PbaBowling, That was an awesome upload of the Stepladder Finals of the Pba50 Fort Myers Classic. Also, The 2nd Match of the Pba50 Fort Myers Classic had a great finish.
Question for Tom Carter, or whoever else may happen to know: What happened to Rainbow Lanes in Columbus, OH? Did it get re-named?; close and turned into something else? Get torn down?? Hadn't thought about the place in 40 years or so. Searched for it a few months back 'n couldn't find hide-nor-hair info-wise. Ditto re Kent Lanes, Kent, OH? Thanks in advance.
Can't help but notice that whenever the person he's bowling against is on the left lane, Janowitz is at the back of the right lane, kind of hovering over the balls. This is perfectly fine on your Wednesday Night social league. But when you are in a tournament and you two are the only ones bowling in the bowling center, the etiquette is to sit the hell down until the other bowler has finished his two frames and is walking back. This is when you get up to prepare for your shot. Janowitz is the ONLY bowler who does this, and this includes the regular tour and the PBA60 tour. Don't tell me he's just impatient and wants to get up. Everyone can be impatient. But it's not your turn. Sit down and stay down until the other guy is done. I've seen Janowitz do this in other tournaments too. Good bowler and all. I don't know if he's just oblivious or he's trying to pull some psych game to distract the other guy. Either way, someone should tell him to stop.
Poor video resolution in general, especially on the scoreboards. Lackluster production. This is one of the reasons bowling is on the decline. The PBA is under the impression that it's still 1984.
Congrats Tom. Shout out to James Campbell nice 5th place. Bowled next to him in Fayetteville NC. Great guy.
I crossed with Campbell in a regional many years ago, and he wasn't as you describe. Maybe he's matured a lot.
20:00 commentary on the mental game is so spot on here for a few moments.
Nice to see Paul Koehler competing for a title again!
,🥰. GREAT PLAYERS !!! EXCELLENT COMMENTATORS 🥰
Tom Hess is an amazing Bowler on the Pba50 Tour.

I'd like to know the answer to that also, I think the last time I bowled at Rainbow was for the state tournament back in 1988.
