Not all my essentials but I agree with you on crew neck sweaters. Love to have such in a few colors. In my climate it would look a lot different but some things are useful whathever climate you live in. Comfortable is no 1 for me.
I love the basic tees from Uniqlo! They’re a little cheaper than EVERLANE. I know EVERLANE is “ethical/sustainable” kinda....but I agree with you, I recently ordered some tees and they felt no different to a cheap tee from forever 21 in terms of quality.

Khaki baggies!!! Light or dark tan or black or the olive or dark blue khakis... CHINOS... with voluminous pleats at the top, tapered and I fold cuff at the ankle.... with a snug tank, white t, button down, wrap shirts, cardigans crew necks... belted or not ... with loafers... or flip flops says preppy all day.
