I wanted to say as a 25 year old woman, “newly” married, who did not grow up in a biblical Womanhood home, I appreciate your ministry very much! I was gifted your book and study guide as a wedding present and I reference back to it a lot! It’s so funny that you mentioned women working with their hands and how the workforce has such a toll on women. I am living in that currently. I’m in the social services field and oh how my heart longs to be home. I notice pure joy when I’m cleaning my home and tending to it even after a long day at work. I feel more fulfilled when I’m cleaning or folding laundry as apposed to finishing a ridiculous to-do list at work. I am trying to be patient in this season of life so I’d appreciate the prayers! And I am trying to be content in the Lord and do as unto Him as He’s taking me through this journey. Once again thank you for your ministry!
Hello, Lori! Thank you so much for your blessed videos and articles on your website! I am 20 years old and I dream of getting married and becoming a real blessing to my future husband, but there is still so much work to do!❤
I loved this video, thank you for sharing. I have just ordered your book, The Transformed Kitchen. I have a pot of your soup on the stove as I type. ☺ I have followed you for many years and pray the Lord continues to bless you richly and meet your every need. 🙏
Thanks Lori I made yesterday healthy bananabread and today healthy brownie. My children love it and my husband was sick both days and he saw how hard i work in the house and still have the time to bring him diner and lunch and tea. Also that I have time to enjoy and educate the children. I learned so much already from you and it’s good Bible doctrine. So thank you!!
My husband had asked me for years to get off social media. And i didnt listen. Finally ive done it. Im only on youtube now. Ive never been more productive in my home and im loving it! My house is looking better, i feel good and im making more homecooked meals.
I think it's ok to want beautiful things, but only in moderation. I like to have the necessities and a few things of beauty. I learned this due to going through a hurricane. Everything can be lost so quickly. And all the extra stuff is just "stuff" to gather dust.
I have a wonderful great granddaughter who has eczema psoriasis and very curly hair. My challenged daughter just loved to rub her down with special lotions. And play with her hair. She said a straightener costs a fortune. Im concerned it will cause cancer. She is too.
@@wintergirl8 I said, I have a great grand daughter with psoriasis and she has to use special creams or lotions. I have a "autistic" son and daughter but my daughter loves to rub the lotions on her younger cousin and likes to brush her very very curly hair. She calls it playing makeup but it's not makeup.

I work with my hands as i go to work as an engineer. With only 2 people at our house for the awhile I am help take care of my husband by bring in more money for us. I do a lot of cooking for us so that we eat on the weekend. I am not sick and glad that I bring in great health insurance for the family. I don't shop so we can build our future. I have time to do work in the community as well to help women and children to be able to move forward as well. God gave me a great gift to be an engineer to work to support the military members and also help take care of the community. God gave us all different skills and yours was to be at home but that's not everyone skill or only skill we have.
Great message. Look at the Amish. Believers should be known as being people that can work well with their hands. When people talk about the Proverbs woman having a "job" they seem to forget that she's mostly described as working with her hands in the home and that's a great example for women. Men as well, should be able to work with their hands in the trades and at least try to learn how to fix things in their home. We are all guilty of letting convenience get the better of us.
Hi, Lori! Thank you for another godly video. I REALLY needed to hear this, because sometimes it is so easy to go astray... This is a very seductive world and like the Word says in Peter 5:8, "Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:". Yesterday I was reading about how a godly woman should be (Titus 2:3-5) and this is a complement to that. God bless youa nd your family!🥰🙏
I took your advice from another video you did and use Coconut oil instead of body Lotion. It's definitely safer than store bought. I'm attempting to grow my hair out and I quit coloring it so it's healthier while it's growing out. I don't mind the grey. Im 53. Not 15 and God says that grey hair is a sign that Hes blessed you with many good years. I've also started using all natural shampoo and conditioner and homemade soaps. Same with deodorant. I have a question Lori. Does homemade bread make you sick from the gluten as much as store bought? I love bread but gluten aggravates my autoimmune diseases. I love bread and miss it

Why do you color your hair? Be natural. Proverbs 16:31-33. Saves time and money. Also much more healthy for your brain and body, hairbcoloring except henna is very toxic for you. Its humbling at first to go silver or gray, but so freeing and you really become content with where you are in life. I stopped coloring my hair in my 40s, I am over 60 now. Would never go back coloring my hair. Feels too fake or like im hiding behind my hair color. Just a thought ❤❤❤
@@cosmictreason2242 I said a lifetime. Not ten years .take a girl from infancy till death. Almost 80 years average.. All hair products, cosmetics, appliances, colour, wigs , ect . If females grow their hair long they can literally cut their own, no problem. Males also can simply use an inexpensive shaver. Buzzcuts and simple fades.

Great message Lori - I spent the entire weekend home cooking and baking from scratch. Can retire in 7 months and excited to be home all the time.

I primarily shop second hand, which is a big money saver, but I do want to learn more diy and handy skills

Kicked the last semblance of social media (other than TH-cam) about 9 years ago. So much more time to just live and be happy.
Praise be to the GOD and FATHER of Our Lord JESUS the CHRIST.
Same here. YT is worthwhile because it can be used for so much learning.
You tube is social media

I grew up admiring women like you when I was younger. A God fearing woman is what I want and will not accept less. Things have changed for the worst
I really enjoy your videos. Please share some of your recipes for breads, pizza dough, etc.

Look into homemade sourdough bread...it's supposed to be much easier to digest. ❤
Lori - look into recipes for lotions made from beeswax or soy - very good and not an animal fat.😊
I love living this way too & raised our 5 kids like this way. Unfortunately some of them have resentment for us doing so.....😢😢😢😢😢
Pray for your children to repent and believe the Gospel that they might be thankful.

Can you give single women advice on how to navigate the dating world and if a man is right for them?
I read the average woman spends 300 thousand on hair over a lifetime.. more thsn a child.
