipments to the mix for the mythic skin then they definitely would need to keep updating it. Adding effects to equipment is definitely one choice they have but it's going to be a lot of work. Let's see how they do it.
The thing they messed up on the green jello one was not including immediate regeneration for the heros. It does no good to use it when it takes 30 minutes for your heros to regenerate. Huge miss by them. You basically get two hits with that morsel.
Mythic skin idea: the longer the hero is alive the more it evolves visually like normal squire to fierce knight with like smoke and aura coming out of him

An idea for mythic skins would be to have them change what the pet looks like.
If they were to add this, than each skin set would have the same design of pet, since 10 different pets for 4 heroes each is a lot of work

Only thing they didnt discuss about treasure hunt event is drop rates i get why they had to make 3 chests every 48 hours but drop rates are really low, like 58% for common is just insane if they want every 2 day chests they have to make drop rates higher to feel rewarding, if they do every 24 h then drop rates would be fine but maybe a make them a LITTLE bit higher thats only complaint atleast for me

Avatar border and background can also be a good cosmetic. During war you can have your own banner shown... And many players do visit the profile of top players and clan mates.. So i think its a good cosmetic ideas. And many games are using this kind of cosmetic.
i personally like decorations more than skins, so i liked the dice more than the dwarf skin cause i feel like decorations are the biggest cosmetic you can have and it flaunts your base sometimes better than even a scenery. Their should be more decorations!!!!!

There is one thing that we all want... ability tu use heros in friendly challenges while they are upgrading..it's doable right..we can practice a lot more armies that way

More than adding a magic snack that gives the ability to use heroes while they are upgrading, I think it would be pretty helpful if they gave that when more than half our heroes are upgrading and when less than half of our heroes are upgrading give the mighty morsel.
I have had some situations where i get mighty morsel with all my heroes down and it doesn't feel great.
they could also give other condition to other magic snacks so we don't get them and feel like they are useless, but i cant think of more ideas.
They could make a garden section that’s separate from the main base (like the builder base) that can be used to decorate. It would make new decor items more valuable. Perhaps they can generate a little bit of gold too?

Also, spectating an attacker that’s attacking your base should have some benefit like being able to drop poison spells or freeze spells or maybe send your herpes to specific attacking units.. Spectating has little benefit other than adding some pressure to the attacker and sometimes being able to end the attack a few seconds early.

I like the builder base and clan capital, but I’m max BH10, and our clan is almost max CH10, so I just don’t have much drive in the bases anymore.

I’d like to see them add a refund type thing for ore/equipment. You can choose to downgrade equipment and get a percentage of the ores back to use elsewhere - especially if they nerf something or buff something else
A trading shop where players can buy and sell cosmetics through the game (Supercell can take a slice of transaction). Give people opportunity to create a market for skins, create higher value for the more rarer skins/cosmetics.

You’ll be able to decorate your museum and show off the decorations and make cool looking custom interiors! Lets say youd want to show off a piece, thats the one you can select to be showcased on the building. And it could have other functions as well for showcasing your skins!

I feel like a cool event they could do is like a treasure hunt week, almost like CWL, like maybe the week before CWL is the treasure week to try and keep people playing during the months
major and minor upgrade levels for the Hereros, say from 50 - 52 you can use them whilst upgrading and then on 53 you cant use it whilst its upgrading.
Having chests for star bonus that gives magic snacks would be good, and then they can add the snack to use heros while upgrading, for legendary chest, like a legendary snack. But then they will have to sort others snacks' rarities. Let's see what they do
i think it could be pretty cool if they added chests to the goblin maps, like every 10 stars or something you get a common chest and with every other one being a rare, then lets say every 50 stars you get an epic, and at the very end maybe you get a legendary chest, it's just an idea but it would give some life to the goblin maps plus some some chests for the players
Next things they need to make fair is matching, get rid of the 3 up 3 down matching and make it 1 to 1 based on TH Level, example TH9 should only be matched with TH9s etc. in every mode. Place the 3 up 3 down mismatching in hard mode, invite hard mode into multiplayer with those odds, and make regular mode fair.

They could make mythic skins like overwatch 2 does it. Making them personally customizable. They have an overall look but you can change the pattern, color, weapon model and more.
I think higher tier Hero skins should have some equipment animation effects like legendary skins have with puppet equipments (barbarian, archer) to make it more unique and rewarding for someone who buys it.

It would be good if they increased the expiry times of the magic snacks. A lot of the time I'll get one but I don't want to use it just then and I'll log in the next day and it's already expired.
Legend shop might be one of the best places to add magic snacks. Because they don't affect progression and help players in legend league to attack all 8 times.
I agree with your Gold Pass thoughts, and I'll add that the skin is also the "face" of the gold pass and makes each season unique and not feeling like a subscription to clash of clans
For the mythic hero skins I think they can add custom effects for every single hero equipment. That would be a lot of work especially if they need to keep doing it every time they release a new equipment and if they don't do it and just stick to how many equipments there were when the mythic skin released then that'd make the older ones way less valuable than newer ones so if they do add equipments to the mix for the mythic skin then they definitely would need to keep updating it. Adding effects to equipment is definitely one choice they have but it's going to be a lot of work. Let's see how they do it.
The thing they messed up on the green jello one was not including immediate regeneration for the heros. It does no good to use it when it takes 30 minutes for your heros to regenerate. Huge miss by them. You basically get two hits with that morsel.
