How glorious having made this movie with 5k and a whole lot of good will from the actors, camera people, sound, editors etc.
love the idea and how well it came out for a first time feature. Pretty dang awesome effort!
A couple of issues:
-It makes no sense that Dakota didn’t call the cops straight away.
-Its implied that Dakota put Ivan into the bed of the truck… no way that’s happening.
- There’s no way the mafia guys would find a grave in the campsite. The area is huge and how would they even know he’s buried.

@@nathan99light You don't have to respond. It left a "clean" brain-taste...no embellishments, no dramatizing. It was unrushed. Reviewing my memories of it, it left space (like in meditation). The music, minimal...perfect.

Dakota should had a buddy with her,the vastness of the place and immense danger lurking within those trees,especially,at night is unfathomable,an armed assistant would suffice
Many survival books recommend eating earth worms in survival situations (which she did at 5:22). They are hosts to lung worms which can and do infect people which could complicate a tough situation.
I wonder what worm breath smells like???

She even stated in the film that she doesn't own a cell phone, plus she never left the cabins/campsite property....plus, If you think people are whining when they call from their cellphone that they're lost, stay home and watch your cartoons, if that bothers you.

Less than a minute in, I can tell this one's gonna be hilarious. We've got a cell phone on a hunting trip and an accidental discharge.
Her first shot? That was no A-D: she shot into the trees or sky out of frustration. And the way she was shooting when "aiming" at the deer, she'd've missed as well, or worse, wounded the deer. Then she drives her muzzle into the ground as she stands. There is absolutely no firearms safety protocol followed in this flick, not a bit of knowledge or skill.

There were a couple of plot flaws ( escaping 100's of rounds ), but overall an entertaining movie. It always helps to have a beautiful yet tough girl.
