I actually love Narrative's design and now in verka is just wow. I will have to wait months past its release, prices tends to go higher when its recently announced.

i just hope that the HGCE Destroy Gundam ends up leading to a HGUC Revive Psyco Gundam (and of course remoulds into the Psyco Gundam Mk II, Mk III and into a Psyco GM Revive)

Timeline was Alto > Portanova > Rabiot > Espossito > Spinatio > Cielnova Also, Zack, there is a dedicated YT channel for the 30 Minutes line, and they livestream info about new products there. Have you considered covering that too?
What grinds my gears about that new part expansion set from WFM is that they made it piss-bandai. IBO and build fighters got a ton of optional equipment that were retail. WFM also got some that was retail, so why not this and for the main suits that had a lot off screen time? Bandai's idiocy strikes yet again. We can only hope it will be retail outside of Japan, like Goldymarg.
I would have happily bought both the Darilbalde and the Michaelis just so I can justify buying the expansion set for Pharact. Now I won't buy any of them. Good job Bandai, you suck at doing business.
There's a guy who made 3d printable files for just that, I think Michaelis option parts are still print tested, but they have the Lfrith Pre Production type ready to go. Also some nice GReco models.
Thankfully 30MS and 30MM kits and stuff related to it aren't really popular in where I live, so there's no need to preorder since there will be plenty of it available locally. Feels happy and also sad at the same time.

Ever since I saw Narrative for the first time, I've always said that I wanted a Master Grade Narrative Gundam with a functional Core Fighter. Definitely picking this one up.
I built the Daisy Ogre, saw my LHS had a stack of them so I got one on impulse. I wasn't a fan of it at first, but the design quickly grew on me and now it has a long term spot on the desk. My biggest complaint is the price of them, $45-$50 for such a small kit that doesn't do anything particularly amazing is a hard pill to swallow.
Armored Core is Kotobukiya's realm at least for model kits. Bandai has already confirmed they will be doing Robot Damashii figures of Armored Core 6 (most likely will be either 621, Raven, and/or Rusty).

YF-19 HG is solid. I haven't tried parts-forming it but I had zero problem with the battroid form, unlike the old transforming 1/72 VF25-F which was a rickety nightmare. VF-29 Durandal HG is also good. There are stickers but not too many, and these HG kits look great out of the box.
The Figure rise standard kits for YuGiOh have been exemplary! Skipped the Blue-eyes but got the Exodia on the way, now The BLS. They are hitting it out of the park with their card choices 🤩
I'm totally all for them not just doing each character's main monster card, but I do hope we get the Red-Eyes Black Dragon soonish. Always been one of my favorite monster designs.
the FGR Noir is pretty basic in terms of Bandai girl kits, the most interesting thing about her is the jacket since you can use it on 30MS as well. the daisy ogre was pretty fun to build but I wouldn't need a 2nd one.
My local target store and local hobby lobby store, local Game Exchange store, local comic book/hobby shop, most of time have fair prices for gundam kits
I don't see a lot of ppl talking about it but when I woke up in the morning at the day they announced the new kits, when I saw the AM Gunner and I almost shit myself. Never see that coming and can't wait for the AM Boxer. If you know, you know.
I have a feeling the MG Nadhlee will come to pbdandai maybe next year. Seems par for the course for previous Gundam Base kits. Finally gettting a squirtle and I think we could get the sunglasses version in the future maybe. Kinda feel the same about alternate Pickachu kits as well. And yes!! Finally a Jack to complete the collection my god lol
The TV version? Just had to make sure. My brain kinda started calling it the Proto Zero now. I mean, there IS precedent, since both the TV and EW versions of Wing are available as RGs.

Personally I want them to take the wings from the Deathscythe Rousette and combine those with the Wing Zero EW Ver Ka so we can have an updated MG Wing EW. The parts exist, but if they ever do it will probably be P-Bandai anyway.
on price, I've always stuck to my old rule of thumb that 1 yen is 1 cent. any price in yen, just lop the 2 last digits off, there's your price in USD. it was a closer conversion when I started using it, but as the yen has gotten weaker it's drifted. still useful as it always seems that an american price will be closer to what that gets me than a 'true' conversion. also helps with budgeting. it you budget for it to be $100 but it's $80, it just works out better I find. it also works well in japanese games for price comparisons. why is the starting potion in final fantasy so expensive at ~500 gold? because that golds reference is yen, not a western currency. move the decimal over 2 & it's a much more understandable price of ~500 cents, or ~5 dollars.
The Synduality sets are amazing, gilbow is a tad clunky but thats it. Kinda sad no one one will cover any of it. The figures and show are pretty enjoyable.
i heard at a convention that the next mgex will be gundam aerial, is that true or just a rumor? also i can't wait to see more about the narrative ver ka. i'm probably going to get it in my quest to have one gunpla of each category (besides pg)
@@Doc51499 Dunno about that. MGEX is a luxury kit line while full mechanics is more generalized. If it really is gundam ariel, I'm totally preordering.
@@LoliconSamalik yes. But I don’t think most people will bother with it if the MGEX is higher quality. It’s been Bandai’s MO for years that they wait a while before releasing MG kits of new stuff. We haven’t gotten any new IBO mg kits except for barbs and they waited ages between the crappy full mechanics and the MG FM came out while ibo was running and the MG came out like 3 years after. Knowing the engineers at Bandai they’re more likely to make an MGEX kit of something UC again because pretty much all their high end stuff is UC katoki almost never touches anything from an AU aside from wing and seeing as the wing zero ver ka is so new I doubt he’ll do an MGEX of that anytime soon. We can also rule out anything from stardust memory because let’s be real if they were gonna do anything to update the old MG kits they would’ve announced at least a ver ka kit of something by now. TLDR: the next MGEX is probably not coming anytime soon and I doubt it will be anything other than UC or maybe another seed design. WFM is too new to get that treatment. (Also Justice for IBO)

Bandai is making a HGCE 1/144 Destroy Gundam because there are already 1/144 and 1/100 scale resin kits that actually have more detail and this is my personal opinion but I think Bandai is getting tied of being outdone by 3rd party companies. So Bandai is finally getting their butts in gear and making kits that people may actually want to buy.
Meh, okay, I guess. I really wish Bandai would step it up again, like they use to. I was expecting at least 2 new MG kits for this show and an RG. Gunpla feels pretty limiting these days. 😔

Principle wise I stopped buying bandai kits. There are some kits I want but the more we buy their shitty recolors the more they won't release and new kits. I spend most of my money on other companies and especially chinese ones where their MGs are classes above bandai's

The kind of details we've seen on HG, even big ones such as the Penelope and the Xi, makes it a little less sense to me. On the other hand- if the argument becomes "HGCE kits so far have been bland, so we're going to make all future ones bland as well" becomes a very slippery slop.

made the daisy ogre, loved it in all honesty. I just did it as a custom. has a bunch of 3mm port holes so customizing is great.

I usually have every 100 yen equal 1 US dollar. Then the price in the US is around that depending on the kit.
Daisy Ogre was pretty fun build. The legs can be a bit of pain to get it to stand properly with the stand.
Definitely grabbing the Guld Bowman's YF-21 kit! 😊😊

I highly doubt that. Right now Bandai is still trying to sell people on the full mechanics kit and if they release that then nobody is buying the FM

I don't understand the Narrative Gundam. It just looks like a half finished gunpla, to me it looks awful.
Because the gundam was a prototype of the nu gundam, and was used to test the psycho frame. That’s why some of the frame is exposed.
