Why on earth does this woman think that a fan will affect humidity or temperature in a room? That is NOT what fans are fior darling, thats what Air Con does!
I know this is 3 years too late, but fans don't cool by lowering air temp, they increase convection. With air passing over your body, it makes it so you lose body heat faster and it cools you down rather than the room. It's why a breeze is so nice on a hot day!
