I don't usually leave comments because I have a hard time finding where to go. I'm also sad about your families loss too. But I have been watching you for some time. I like you reviews. I've been drawing for years, mostly in colored pencils so far! I do thank you for coming back too!!🤗

Beautiful bird pastel drawing! You make total sense about archival paper! There are so many great works of art done hundreds of years ago that are still beautiful and hang in Museums and other places. There was no such thing as archival paper back then! Thank you for stating this!

I too am a self taught artist since childhood! I salute you and wish you much success! You are a handsome young man, very talented and you should smile on occasion. I enjoy watching you draw which makes me smile!

Great demo and love the bird at the end. I tried the 1000 gift paper and it worked out just fine.

You are an absolute maestro. Your explanation of sandpaper vs sanded paper is great and very helpful. I agree the regular pastelmat paper is very expensive. You have explained it so well.I try to follow all of your drawings and always in awe. Hats off to your talent and explanation.

Great video should you get wet/dry sandpaper I noticed when attempting this I purchased wet dry and the pastels are vibrant but do not take well to the paper when blending

If a painting is worth keeping in a museum then I'm sure they'll take care of it. Artists must focus on producing high quality works only.

nah, artist should create whatever and whenever they feel like it. as for what ends up in a museum it's more politics than actual art. always has been.
