Hi abdul. Don't worry about signing the EIF. When the notary interview starts they will unlock the document and you will be able to sign it right there and then.

Depends on what you are applying for. For gmc registration via the plab route you just need to verify your mbbs degree. Not your transcripts or internship certificates.

You can track the progress on your Epic Account. It will say when they have reached out to the uni. You can reach out to your uni at that point in time or earlier if you want to be proactive.

Dear Dr, I just finished notarycam verification. When I came back to EPIC account and open my credentials, there is no upload options and it showed: you do not have a valid EPIC identification form on file. So I asked from chatbox to Notarycam verifying agent, she asked me to wait for 3 days.

Ah that depends on how you register with the gmc. If you go through plab route then only MBBS degree. Don't worry about signing it. That process will be explained to you when you are on call with the notarycam.
Hi Dr. Wajih In the last step u have mentioned about tracking the progress of the verification by the university. Is it verified electronically or through paper mail? And is it verified by the university or by the medical school? Could you clear this up.
Well see it might be different for everyone depending on how your institution operates. In my case it was my medical colleague that verified it electronically. If you want to know how it is for yourself then it would be worth speaking to an admin person in your university about it.

Hi Maryam. If you are talking about the two options I talked about at 07:03 then please note they have ever since updated their website and you won't see those options anymore.

What you upload depends on what you are trying to get verified and for what purpose. If you are doing this to register with the gmc via the plab route then you only need to upload your medical degree/diploma. It should say on their website what to do incase you have more than one page to your document.

Hi Mahwash. As far as I recall after your EIF is notarized you should be able to upload your degree for the verification process. You shouldn't have to worry about the EIF form after your notarycam interview.. Have you now tried uploading your degree?

There shouldn't be any problems. The only issue I can imagine is if you send off your verified medical degree to gmc and then aren't able to register within a year then you may have to pay 50 GBP or so to have it resent to them.

We use different dates in my country. I have sent an email to EPIC talking about this. Do you think they would allow me to change the dates I have entered? No. Well atleast I didn't have to. Can't say how they will treat every other individual application. But generally no.

I would imagine you would only have to verify your identity once.

Hi Mahwash. As far as I recall after your EIF is notarized you should be able to upload your degree for the verification process. You shouldn't have to worry about the EIF form after your notarycam interview.. Have you now tried uploading your degree?

I have a question brother....i have an ecfmg account(when i gave usmle step1 in 2019) and i did a notarycam at that time....does that help in epic verification for the GMC or should i start from the beginning with the verifivation process?

There shouldn't be any problems. The only issue I can imagine is if you send off your verified medical degree to gmc and then aren't able to register within a year then you may have to pay 50 GBP or so to have it resent to them.

Hello. Great video and very helpful. I would appreciate your help I got my temporary username and password. However, upon logging in it says, "You do not have a valid EIF form".
Might be the browser. Try logging back in. Or using the latest version of Chrome. And use it from your laptop not phone. Did that help?
Mine also shows the same exact thing , invalid EIF form and it shows 404 file or directory not found .

Hello Dr! Thank you for your video. I don’t know if this has been asked before so excuse me if it has, but i think I made a mistake with finishing date and passed dates or issued dates. We use different dates in my country. I have sent an email to EPIC talking about this. Do you think they would allow me to change the dates I have entered? And also I have written MBBS as title but later I have found it Doctor of Medicine in my country (again different systems) and I have talked about this too. I have already paid 130$ so I am anxious right now. I would appreciate your thoughts

You are very welcome. Electronically sign means they will ask you to type in your name during the notarycam interview.
