I was watching your channel fo some time, and I have to say, I kinda don't know why you doing this... I mean if I were you I would do something different, just look back, you planned before to go to south America and you have a promo on your channel that promotes that, then you took all vaccines then, you stayed home for some weeks because of the side effect of all the vaccines, then you went to south America and suddenly it is not safe and you don't have enough money to make your trip happen, and now the promo on your channel is irrelevant, and looking to your views count and subs, you only have 308 subscribers and each of your videos get less than 100 views! dude, what are you doing? I don't think you making your dream happen? it looks for me a sequence of failures and bad planning, you doing these videos because you want to live that moment of being a successful youtuber, maybe you have your job that can pay for your trips, it is cool but it would be better if all of this is self-sustainable, I mean you live from your youtube so would be traveling to make youtube videos, not working somewhere else then spending on youtube videos with nothing back. don't you think every trip has to be to somewhere interesting where you can make a cool video? if so where are the views for your vlogs? if no views why you keep doing the same thing? I think you should first fix the problem of your youtube videos, you are investing so much but in the wrong direction, your vlogs are kinda okay, sometimes they get boring with the details of going to the grocery store then back home... why don't you invest in doing less content with quality? why don't you promote your videos to get more subs and views? why don't you stay home spend less? because spending more don't mean better quality, your subs and views count tells everything, good luck.
Hey, thanks for taking time to write all this! There's so much to this, and believe me I've been having the exact same thoughts for a while. There are a bunch of things that I'd tell you over a drink what contribute to the cutting it short right now... half of it is bad planning, other half is something way more irritating and I have to go back to fix it. (legal stuff) The fun thing is, that I'm addressing most of these concerns in the episode I'm just about to upload. I've set out to start this channel to actually show the process of getting to the goals I've had the process, which is often hard, full of tripwires and not at all as glorified as some people might show it on their channels. So in a sense, that's happening right now - as planned. The rest of your concerns will be answered in the next video :) The one that is not is that in order to actually make a living off this type of work, you have to show what you could do. So I'm viewing this trip now as a sandbox to practice. Filming, photography and how to actually plan for such trips. Sure, not what I had hoped deep inside, but life's rarely fare. I'll take this and turn it to my advantage very soon.
